Look's great, how long till we can see some game play?

Ring 13 is a major project and it would be immature if i'd say soon. It won't be soon, it will take months to complete, but once it went public it'll set some standards for sure. Our desire is to take the best from both gaming and crypto and frame it into something that gamers and developers will want.
Mind that our 1st GMC game will be out very soon.

P.S. I like your signature BTW Smiley

Greetings GameCredits community!

We are pleased to announce several improvements and projects that we have been working on for some time now.

From the time that the GameCredits Foundation took over the development of gamers-coin, we have renamed it to Gamecredits, which more accurately portrays our goals and the purpose of the coin, which has always been to be an in-game token system that has real value. We believe this can be a truly unique coin, as we are not aiming at the cryptocurrency market as our main focus. It is our goal to make this coin the one that breaks through to the mainstream.

To that goal, we have kept a fairly low profile for some time, working out both problems that we inherited from the old code, bugs in the new code, and as most of you know, one really major breakdown. Our team says to you, with great pride, that we have overcome every obstacle we've encountered. Some you know about. Some you don't want to know about.

So, without further ado, we shall pull back the curtain, just a bit, and give you all a peek into what we've been up to.

First off, We now have an official forum. We invite you all to join and participate! Official GameCredits Forum . While we can do a lot of stuff behind the scenes, ultimately, you are the GMC community, and we want you to join us in making that a strong, vibrant, and profitable community! Whether you are a gamer, developer, investor, or spectator, there is the opportunity to help us shape the future, not just of GameCredits, but of gaming and perhaps even beyond that.

The first question we asked ourselves whe we started developing GameCredits as a gamer's coin was: “How do we present the functionality and advantages of GameCredits to the world at large?”

As it turns out, the answer was easy. Show them. So, now we're going to show you!

We have teamed up with experts in the gaming development field, and started working on a few of our own games. These games are not merely to illustrate the value of GMC, they're going to be entertaining and exciting games in their own right, with GMC integration being only a component of their functionality. You'll soon be welcomed to test one of our new games, and it's a very fun arcade game. But in the meantime, feast your eyes on the trailer for the centerpiece of our gaming efforts to date! This won't be the first released, as it is much more complex than the first one or two we're putting out. Instead, this is the one that we hope will catapult us into the mainstream, or at least get their attention!

Sincerely,

The GameCredits Foundation.

There is a minor problem with gmc.cryptocloudhosting.org for the bootstrap. I made a mistake in my script, so it's not updating properly. The bootstrap is good, just not updated every four hours like it's supposed to be. I will have it fixed in a day or two, just be aware that the current one is from yesterday, rather than up to date. I'll post when it's fixed, and until it's fixed, I'll do it manually at least once a day. (though hopefully it won't come to that).

Web Wallet is ready! Well not quite polished yet but fully functional Smiley  http://wallet.gamecredits.net/

Good job! So much progress! I also checked out the main site and that does look really polished! Smiley

We're gettin' places!

It's gone pretty well with the team in the last few days. Lots of energy, lots of ideas, and as you have seen... quite a lot of work Cheesy

ATTENTION MINERS!

I would be more concerned if I didn't know and trust the operator of acidpool, but it remains a problem. Over 80 percent of the network is on ONE pool. I cordially invite you all to solo mine, load balance between mine and his, or set up a pool of your own so that we are more secure.

Thanks!

Update: a new pool is up. Biomech's GameCredits Pool

Pool is now tested and working correctly. Tried PPS, and it was too much of a hassle. MPOS works great for PPLNS, which is now what it is. All previous registrations are gone, as the old pool and the block chain disaster caused a major DB problem. I believe everyone who was owed has been paid out. Tell me if I'm wrong. New pool is fully functional, but has a lot of cosmetic work to be done yet. So expect it to look a bit different from day to day. All mining functions are tested and working good. Everything I change from here out will either be cosmetic or additional functions like an IRC chat window.

I also want to mention that gmc.acidpool.com is run by noise23, and is also a very good pool. Let's try to get the hashrate spread around between at least those two. I'm not really in it for the profit (though I certainly won't mind Cheesy ), so anyone wants to put up a pool, GO FOR IT! If I'm able to assist, I will. I know MPOS and crypto-expert stratum very well. NOMP, in my arrogant opinion, is an abortion, but UNOMP looks pretty nice for that type of pool. No clue on P2pool, but it would be cool if GMC had one. My pool's link is in my sig, and if you go directly to gmc.cryptocloudhosting.com, you can also link to the block explorer and a continuously updated bootstrap file.

Happy Mining!

Guys, did someone recently transferred successfully GMC to Poloniex? I did 2 transactions, but no one arrived (yesterday and today in the morning). GMC wallet is the last version and on the right block.

johnnysof, i'm sure Poloniex is working on it as we speak. They have few fair yet strict rules with their users protection in first place.
Although this doesn't sound conforting to you atm Smiley Anyway, they'll show up soon.

Hi shavers, thanks. I see! Just wanted to be sure the problem is on their site.
Cheers

Yes, though I'm not sure to characterise it as a problem yet Cheesy They are working with us, and are being very cautious to be sure all is copacetic. I don't have a time line, but they are working on it. My suspicion from our talks is that they want to observe the block chain for a little bit before going live to make sure we actually fixed it. A bit annoying in the short term, but it's good to know they take their duties serious, ne?
