Hey jzhoulon.  We all understand that their are going to be limitation to the new windows miner.  The limit we know of is that sum older processors are probably not going to work.  This is due to the architecture of the processor not being able to interact with minerd, as it is currently developed.

With that being said, I am sure we will have something that is compatible with older processors.  Remember this Windows miner is beta.  Post the CPU you are using and lets see if we can get something figured out.   Smiley

edit:  bstdev wants technical stuff posted to our official forum: http://forum.globalboost.org/index.php?topic=197.0

Lets go that route as he will be on there.   Smiley

Found that I had to let the miner run for about 10 min., the first time to get the pool (mine2.bsty.nonce-pool.com) to start communicating.  It may have been because I had just created my account and worker.  Hope this information is helpful.

I had the same experience at nonce-pool yesterday.  But once it was connected, it was mining real nice.

Working fine when solo, but can't when in pool:

14:47:29

minerd --algo yescrypt --scantime 99 --url stratum+tcp://mine.altpooler.com:3500 --userpass myuser.worker:pass --threads 2 --retries -1 -P

14:47:29

Miner started. You might not see any output for a few minutes.

Ok Good!!
We're looking for hands on linguists to translate, publish, engage, & tend to the threads. Releasing information in a timely manner, and answering questions will ensure our success.
Where do you think the best place to post is? bct, or somewhere else?

Great!!

What language pairs do you specialize in? We want engage new markets from multiple angles, and would love to work with you!

I want to join the translate team so where do I find the project to translate ?
I'm now working for a Vietnamese Company so I can work on the Vietnamese part
Hum... Don't know yet but im thinking of translating the wallet and your website page before I post it on some forums
