Yeah. You can't do anything. Even the tutorial eats up your energy bar.

I want to warn you. Dealer is a Scammer (or not very nice ;P). I bought three FF XIV Gamecards from him (he messaged me via pm, i searched in marketplace for someone who sells them). And now he isn't answering. Last pm from him was three days ago..... I lost 0.39 coins :/ Maybe he will answer now, because this is his thread...

Have been playing this game a little.  Seems interesting so far, haven't explored much outside of building yet.   I like the background noise, peaceful.

I'm already stacked on gold while the average player would be way behind.

I believe it is risky to be stacked on gold, you are more likely to be attacked

That's your own fault then, heh!
Not really. The energy only come back 24 points in a day, but there is so much stuff that can be done in that time..

I ment it's your own fault that you only built a goldmine haha. But yes I agree, there's more you can do than you have energy for.

This game needs patience, It is not meant to be played continuously, just make few actions and come back many hours later

Can you lose the mined gold if someone attack you?

I played few such games, I call these a time game, but never more than few days. Seems like work to me after initial fast progress rather than fun

Well if you play it for a while without investing anything you should be able to get a decent weekly amount.
The energy lack is annoying though.

True, but if you manage your energy well enough it shouldn't be a problem Smiley Instead of building lots of production buildings, you should upgrade existing ones. Saves a lot in energy.
Well duh. I haven't built anything but a goldmine. My current energy is 0 >.<

Well, it's up to you guys if you want to try it out. I know I'm playing it seriously and aside from the possibility to make money, the game is quite fun Smiley I shared your suspicion at the start, but after reading up on the site and reviews I'm all enthusiastic Smiley
Okey, explain in a short sentence where the real gold the players can earn comes from, please.
Who pays for it and why.

Tried to find something about that and is - as expected - all fluff.
But you as enthusiast are surely able to tell as , right?

You can pay real money to gain things like more money, a bigger army and other things. You can also invest in town shares, materials etcetera. Since the game has a set amount of gold backed up, and they don't back up more and more gold each time, they make a profit from this.
Hey guys,

Thanks to Dantefortal I found the game Goldentowns. This is a game where you control and organise a village. The great part if that you can earn actual gold/money with it. In contrary to sites where you click banners or so for money, where you need months to earn a decent profit, this will net you a profit quite quick! Ofcourse you shouldn't expect hundreds of euro's/month in the beginning (unless you start to get really good), but with an hour a day you can earn quite a nice profit each week/month.

If you'd like to check it out and learn more, check out the site of Golden Towns. If you're going to register it would be great if you use my referall link. That will benefit both of us. Ofcourse you can also use dantes.

Referall link: www.goldentowns.com (You should do this, both of us earn quicker and I can send you bonds etc).
Normal link if you don't link referall for some reason: goldentowns.com

Cheers!

Can you please elaborate how much I can earn from this? So far all games only earn few penny after few months...

It obviously depends on how much you play and what you do. There are people earning just a few dollars a week, but also people earning $20-50 a week. I'm talking about people that don't invest theirselves right now. Don't expect that amount in the first few weeks though, but I assume you understand that ^^.

Just a hint, you are allowed refeall links in your signature only.
You have no signature, so why not put it there.

Also how much gold can you get if you never put dime in the game? But only your time.

I thought as long as you also add the normal link it is allowed? Added it in my sig as well though, thanks for the suggestion.

Surely there are better things to do with one's time than fall prey to these sorts of things.

I'm still kinda suspicious. It sounds to good to be true. Earning real gold by playing a relatively small game.

And most times when it sounds to good to be true, it is just that.

The only thing I could think of would be redistributing the money from people who pay for cowcllicker...
So there is probably a lot of stuff in there that makes you want to pay money to progress faster.

They are planning to implent Bitcoins, should've mentioned that, but indeed it's not there yet.
You can pay to play the game more intensively, which is how they make their money. You should read their explanation of the game and the system, it's actually quite interesting!

I'm not in a need for such a game, but whoever wants to do that should read that very carefully.
I kinda get the snowballsystem vibe from it.
