Since bitcoin has some privacy issues in its ownership and owners are often targeted, if you ever visit such a conference don't reveal your forum names or anything that can link you back here.

Otherwise if you are in for some free lunch then good for you. Most of the projects that will be talked about there will turn crap in a year or two. Rarely discussion on Bitcoin occur, which can be helpful.

Don't bother going to a different country just to attend them. Rather visit them if happening in your city.
Thank you very much for providing such information.  There are also many who try to mislead people with wrong information.  There's still a lot I don't know about Bitcoin.  The discussion on Bitcoin is very important to me.  As far as I know all projects have their own secrets.  How is it possible to assert so strongly that all the projects discussed will later become ill-known?
Although I have been in crypto since 2014, it is also not always possible to track such up-to-date information. Thanks to the author of the post. Bitcoin is my first coin, as is DOGE and Litecoin.

Going to bitcoin, crypto, blockchain events benefits us in anyway ?
I am something biased at this because of internet sayings, biased in positive side that they are very benefiting and worth my time, share your experiences about going to events is good or bad ,
are you gone to any bitcoin events ? and, in which way it helped you, do you learned new things that is very difficult to learn on internet, do you met amazing people, do going to that events worth your time and money.

I haven't gone to any Bitcoin event but that's because I haven't gotten the opportunity to attend one, all the ones I see online are always far from my country. I have attended online events and they were beneficial which means the physical events will be more beneficial.

This events helps us to meet people with similar belief that one day Bitcoin will be acceptable globally and become world currency. It also gives is more hope of holding as you know others are doing the same. You can exchange contact from this events to build friendship.

You can also meet investors that'll invest in your idea that has something to do with Bitcoin blockchain like decentralized wallets etc or get to know about what others are interested in. Social gathering are always beneficial to all those that attend, you get to know things to avoid.
Its a bummer if you cant make it to a Bitcoin event in person. Keep in mind, though, that there is a bright side to online events: you can attend them without leaving your couch and without spending a ton of money on transportation or lodging. In the same way that cheering for your favorite team in a busy pub is more fun than doing it alone at home, I agree that these events can strengthen our optimism in Bitcoin's future. Be wary of always seeing things through rose-colored glasses, though. Your best interests may not be considered by everyone at these events. There are many who will try to take advantage of your good spirit. Maintain vigilance and alertness at all times. Rather than relying on a PowerPoint presentation, a cautionary tale told over coffee may provide the finest investment advice.

If there's one near to my place, I'd love to connect with those people that has the same interest as mine. But I am no longer the same as before that I'll go anywhere as long as I know how to go there and if I've got a free time to participate.

Most of these events have come back because most of them became passive when the pandemic has came.

It's more interesting if most of these events will be in the form of webinar.

The main reason that I am going into these Bitcoin and crypto related events is to network with a lot of people.

I've started attending so many local and international events last 2018 to 2019 and have made a lot of connections and friends in the crypto and blockchain space.

However, that stopped during the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. As the restrictions began to ease, offline events are back again starting last year.

Thanks to these events, I have networked with so many people sharing ideas and projects that we have for future synergies, collaborations, etc. In fact, there are projects who did collaborated with me after our in-person meetup in these conferences and summits.

If you are representing a Bitcoin or crypto-related project, then it is beneficial for you to find projects that are having potential to collaborate with your own project.

Rather to visit such events, I prefer to play bitcoin casinos. For me it`s more useful, than the events. By the way - here you can check top of bitcoin casinos https://www.outlookindia.com/outlook-spotlight/best-crypto-bitcoin-casinos-10-top-bitcoin-casino-sites-to-play-at-in-2023--news-298964

As far as I know all projects have their own secrets.  How is it possible to assert so strongly that all the projects discussed will later become ill-known?
Thats what experience has taught me, the older users of this forum have all invested somewhere sometime in some altcoins and they have only lead to a deprecation of the asset in the long term instead of going up, unlike what an investor would expect. They did spend time to hold and be patient about it but the project either shut itself off or ghosted its investors. In any crypto related event you can find these altcoins showing off their new product and their token or coin, but be assured that it would never be the next bitcoin.

It's just an event and if you don't dare to go, it makes no sense to expect bitcoin to become ubiquitous and become a means of payment globally. Because then you will be using bitcoin all the time and everyone knows your identity. Privacy is lost as bitcoin becomes ubiquitous and is used every day.
An event does not change the public adoption, most people go there to have the free lunch or meet with some potential investors to get money. How you use bitcoin and protect your identity is your own choice and it can be done if you are clever enough.

If there will be holding events like that in my place, I will gladly attend and will listen very well to what they are saying in the seminars and participate in their events to support Bitcoin. They always attend every event held in this city and sometimes the attendees reach hundreds of participants they are also active in any activities that the events will give as long as there will be no involvement of payment because most of them are poor and can't just pay any fees.

Going to bitcoin, crypto, blockchain events benefits us in anyway ?

Attending Bitcoin, crypto, and blockchain events can certainly be beneficial for those interested in these topics. These events provide a great opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals, learn about new technologies and trends, and gain insights from industry experts.

My personal experience attending Bitcoin events has been positive, and I have found them to be informative, inspiring, and well worth my time and money.

Thank you very much for providing such information. There are also many who try to mislead people with wrong information. There's still a lot I don't know about Bitcoin. The success or failure of any project will depend on a range of factors, including market conditions, competition, regulatory developments, and more.

To assess the potential success or failure of specific projects in the cryptocurrency space, it's important to take a critical approach and evaluate each project on its own merits. While some projects may have promising technology or a strong team behind them, others may lack a clear use case or have other red flags that make them less likely to succeed.

As an investor or participant in the cryptocurrency ecosystem i think it's important to stay informed, remain cautious, and evaluate each project on its own merits

Actually those events helps but sometimes mislead some people from their attitudes or the way they explain bitcoin, the best way of understanding bitcoin is to learn manually and with some help of online tutorials and practice by using bitcoin and store for some periods of time, so it's what I believe in cryptocurrency. Event program of bitcoin, I have participated in different varieties but what I found out from them is that they always want to benefit from people who attend their program by telling them of investment and also instruct them to partner with them for investment. Its good to attend but let us not be deserved by them. You can acquire the knowledge of bitcoin through many ways.

If there is really something useful in them not just a normal discussion room if you already know about it.The benefits can be in form of meeting like minded people with whom you can interact more and gain knowledge with more exposure or if some new projects or technology is being introduced you come to know about it.It can benefit you but some say it end up privacy but you don't need to tell anyone that you have invested in it as one could simply be interested in it without any investment backup. So attending them is no harm according to me.

Before going to an events that relates to bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large there are things you need to be considered at first, meaning you have to ask yourself these question that what are your objectives and main purpose of going there, what do you think would come out of it if you eventually steps in there to spend your time, what kind of guest speakers do we have there.

To me i always put those things into consideration before going out there to join the event, maybe after i do my findings and i noticed they aren't the people i expected to be there then i will just have to spare my time to have a little visit after which i take my leave. But know one thing for sure that whatever event you attend you must definitely learned something new and something different from there.

Bitcoin events can help you socialize with other like-minded people, this events must be strictly Bitcoin events because if you say cryptocurency that means there will likely be scams in those event disguise as real businesses looking for investors or publicity. I don't go to cryptocurency events, but if there's any Bitcoin event in my area I'll attend.
Satoshi wanted us to socialize and that's why he created this forum so he isn't against socializing. You just have to be secured yourself at those events and there's no need to share information you wont be comfortable with others having like you investment portfolio size, personal address, emails or phone number. You can just go to socialize and learn more.
We're humans and socializing has it advantage, made you'll get to have other information first hand at these events and get to meet other opportunities that you could invest in outside Bitcoin.

I gotta say, I can't roll with the idea that hitting up bitcoin, crypto, and blockchain gigs is pointless. On the contrary, these events can be your ticket to bossing up in the game.

Check it: you'll discover next-gen tech, fads, and game-changers that aren't all over the internet yet. Learn from industry wizards dropping knowledge bombs you won't find just anywhere.

Also, you'll get to rub elbows with fellow industry rockstars, make connections, and score sweet collabs that'll fast-track your success.

And don't sleep on the hype and fire you'll catch from conferences, workshops, and seminars. They'll keep you current on the industry buzz and laser-focused on smashing your targets.

going to bitcoin events and meeting investors bitcoin investors, I think that there are pros and cons.

if I personally have never attended a meeting with bitcoin investors because in my area it can still be said that there are very few people who know bitcoin.

and I personally prefer not to be open about investing in bitcoin.
Bitcoin is generating and dominating the world economy with absolute stock and volatility of the market. Failing to create awareness about bitcoin will definitely rule out negativity in the minds of the citizens because they might get the knowledge of bitcoin in another complicated dimensions, either through losing money to fraudsters or getting zero profits on the project. Anticipating in Bitcoin events is probably not a bad idea, but with potential purpose of helping the economy and the citizens should be the ultimate priority of the moderators behind the events.

I once participated in a bitcoin event but the fact was far from my expectations because the event was not talking about bitcoin or news about crypto. The event discussed an investment program in the name of bitcoin to invite many people to come. I was really disappointed to see it all because they joined because there was a "bitcoin" word in that event but in the end, they were told to join an investment program that was not clear.

I will never want to attend events like that again because most of these events don't discuss bitcoin in detail but offer investment programs that can mislead the public. Studying on the internet is better because it is a place to find the knowledge you want.

There are really like bitcoin conventions that happened months ago in New York. For sure, if you attended those pyramid schemes or HYIPs telling you to attend seminars about them, they will be giving out free snacks. Most of these seminars will claim that you will make a lot of money, which is a red flag that you should avoid. Though I still haven't joined a bitcoin event, I would participate in it and just want to hear some thoughts from others.
