ETC: have a trading position, and I like it at the current price which I see as downside-protected
Synereo: if Steemit falls apart, we might see some up action here, but still watching this

i only hold bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin. my ltbcoin and foldingcoin has been sold away in almost one month ago, maybe i will try to put BTS and XRP for an option.

I think both LISK and Waves are good long time investment. They are still in the begining,have money,active developers and THEY ARE CHEAP

I would removed ETC from the list and add XMR and DASH. At least one of XMR and DASH seem to have a good future.
What do you think about Zcash as a replacement of the both of them? I was also focusing on acquiring XMR the last couple of weeks, but I've heard that Zcash, when delivered as promised, might be a way better alternative.

The bolded above I agree with. The rest are like WTF coins, and I wouldn't hold them if you paid me to. But I'm just pessimistic about altcoins in general now. Too much risk, and the market seems to be very saturated. You could probably make a fast buck on all of the above, but long term (except for btc, doge, LTC)? I doubt it.- Bitcoin

I base my list on coins that have been around a while and have some credibility. I believe long term that coins with strong fundamentals will surpass those that do not.
I remember around January 2013 when altcoin trading was starting to gain steam, people where buying and selling scam coins to make a quick buck. Now if they had taken that money and put it into litecoin/peercoin/namecoin instead they would have seen returns to the tune of 30000% that november, but they decided to invest in "hype" coins and make chump change in comparison.
I am not saying that this will happen again but i prefer to invest in something that has long term planning and some goal rather than IPO/ICO which exist only to enrich the devs.

eth is longer than etc cause etc is new in market, but i think etc has good future, indeed the price is not stable but im like this coin.
