Find a new hobby to replace gambling. Try working out, learning to code, video games or something like that. I wouldn't recommend gambling with play money, the best thing to do is do some new hobby whenever you feel the urge to gamble. Just keep it up and the urge will eventually go away.

Yes, this is the only option that will lead to success in order to quit gambling. If a person has another more interesting occupation, then gambling just will not be interesting to him.
Gambling is never a occupation if you have interest in other stuffs you should surely switch but gambling is more like a way of increasing your money too quickly it sometimes sounds impossible the way gambling works but if someone makes money from it then it really attracts others also to try

Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about it half the afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust gambling casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix. Smiley
It is tough for us to leave the gambling especially if we are already addicted from it. I think most of the rich people are using gambling as their entertainment or somewhere they could spend their money while on the other side poor peole are using gambling as their another source of income that's why I can claim that leaving gambling is tough. However, you could stay away or leave the gambling as long as you have a will and by just doing another hobby can help you to stop from playing.

It's not easy to leave gambling in a hurry it will take time to forget about gambling because if we always gamble everyday our mind is having a hard time forgetting it. There is always a process if we want to give up gambling. We just need to be strong to forget it and always remind ourself that we are not playing anymore.

gambling is a game of fun first of all then money comes in the second place for.. so that i do not find gambling as an addiction but a leisure time.. giving up on gambling is easy for me.
i do not think that gambling is a game of fun .and entertainment. i think that gambling is only for making money. and and only such people can make money from gambling who have good experience and having good luck in gambling, otherwise gambling is one of the most difficult way of making money. and there is always risk of losing money in gambling.

There is no need to give up gambling and if you can't afford your losses then you have to reduce your monthly budget or play with play money.

Everyone has its preferred activity and I can't see why it shouldn't be gambling, except you bet more than you can cope with.
To give up from gambling, reducing the monthly budget can work. As long as we continue to reduce the budget each month, reduce the budget every month, the monthly budget of our gambling is 0. It is difficult, but it all depends on you.
That is an interesting approach, most people try to leave gambling suddenly but it may be a good idea to do it slowly so by reducing your budget gradually you will not suffer from the effects of withdrawal that are so common among those that are addicted to something.
It's not something new you know ,
A lot of people have tried doing so and yet they all failed ,
Why? Because of The nature of gambling itself is addictive , the more often you play you will get harder to leave ,
I don't really recommend to do it , better to looking for serious help.

Go far away from any casinos or if you are doing it online, avoid using pc or mobile phones or just cut your internet connection.

This is the dumbest advice ever. How could that someone will earn bitcoin if he is going to cut his internet connection just to quit gambling? I don't think so, you don't need to do such thing just to quit gambling, if you are really dedicated on doing so, then you just have to quit it and no other things will be affected.

You could quit gambling by diverting your attention on to something more important than gambling. There is a lot of ways on how you could earn money aside from gambling and a lot of safer than gambling.

For sure. I have been struggling with gambling for years so now its only crypto. Thatxs not gambling riight?

That's not gambling? You've been "struggling" for years and yet you still don't quit. And the title is right that giving up gambling is not easy. Did you managed to make some moves about making a step to quit gambling or you didn't? Because if you had tried many ways to resist gambling then you find it hard to quit.

This is no difference in controlling yourself.  I do not think reducing budget monthly is better way, after all it comes to the person decision alone.  I agree it is hard and harder than we thought but isn't it much better to get a diversion than exposing ourselves to the tempatation?  Anyway, I am not saying that this one is not effective but I guess exposing ourselves to the temptation will certainly make it harder to give up gambling.

Controlling temptations from gambling could not be done all alone, maybe you could find comfort form family members and turning some diversions like engaging with trading platform. This will help you develop a sense of open mind toward changes on the activities you had from most cases that you been failing from gambling, most specially the money that you’ve wasted for so long. You cannot be tempted to play gambling again if you decide to leave that habits and have a new ways of life, stay away from gambling related activities and you’ll be successful.

Leaving gambling in that haste will just be a failure. If you are a gambling addict, you will be needing a comfort to your family or loved ones right? But that doesn't mean you will be totally forgetting the fact that you are a gambling addict. It is better if you remove yourself in gambling bit by bit, it is not about how quick you've done it, but it is how you will be stopping your addiction.

It would be a man's will and willpower. And then to refuse gambling will be easy. Although why completely abandon? It is better to minimize the time that you spend for gambling
that is what people can't do they can't eliminate gambling and that is hard like you said but people don't wanna do little also i saw a person he was gambling little little daily and was earning 0.005 from gambling daily after a month he had a profit of 0.1 bitcon which is profitable and also save

However, it is not as easy as it sound. Just like many of us who are used to using computer every day. How is it possible for us to survive without access to internet forever? Some things have become their habit and it is very hard to change.
We have to get rid of "not as easy as it sounds" and turn it into "I can do it". Everything will be done, the most important is our mindset. If we keep thinking it's hard then it will always be difficult for us. We have to think that it's easy and we'll find the easiest way to do it.

Everything can be done if we want to do it. Sometimes if we cant do it with this way, we can always try another way around. Sometimes the way that peple suggest might not work for us. Example like me, I dont think that I can stop that is why instead of stopping right now I only play with a small amount so that I can have fun and enjoy it

Like they say that the empty mind is the devils workshop, if one keeps their mind busy with work that they are interested in doing they can eventually channel their passion to good things and prevent gambling addiction from destroying their lives. If they are willing to stop gambling then they should work on looking for other things they love to do or sometimes simply work hard and get a job to earn a living.

Giving up gambling won't be a problem to him then, so there is no need  to problem ourselves about advising him not to give up on gambling.  But some people do have hard times giving up gambling even though he has other thing to keep him occupied.  Worst, gambling is on top among his priority.  I believe it is not to get other distraction or whatever to give up gambling.  I think it is how we give priority in our lives.  If we give less priority to gambling then giving up onm gambling wont be that hard.
