I want to just state that there is methods of learning to quit gambling such as playing with fake money or with no money at all then see how they feel about gambling then. There’s a bunch of online guides on how to quit gambling though there’s only one person that could actually do that task and that is only you.
If you learn to suppress the need to gamble then you will have a much healthier life.

Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about it half the afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good. Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.
The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.
So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust gambling casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix.
If you are really decided to leave the gambling place/sites you'll have to make up your mind, in fact, giving up gambling would be very easy if you will have a self-control and self-discipline. You don't need any alibi just because you always said it very hard but still coming back in the gambling sites, come on stay away for it. So the best option is still not to quit but to limit what they are using to play. I gamble only with small amount regularly to feed my gambling addiction and I dont feel bad about it. I lose less than $1 a day even when badluck keep hitting me so I dont really think that it is something I should stop despite keep losing
You guys are right, though when someone needs a break from gambling they should just quit then.
But that's the problem, a problem(addiction) that generates another problem. I guess most of the people here aren't having hard time to quit gambling.
Because they are thinking about a lot of ways to do it and that's what those people need to do.

Giving up gambling is really not easy. You need to have self discipline and self control to do it. You cannot overcome the urge to often gamble if you've been addicted to it. You should think of some alternatives to it. If you want to start giving up gambling, you should do it on the early stages.

logic said that when you are enjoying its so difficult to give up, but if you already ruining your life you better to think and assesseven its gives such enjoyment but the effect to you is not really good so giving it up will be hard but much better for you,.

Good comparison though there may be differences here as with a relationship, you get out because you don't feel the same affection anymore or if you got cheated on by your partner or if both parties decide to call it quits, Gambling though is like taking away an addict's reason to wake up everyday. Some people even put more importance in their gambling than their personal relationships. For regular people, it's easy to quit once your loved ones are involved but for addicts, it's an entirely different case

One can easily gain control on gambling, if one has the skills in scheduling and managing money in a perfect manner. Addiction will happen only when the money management goes out of control. So no need to give up gambling if one has skills as well self realization.
Seriously, stop overthinking. There is no such thing as managing your money or so. If you want to stop gambling then simply stop, there is no magic or such trick around here. You only need some determination to stop gambling , if you are determined enough then you can do what you think it is impossible to do
Good words, but I think n0ne has a good point too. If we want to give up gambling but we can't however hard we try, we can at least reduce the harm it brings to our lives. And proper money management is a good option for that. We just have to set a limit for what we can lose to gambling in a week, or in a day, and then adhere to the scheme.
Yes is not easy to give up gambling, so many gambler prove that because gambling site is for fun, entertainment and happiness that's why so many people attracted in gambling site.

This is true giving up gambling is not easy, Ive been there in this kind of situation addicted into gambling. What I did was I look for other things that caught my attention and set aside playing into gambling which I found this signature campaign. Before I always playing gambling and aiming to win but it turns out Im always lose. So Im thankful I found this forum that caught my attention and forgot my addiction into gambling.

This is the main problems/circumstances of a gambler which is giving up the isn't easy for them to quit in gambling, it is because of addiction they already had in their personalities. They always said its for fun and entertainment only, but unknowingly they never notice in the long run addiction is still coming for them. OP is still in touch with gambling sites (signatures he uses) to solve a problem you need to decide the root of the problem if you really want to stop, it's the best way though it is sometimes difficult to get rid of the habit (gambling)
It doesn't mean that when a person is wearing a signature he automatically gambles, maybe he did not fully give up gambling but he might have minimize it. I am also gambling and that reflects what I wear now but I make sure I only spend a little portion of my income (both online and offline). It is not difficult with only some determination to stop. If you actually think it is difficult then you probably lack of determination to stop. First of all, when you are determined to do something you could achieve it no matter what way you are using however when you are lack of it then there is no way for you to achieve it
