If you are using offline wireless it is your responsibility to take the necessary security alerts to keep you physically safe.If you will keep them there they are vulnerable and might be exposed to hacker attacks.

There are many wallets that can be used depending on the type of cryptocurrency you are dealing but ideally, hardware wallets are the best options for safety purposes. Metamask is also good for ethereum and erc20 compactible tokens.

I don't think any global list has made for this. But, Trezor is doing good and acheiving good amount of popularity from people.

Hardware wallet is the most popular and safest wallet to secure your assets. Ledger nano and trezor are one of them.

I wrote a guide which doesn't exactly reply your question, but it does address how to keep your funds safe, what the differences are between different types of wallets:

I keep most of my money in paper wallets. There are a lot of reliable places that you can do this. But we also have to use the wallets in the exchanges.

I think, just a personal key which is nothing to wallet but is needed to spend your Bitcoins associated with a Bitcoin Wallet. Generally, offline wallets are considered as a secure wallet because it can not access even when there is no online connection. If you are using offline wireless it is your responsibility to take the necessary security alerts to keep you physically safe. I do not really believe in web wallets or exchanges because there is always someone who is trying to hack web wallets and exchange databases. This article can help you understand the different types of your Bitcoins preservation

There are so many popular wallets that are used to keep your coins. But not sure about any global list. The most popular wallets are Bitcoin Core, Jaxx,Electrum, Exodus,Rippex. But if you look for the most secure wallet you should go with Trezor or Ledger Nano S.

If you are looking for good wallets then go and look up for the list on the internet. There are a lot of choices and options you might like. Right now Ethrium is quite popular. But you are still uncertain and want to do a thorough research then check the forums or the internet.

Of course there is such a list. Wallets are also known, with the help of which they do the manipulation on the cryptocurrency market. By the way, now the market drop is due to the sale of bitcoins from several wallets. And these wallets are known.

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a global list in which imporant and often used wallets are listed (exchanges, ico's, scams etc)

Any comments ?

Regards lotstep

Electrum has served me well over the years.

Of course running a node and using Bitcoin Core is good if you can do that. But that's certainly not for everyone since it does require some computing resources.

There are many wallets in the cryptocurrency market. But the hardware wallets are safe to use as they cannot be hacked. Ledger, Trezor, Exodus etc are some well-known wallets.

What do you mean by important wallets? Don't quite understand that category.
And remember that exchanges are not wallets, their purpose is not to keep your coins there but to trade them. If you will keep them there they are vulnerable and might be exposed to hacker attacks.
So chose hard wallets for most security and don't keep all your coins in one wallet.
To choose the most popular or best one by choice of users explore some themes here on forum in techical discussion.
