There is a thread listing all scammy crypto casinos and sportsbooks. This one should be added to this list obviously.
🔻 List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid

It's better and more convenient to keep only one thread updated to centralize all bad actors on one single list, in order to let gambling section members finding more easily the gambling sites to avoid or to be wary of.

But from the images it would be difficult to dictate if such a person is really a scammer or not and so many might give in to his offer since it looks very real and welcoming.

Here's an example of a user that can easily fall into the trap. There's no such thing as "difficult" if you will let your common sense do the job for you. Just by analyzing carefully what's the offer, you should have an obvious approach.

I suggest becoming more vigilant about what you encounter on the internet.

Where did you receive this message?

It's on Telegram based on the screenshot posted. But anyhow, the approach should always be the same whatever the platform used is by these scammers.

For some reason, it seems that Telegram is a very popular platform among these scammers. It's not the first time someone shares such an experience about an offer to bet on rigged games, where the person in the chat allegedly knows the outcome.
But no matter, the important thing here is critical thinking, which many people avoid (if these spammers keep attracting users, this means sometimes these schemes work!).
People should analyze: Why would that person suggest collab and risk discovering this unlawful activity for 50%, when he can take the whole 100%?
But they just ignore that, which is why, I think, the best option here is don't even open these chats and directly block when someone sees smth of the sort, this will rid people of temptation, powered by greed.

This is really a tempting offer and a whole lot of persons has lost fortune from scammers who disguise themselves in this format. But from the images it would be difficult to dictate if such a person is really a scammer or not and so many might give in to his offer since it looks very real and welcoming.

Do not doubt the intention they are really trying to scam, before you can withdraw that amount they will ask you first to make a deposit, there's no such thing as free money here, this is very similar to the emails you received in the olden days about the inheritance stuff, this time they are using a gambling platform, people will get into a trap if they believe in something that is too good to be true.

I've experienced this before, Someone is trying to collaborate with me about the same thing. After checking the site, I figured out that it is a scam/fake casino knowing that it is nearly brand new and there's nothing information about them on the internet, I also explored their casino and try verifying the wins showed but it's on the offside. Just the basic clues.

Too good to be true offers like these should be investigated first, A shady backdoor collaboration like on the OP wouldn't really happen in real life. The supposed moderator can easily collaborate with his family if it is real than finding random stranger on telegram  Roll Eyes

Where did you receive this message? It would be better to warn everyone here whether this message is spreading through email, Telegram, Facebook, etc so that they would immediately ignore and delete it.

I have also received a PM from somebody who introduced himself as a staff from Stake.com. I got the PM in Telegram.

Crypto gamblers should ignore personal communication from anybody if they are not expecting it.

You could verify instantly if it is a trap or not when they come too strong in the beginning, no one would slap you in the face that you could make a fortune by just doing a very simple task but it involves money, that's way too fishy and skeptical in the highest level. But I don't know why there is a lot of people who are getting fooled by scammers. It's an obvious scam but people still choose to risk their money.
Greedy people will choose to risk their money like this because they are hoping for an easy money and will regret it later on as they fall into a scammers. We all know how gambling works and there's no moderator or anyone that can make you a winner easily, better not to entertain those attempt and just gamble to have fun, don't be greedy because gambling is not a way for easy money.

The risking of money when it comes to scam isn't the first priority, they have to make the users too greedy to back away first so it has a higher chance of catching victims, that's why there is a lot that still falls for this kind of scam because scams are evolving, what we can do is be more vigilant in the future.
Yup, it would continue to evolve once a certain scheme would bust up then these scammers would always come up with a new idea to hook up people specially those greedy ones
because people do easily get fascinated when you do let them see on how to earn money or profits on most possible easiest way that they could be and where human
greed do easily snap on and make out mistakes like this which is a bit common. I agree on others been saying that only your common sense would save you
in situations like this.
Even if the scheme is busted, they will continue to use it, just wrap it differently and some possible victims might never catch on with the fact that it is the same old scheme. Look at the Runescape doubling scam, it was adapted by many scammers but they put their own flavor as to how they are going to execute the scam. Another problem is thatthese scammers are always following the latest technology.

He says he is the moderator of a gambling website, This is a trap,
Yes, you are right I reviewed the goldxbtc.com gambling site, it looks like they have not finished making their gambling site to bet on this is evident from their website is empty.

https://www.gositestat.com/site/goldxbtc.com

And also from that ID the admin's name is still kept secret, meaning that the goldxbtc.com site is not officially operational yet.

Hopefully no one is deceived by the manipulating / fake goldxbtc.com gambling site.

Scammers are really using everything that they can just to get some money.
People just need to remember to DYOR and if it's too good to be true there is a high chance that it is a scam.
Always remember to DYOR before sending money specially if the site was just recommended by stranger's.

scammers will always find a way how to screw gullible users. that's how they are earning money for themselves. they don't care if they are screwing your life's savings. as long as they can deceive users, they will do it. maybe, users from the forum can easily spot such scamming technique. however, outside the forum, especially newbies, those are easy targets of these scam sites. they will only realise that they got scammed after they sent money.
one way also to check is use the trustpilot service , if they have existing bad feedback from users, you can see it. but since this is new, you may not find any.
and from my earlier post here, the stats are really dubious. for a new site to pay thousands of $s for these winners, and everyday?

Well, a gambling platform that lets moderators choose its winners itself isn't really a gambling platform anymore, it's just a home for scammers to scam people. Honestly, the first thing that came up to me was that the man was using the gambling site as a way to scam people, the site itself wasn't really a scam but rather legit since honestly, people doing the exact same thing have done so for the past years, doing it again seems kinda stupid. Turns out I overestimated their intelligence.

It's a scam site that uses the gambling platform to scam people I have encountered this scheme two years ago, yes it's an old scammer's method to scam people, they tempt you with big amount, just lucky I did a research on this and find out it's a scam, there's no logic in collaborating with unknown people if that moderator can do that then he will let his relative take the huge amount.
Two things that you should remember here on the internet, there's no such thing as free money, and do not trust a stranger on a too good to be true offer, 100% it's a scam.

It's always my habit to ride a conversation like that wherever I received it on my Telegram. I will do some exchange of messages acting like I'm interested then later on I will laugh at that scammer after they explained what to do. Cheesy

I know newbies won't fall into that obvious trap easily or if they are in question, they will seek advice from others first. I've remembered a thread where a user was asked by some random strangers to register and play on the site and the user won as promised. But when attempted to withdraw, the system told the user to deposit first so the user created a thread here and ask the community's pulse about it.
I do have this kind of behavior whenever i do received with these kind of messages and other scam attempts on my TG and other social media mediums where if i do have some time
to spent or waste then i do get along with scammers attempt and as if im really interested on said offer and trying to be that eager on making a deposit and when the time

the conversation is going into the point where money is already on the talks then i do usually say fuck off and not a bad try to scam someone. haha.
Common sense is really needed on these kind of times.
