Well in my country there's still a lot of people that are aware and really good at crypto industry and blockchain technology so it wouldn't be a surprised to have such any events about Bitcoin. Though of course some people are not aware from it since the event are it's either posted from a crypto group that some people could be interested to it. My friends actually attended one, they find a lot of freebies that would caught you to have interest about Bitcoin and crypto. Some would give you prizes thru crypto such as Bitcoin, ETH and etc. They've actually won a free NFT by jsut participating in a game and they are so proud. Of course if you don't have any idea about it, it wouldn't caught your attention.

Actually there's a gaming event or cosplay event here in the PH, and you can still see some merchandise with a Bitcoin's logo giving free giveaways. There's also a game that would ask you a little quiz like you can see in the internet where vloggers would ask people like "what's the gravity of the earth and you could win $100" something like that as long as it's related to Bitcoin. I don't know I just find it amazing that despite any event you could see some people introducing bitcoin for other people to acknowledge them.

Yes, I attended one BTC event some years ago that made me to have knowledge of BTC because what they where teaching us was very correct and many people was very happy for what the organizers did to people that attended the event by giving everybody refreshment. And since that event, there was a massive financial change in the life of the youths in the society that touch the mind of the King to give the organizers free land to establish any kind of business and they were also given some native food stuff.  Going to BTC or crypto event is not bad but you need to observe very well to know if truly those facilitators know BTC or crypto very well before you will show interest, because some are looking for way to collect money from people.

I attended seminar before talking about bitcoin or cryptocurrency, it's just online and they are promoting cryptocurrency to the students, it was really helpful and knowledgeable and they've done this for free.
I think those kind of events you are talking about are mostly for promoting their altcoins, it also happens online and there are so many people doing it for their altcoin, it would not be so useful as they just only promoting altcoins.

Seminars are good ways to gain new insights and perspectives about Bitcoin and the system as a whole. Sometimes we think we already know everything then by attending a seminar we discover that there are alternative ways and information that can be useful for us in trading and bitcoin use. However, for events such as you mentioned I think there's nothing wrong attending them but yes they are not so beneficial. Good job on attending a seminar before diving into Bitcoin though, it is a lot better than blindly getting into something.

I don't think it's a great deal to attend to such events. From what I've seen, such events are mainly focused on promoting altcoins and crypto services, including scammy platforms which have already scammed customers in the past. So sometimes it's better to not have contact with these events because they may give a false legitimacy impression to potential investors who will inevitably fall for a scam in the end.
It is true that attending all kinds of big events is not a great strength but many of us attend such Bitcoin events. I think altcoin events mostly turn out to be scams which we see almost too often. But such platforms make a lot of promises and invite customers to invest and later cheat when they join the event. Altcoin events are mostly scams these events mostly make false promises to get people interested in joining them. So it is better not to join these AlertCoin events as they are often scammers. In that case, if you want to attend a good event, then there are Bitcoin events, they are good and they are not likely to be scams.

honestly I have not been opportune to attend any  crypto event but I believe that it can be helpful to depending on what courses that are being taught in any of the even and it also depends on the level of knowledge one have already had before they attend any crypto event. It's possible that I can attend to any crypto even and on getting their they are only teaching people about Bitcoin and Blockchain transactions, mean while I have already had a good knowledge about Bitcoin and transaction. That event can really be of good help to many attendees who do not yet have the idea but not me.

If you've gone past caring about the stupendous price of entrance tickets, you'd find blockchain and crypto events and conventions actually enjoyable. There's people out there that's showcasing their newest stuff, events and games for people to enjoy with prizes involved, some of them even promote adoption by only ever allowing crypto payments inside and nothing else. Personalities from all across the globe that's been pivotal in pushing for bitcoin/cryptocurrency's name is also oftentimes included and I guess that's one of the reasons why these events are so pricey considering not a lot of people attend these events anyway, but all in all it's an alright experience past the entrance ticket fee and all that. It's not so much as a treasure trove of information like how people in here paint it out to be cause you can only learn and know so much from events like this but it's fun nonetheless.

Going to Bitcoin events certainly adds a lot of expertise to your knowledge and you will be able to see things you didn't know about in your digital life and meet new friends who could help you clarify any doubts you had.  Bitcoin events are very educational.
I doubt it actually adds anything to your knowledge beyond what you already know. These are not scientific conferences where new tech or new discoveries are talked about rather most of them are advertisements of newly launched vaporware which seem to good to be true (
Most just go there for the free lunch and some free coins or carrybags or just to stalk some chicks. Grin
Indeed, many crypto conferences do appear to be little more than elaborate opportunities to promote upcoming enterprises. But I think you're taking too limited a view of them. They are more than just pretty faces; they are hubs for networking. Isn't it beneficial to find others who share your interests, learn from them, and challenge your thinking? It's not just about brand new technologies being unveiled, but about improving and disseminating existing ones as well

It's true that enticing freebies might be hard to resist. Who doesn't enjoy a tasty sandwich? However, keep in mind that the experience itself holds the most worth. These events give us insight into the team behind a project, their values, and their level of dedication, which is invaluable in the opaque world of cryptocurrency. In addition, this ordeal provides us Bitcoin supporters with even another rationale to band together and strengthen our convictions

I've never gone for/to particularly, Bitcoin event because there have never been any that was or has been done in my area or near where I live, But I've once attended a crypto currency event which was organized by some group of guys promoting an altcoin that was new in the market at the time.
If I must be honest, I will say that I learnt absolutely nothing that I don't know already, that is that everything taught there was nothing new to me, in-fact, I had to always help them when ever they made a mistake, but one thing i did benefit from that event was the fact that I got to meet new and great people, and also being somebody who loves travelling, that was a great opportunity for me to travel to a new place, be in a new environment even those it was for just a few hours, i had a great time overall.

So for me, attending Bitcoin or Blockchain events isnt all about learning something new, or something you cant learn on the internet, its also about meeting new people, and also being in a new environment, you have the opportunity to see and feel some things that are not common in your own environment.

Going to bitcoin event is one of the best thing I will like to do if there is any one to attend. But in my locality, it will be very difficult to see such events. The benefits that attached to bitcoin events are numerous. You will learn a lot of new things so if you are going to such events, make sure you have to carry writing materials and also prepare to video some parts for future reference. I know , I will attend such events one day.

Going to bitcoin, crypto, blockchain events benefits us in anyway ?

Just like eating an apple instead of a burger or walking at a faster pace instead of a lower pace, there is a minimum gain. If you go to an event you might get a lot out of it, or you might get very little out of it. One thing is for sure, is that you definitely could not leave with less than when you walked in. Just being there is supporting Bitcoin and that is a positive that you'd get from it.

I am something biased at this because of internet sayings, biased in positive side that they are very benefiting and worth my time, share your experiences about going to events is good or bad ,

Unless something irrelevant to the event happened (you tripped over, got hit by a car, ate some bad fish, personal social issues etc.) then what would be an example of a bad outcome from a Bitcoin event?

are you gone to any bitcoin events ? and, in which way it helped you, do you learned new things that is very difficult to learn on internet, do you met amazing people, do going to that events worth your time and money.

From my experience, attending an event always provided meeting new like-minded people or a new fact that I didn't know before. I am sure that would generally be the same minimum positive experience that anyone else who has attended a Bitcoin event.

I have always thought of attending a Bitcoin event by chance any day.
Although, in my region, BTC has not yet grown its user base to become capable of hosting any of such an event, if I have the chance to get invited overseas or travel and then learn of such an event happening nearby, I would be glad to attend.

One notable BTC event that just happened is the 'Pizza event. I read about it first here  but couldn't participate because I only learnt about it that day. I also got notified by my exchange about the event. Am sure it would have been a lot of fun, if I had attended, alone or with any friends or participated with games or bounties on this forum.

In a way it does, say you are an investor and you have told yourself you will only invest if you get up close with some of these crypto enthusiasts to get a better understanding of how cryptocurrencies work and such events are eye opening and also connect you to other cryptonians...

And btw these events to make sense out of them depends on if you do something crypto related to benefit from the.!

To be honest never been to any of them by I have seen these events online but from what have observed,  the main benefits usually goes to the devs as they share one or two things to future projects running and also have a good social networking experience especially that there is a belief these guys are always sitting behind a computer.

Today there are few events are achieved in my region but in the years 2017-2018 they abounded to the same extent "experts" abounded, I think that is what is relevant who the speakers are, etc. But today many interesting events are achieved via online. That in the long term the objective is the same, but if you are in the field of ventures, businesses, web pages, or you are an influencer, this type of event should always be attended, for now the only one I would like to go to one day is Miami.

This topic has come up several times before and I will share what I have shared on these similar topics... Yes, these types of events can absolutely be beneficial if you utilize them correctly.  What do I mean by this? Go to good event..go to events with reputable speakers (not Craig Wright or Roger Ver type nonsnese).  Listen to what the speakers have to say.  Ask questions.

Lastly, you'll more than likely make a friend or two, and for a lot of people that makes it worth while in and of it's self.  I've had a lot of friends go to these event's and have a lot of fun.

I have attended one but it was virtual where they talk about wallet security and privacy, it is very difficult to see pure Bitcoin fancy gatherings and events but I have had an encounter with some couples of some guys and we share a lot about Bitcoin addresses and some improvements they made about how taproot saves a lot of fees but they were more exposed to centralized exchanges from their preference of discussion, they were discussing some minor sats exchange gives to traders who do trading competitions.

However, there is something I picked about Bitcoin events, they don't quite happen the way altcoins do make events every time probably because those coins have sponsors and they are spending money from the foundation but Bitcoin doesn't do this because there are no funds for this but I pray that one day I see one Bitcoin event,

Since bitcoin has some privacy issues in its ownership and owners are often targeted, if you ever visit such a conference don't reveal your forum names or anything that can link you back here.

Otherwise if you are in for some free lunch then good for you. Most of the projects that will be talked about there will turn crap in a year or two. Rarely discussion on Bitcoin occur, which can be helpful.

Don't bother going to a different country just to attend them. Rather visit them if happening in your city.
I think I will take this advice of yours to keep but I doubt I would even attain such event like such in my local area since bitcoin is pretty still seen as a bad news for the government of my nation and with what I have seen so far not much people even in my country even wants to reveal their identity in small gathering that's its not even up to the standard of what you are trying to explain. Since everyone is trying to stay off the radar and keep clean from violating any government imposed rule.
