That is a wise idea. because I am afraid that this year, there will be changes in the economic recession. This will cause a lot of negative effects on the prices of stocks, especially stocks of the US, Japan and China. Their public debt is huge and we should use fiat money to buy bitcoin. Don't try to buy alts because this bitcoin halving will make the value of Bitcoin grow stronger in the future. alts are just bitcoin's followers and it's quite risky to speculate now. So please consider it and good luck.

Hello all,

I am new to crypto currency market as I was before in shares and stock market. I have basic knowledge of cryptocurrencies like how supply, demand and history of famous coins. I am looking to invest in 2-3 cryptocurrencies. My investment: $200-$500. I would like to invest little amount in starting, afterwards I will increase my investments.

Well, I select the following coins:

Bitcoin : because it is no.1
Ethereum: this crypto is down these days, but I have got a news that ethereum 2.0 will roll out this year. So, I hope that this crypto currency price will go up.
Binance: because of stability

And eos if possible

I would like to know your suggestions before taking the steps.

Thanks
To start a start is better with a small amount first and for me now I will choose to buy and hold ETH because we know ethereum 2.0 will roll out this year and for me ETH is the right coin to invest now and maybe I will invest also in BTC and several other coins that I am currently still observing to look for opportunities to make a profit.

I think your crypto investment strategy is pretty good. and the coins that you choose in my opinion are also good because I think ethereum, EOS, and Binance are potential coins and will likely pump when bitcoin is bullish. I suggest using 50% of your money to buy bitcoin and 20% ethereum, 20% eos and 10% binance. but all decisions come back to you that is important you have already done your research.

As starter investor in crypto currencies, your choices are pretty good and you almost in good timing as there is a big chance that the market will shift this year from bear to bull. In which your investment will surely multiply once the bull run will start to happen.

It will be best also if you will start buying your investment this coming January 25 as there is a big chance that those coins that you have mentioned will goes down a little bit.

it's good enough that you choose 3 top to invest in these coin ,it would be better if you put more altcoin on portfolio that according to your analysis is correct ,eos also actually has potential like ethereum right ,advice don't try to take more risks below 200 in market capitalization except already have a lot of experience because this market is difficult

Bitcoin and Ethereum have always been in my bag for a long time and are well stored, because I believe they (BTC, ETH) will have a bright future. For EOS and BNB, these two altcoins / tokens are in my research, and are already included in my portfolio, but have not dared to put money there (BNB, EOS). the decision remains in your hands.

Bitcoin as number 1 is the best choice you can make,,, period. I think if you have to go into crypto, then Bitcoin should be the majority of it. You will learn later that alts no matter what follow Bitcoin's fate.

Also,,, Ethereum makes sense as a safe bet too,,, in worst case scenario if it does not boom it will at least still be around.

BNB a big no. Centralized. Only 1 use case.

You've already make the right decision and limit your risk by going for Bitcoin, Ethereum and bnb token, they can't disappoint you particularly ETH and Bitcoin, bnb token is only useful on the binance exchange and outside the exchange its worthless but still a good choice.

Those coins are good choice but I just try to tell you if currently EOS has a problem with its internal party (block.one) about the launch of the voice that can be launched to the EOS blockchain. It's better if you can try to shift to the another promising coin. This just to make sure if you can avoid the possibility to get a loss.
Litecoin, DAI, ADA, Tezos are also look good choices too.

PS:

Thanks all for your meaningful, personally experienced replies with these coins. I am glad to posted my query on bitcointalk, this community is super active. Cheesy

Well, I read all the replies and what I got to understand is that I should decide the % of amount to invest in these coins. Even I am increasing my investment amount to $1000. I did calculation and here are the results:

Bitcoin: 25%
Ethereum: 40%

Many users said that I shouldn't go for BNB and EOS upon the basis of many factors like centralized, eos performance not good etc. Most of the experts said that I should look & analyse on these coins:

Ripple: It is popular and promising altcoin.
LTC: Confused in this altcoin. Need to do research on this one.
Doge: Not sure
LINK: Maybe Risky. Never heard about this coin before.

Well, My investments are upon the basis of long term, I will invest for 1-2 years. But, I would like to know your opinions about long term and short term, What should I choose between long term and short term?

Last question, Which exchange should I go for? I am confused in choosing a good exchange? What's your experience  on top exchanges for trading cryptos?

Thanks Again!
