There's no way to quit gambling by yourself and when you came up to the point that you are too much addicted in gambling. No matter how hard you are going to try you will end up failure. I did that before I thought I was strong enough but when my mind tells me to visit a casino and that's how it goes. A companion out of gambling is a big help.
There is a way which is to store your possesion in a safe place and make sure you cant reach it. It is no longer gambling if you are not wagering anything so when you have nothing to gamble then it will not make any sense for you to gamble. You dont need a companion for this because all you need is someone trusted to look after your possesion and make sure that you will have no access to that
Yes there's a way and I can think of if you are going to fully surrender your life to our God, He can help you out. Though I'm not pursuing you to be religious, there are people who manage to quit gambling by seeking help from God and I guess that is going to be an effective solution for quitting gambling alone.
Well gambling and religion are two things that doesnt get along and Im not really going to drag this conversation further as Im not really a 'religious' person however this is not really going to help you unless you have a decent faith and still the best method is to have nothing to gamble so you wont have any desire to play
I'm not also that type of religious guy but don't say that it is not really going to help you out. Whether your faith is strong or not but if you are willing, you can do it. I saw some of my friends that turned their ways back to God did really changed their lives and from a gambler they did manage to reduce their gambling activity.
