Telegram and other messaging service became the breeding grounds for these scammers and victims alike. I would suggest that you don't make it known to strangers that you're either connected to crypto or gambling itself because these are the parameters these thieves are setting to choose who they would scam or not scam during their operations. Plus it keeps you secure from hackers too.

It's a sure win programmed by them. After that, they will ask you to deposit a specific amount just to be able to withdraw the amount.

And the website seems using an API that's why the chatbox looks like having a real conversation but the live feed was on another source. I thought sites like that don't exist anymore as before, there are lots of the same sites that being taken down and site owners will just change the URL and promote their scam attempt again.

They are using other ways including telegram and they are sharing tempting offers so that newbies fall into the trap they have created.

Hopefully, with how crypto gambling evolves over several years, people are now aware of any scam attempt. Some newbies might be new to crypto gambling but not totally newbie in knowledge about scam attempts.

That was an old scam tactic but since there are newbies day by day, these fraudsters can still put someone in the trap.

I've remembered lots of the same threads about this and I hope that spread awareness to the community especially those newbies that no doubt, some can easily fall on that sh*t. But still, I'm amazed at some newbies that know how to use their common sense. I hope more and more will be like that as scamming activities, especially in the world of gambling, won't end nor be stopped.

If something sounds to good to be true then its actually a scam. I havent encountered such scheme but its obvious that they are just trying to lure you to make out deposit on the site

trying to convince you that you would really win on a certain game but the truth once you do deposit then they would completely block you and your money is gone.

With just using up your own common sense then you can eventually tell that this one is a scam on first encounter but if you do make or let yourself greedy then
you would just simply ignore it.

Ever wonder if that fellow is capable enough to make someone a winner, wouldn't he ask his distant relatives to try this trick and make money out of it? So whenever you see such kind of offers in the internet, stay out of that!
That's is true. If he is asking to win against the casino that he's working, he shouldn't look for any other people. But instead, he should ask his relatives to join him with what he's trying to do and make both of them rich.

What would be the reaction of that scammer if that's what you're going to tell him? I think that he'll change the topic and would say that you're the one that's very much deserving than his relatives.  Tongue

The offer is too good to be true, why would he wants to share his earnings with a stranger, if this happens to me and I have that amount I will ask a friend to help me out when it comes to things like this do not trust a total stranger, there is no such thing as easy money in the internet, nobody will share you their money here, you have to be realistic, there's too many scamming going on in the internet.
There are some instances that happens to be that someone does give money on the Internet which is pretty shitty since people are going to get confused because they might be missing out on something instead of getting scammed. But @smyslov is right, we have to be careful and always consider anything that gives money on the Internet as a scam unless a lot of people refute your claims.

There is one simple rule, if someone has found a way to make a lot of money and he wants to sell that method to others, it's a clear scam! No one will be interested in letting others know his secret of fortune, even if against a monetary benefit. Good catch!

This website is still active. As a result of which the risk for newbie is increasing day by day, they need to be warned to save them from the trap of this website. They are using other ways including telegram and they are sharing tempting offers so that newbies fall into the trap they have created.

Well, a gambling platform that lets moderators choose its winners itself isn't really a gambling platform anymore,
still it is . i have tried playing in a gambling site where mods can choose a winner .
the game needs to be played fairly and mods cant randomly pick who ever they like to win the game but its only a mini game from the public chat and to thier forum . moderators dont have the power to manipulate the whole game

Right. The moderator has no power to make anyone a winner in a game. Due to the lack of understanding of newbies, many do not understand the purpose of such messages.

it's just a home for scammers to scam people. Honestly, the first thing that came up to me was that the man was using the gambling site as a way to scam people, the site itself wasn't really a scam but rather legit since honestly, people doing the exact same thing have done so for the past years, doing it again seems kinda stupid. Turns out I overestimated their intelligence.
its a real gambling site. it has records and the url is working when you visit it but it was scam because the moment you deposit your money will be gone .
i will believe if the moderator that message the op will provide the money first but he wont do it of course .

This is one of the old tricks and I think in the forum no one is going to fall for it.The only people who were scammed were outside of the forum and the scam led them here to tell their different stories from cloud mining to gambling scams.Every single user who reads the forum daily knows that these are just poorly made scam attempts.
you are right, it looks like the impostor has run out of his mind to carry out his action so inevitably he has to use the old and common trick to trick his victims  Grin, but to be honest, if a trick like this has become a virus that spreads and everyone has known about it but still there are some people who are trapped and become victims of these scams, I think we should continue to disseminate news of scams like this so that people will be more vigilant and can avoid this kind of fraud, to be honest some of my friends have even lost some money due to their greed and ignorance of fraudulent schemes like this. Today I received a message from someone. He says he is the moderator of a gambling website, so he can make me a winner! This is a trap, he is trying to trap people by making tempting offers. Newbies need to keep in mind that there is no such thing as a sure way to win. So you should not be attracted to such tempting offers and earn by working in the right way.

Thanks for the heads-up, and yes this is an obvious scam and I'm sure you are familiar with these schemes. But there are still gullible individual who are greedy and didn't think logically that can still fall for it. There's no way a legit website, with it's moderator messaging everyone for a cut on the winnings. He/she can do it as he/she can have accessed and steal the money. And the one that they can victimised here is newbie.
We can't do much if people outside the forum fall for it, they didn't know better and they are too privileged and too sloppy with their security that they don't bother researching about the website's legitimacy before playing in it, I am sure that the Internet has something to say about almost any website out there.
^ Definitely right.
This is fun not until you get to the point that you had like to withdraw you have won. Surprises and exciting offers are there though!
This is not an unusual thing, if a moderator took time to get in touch with people directly, then trust me you are on the track you never wanted to get involved. Do you have any updates on your conversation? How did the conversation go through? At which stage of the conversation are you at now? Is he offering you anything now? Let us know so we can assess and expose the website’s modus in full.

I also received a message on telegram with the same story and that guy claimed that he has the administrator privileges and he can change any game's results. Then that guy asked me to sign up for a demo, I did it. He asked my username and told me next game's results that I am going to win it and I did. But I did not deposit there for real and relaxed when I saw that he was trying to use my credentials to login to another gambling website, he knew I am available at.

Scammers look for new blood especially on social media, the gambling scams have no borders. I have fallen to a similar scam on telegram, someone messaged me and asked me to register under his referral to claim a free 200% bonus without further conditions. Registered and got the free bonus but for withdrawing the balance I have to deposit a minimum of 0.1BTC and he told me to deposit this required amount. He was going to make me the winner on house games, so I can triple the deposit amount. Cheesy Of course, I have deleted account credentials and never look back.

Whenever you try with a new gambling site, it is good to have a cross-check of the domain. This kind of problem easily makes people loss their private keys and losses fund. When you get into a phising site, it request for sign-up/register. Here the data we provide will be tried with other websites and our balance will be stolen. Good is to use advanced features like 2FA security.
