Yes, that's what they are doing "Turning it into a scam coin"...Because it certainly wasn't created a scam coin...
A. Stop Spamming.
B. While you may be against a difficulty change, shortening the difficulty time may be necessary in order to decrease the difficulty affect from attackers. Not doing so could make it so the coin takes so long to use that its not useful.
