This is the best of news on Bitcoin, at least those persons who don't support Bitcoin can now see that it has put into the world guineas book of record. This is a great achievement by Satoshi and other bitcoin users, people believes that anything written in the Guinness book of record is easy to access and is the fact. Countries and individuals who are yet to start using bitcoin can now have the confidence in Bitcoin as the Guinness book of record has let them know that Bitcoin is real and has now been into use by people so far. Bitcoin has come to stay in order to help us overcome financial freedom, so nobody or government can stop it from my own perspective, Guinness book of record has just giving an awareness of bitcoin to the world.
The Guinness World Records is very good publicity for Bitcoin and a added value is that it is positive publicity. In a world that are dominated by FUD, some positive news will boost Bitcoin's reputation.
It gives Bitcoin some legitimacy and it also highlights some aspects that puts it head and shoulders above other shitcoins. Also, the fact that it puts the history of the coin in some perspective, because some people like to "change" the history to suite their agenda.

This honor deserves to be given to satoshi as the creator of bitcoin for the first time, with the recording of bitcoin in the world record book automatically indicating that bitcoin is one of the miracles created by a genius for convenience for mankind in the modern era, with the recording of bitcoin of course this will be a pretty heavy blow for people who have been spreading negative sentiments or even for those who already hate bitcoin. 
Guinness World Records lists Bitcoin as the right decision. Bitcoin will remain the sole pioneer in the blockchain world in the future and that is something we should celebrate. Gradually the world recognized the existence of bitcoin which played an important role in the development of the blockchain industry. El Salvador, the name of the country that is registered as a Bitcoin adopter has a legal tender to be recognized and it will be history how the world will respect the decision to adopt Bitcoin.

It's worth pointing out that every 10 minutes on average a new record is always being created by Bitcoin: The largest blockchain in the world, from Genesis in 2009 until the last block.

It is a well deserved recognition. As the pace setter in the blockchain industry, it should not have been less than that. Bitcoin is the first blockchain and so therefore it is not coming as a surprise for the Guinness World Record to have recognized it. So far, Bitcoin has paved way for other blockchain and Crypto currency which has blossom and made people in the industry. It has made men and created fortune for many. It has alleviated people from poverty to riches as early adopters and investors in the industry. Bitcoin made way for the blockchain economy to thrive leading to many Crypto industry oriented projects and jobs. As a result, there have been series of attacks on blockchain and Crypto currencies globally because of its achievement and advancements. At all costs, government wants to regulate and control Bitcoin because of the impact it is making in the world as a whole.
At least it will be good start for those who always feared of investing into it and had fear that it could be a ponzi or some other sort of financial scam. Because entering into that book gives it a official statement for it's existence and thus it can serve as positive hope for those who never entered for the reasons I already stated above.

Maybe this can make new adoption for other countries but in another side, the big country that has strong fiat will be very careful to avoid bitcoin to be dominated in the world. this is like a double-edged sword for bitcoin, we'll see more and more people sneer at bitcoin, and this make more people know, and make more hatter and lovers.I suspect bitcoin haters, they really hate it for the inconclusive reasons they give or because they feel they have missed something and they think they've lost to pioneers like us. I think they understand BTC very well and they are afraid that if bitcoin becomes more and more popular and powerful, their status and reputation will no longer be different from ours, they don't want an equal gender. That's why they hate it, not because they don't understand it, IMO.
For countries with strong fiat like the US, I don't expect them to accept bitcoin as a fiat alternative, that's too vague. I just hope they accept it as legal and bitcoin will be used in tandem with fiat.

But in the countries that have accepted Bitcoin long ago, there are less hatter and in the countries that are new or not yet banned, everyone is afraid to use Bitcoin and has a negative opinion about Bitcoin.
This achievement is great for bitcoin lovers because it will bring more attention and trust in people for recognizing its importance and bring people to create something new innovated ideas for enhancement its functionality and provide more secure world to.
This recognition is good for bitcoin but they should have replaced the title and make it something better and more recognizable. This is a slap to the faces of those people that have been against to bitcoin and haters of it. They're aware that nobody owns the entire bitcoin blockchain while Guinness recognizes it for its purpose.

We should just be happy that there's Guinness that have included bitcoin on its book. It may not be a big deal for you and for the others, that's okay. As you have said, this is actually good for its publicity.

I always celebrate any good news that I hear about Bitcoin regardless of how small or irrelevant it is. This is because these little feats can be used as means of publicity. And publicity and advertisement are what the Bitcoin space currently needs. There are still many locations that have not heard of or felt the impact of Bitcoin. The Guinness World Book of Records might be insignificant to us because we have a deeper knowledge of its operations but it might mean a lot to some people. This news has the tendency of attracting many people to the Bitcoin space.
I think I have to let more people know about this. Getting the picture of the award and posting it on social media wouldn't be a bad idea.

It's a good day for bitcoin today. Each bitcoin win should be celebrated because it was a victory against naysayers, haters, and those who wants bitcoin to die. Today, Guinness World Records have added Bitcoin and other blockchain events in its latest record book under a brand-new category called “Cryptomania". Bitcoin was included in the 2023 edition as the most valuable crypto with a market capitalization of $816.69 billion as well as being recognised for being the world’s first decentralised cryptocurrency after it launched in early 2009. CoinMarketCap reports that, Bitcoin’s market cap stood at $372,316,153,554. In addition, El Salvador also features in the book as the “first country to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender” last year. Good news indeed and well deserved too and even with all this great approvement and accreditations, we would still have people doubting whether Bitcoin is something you should get involved in. Source
As regards El Salvador, we have always said that was a good move by the president too even though it all seems like Bitcoin price has been taking a hit after their adoption, well, now also recognized and the first to do so. 13 years is still very early for Bitcoin and I believe that there will be a big adoption in future.

The marketcap figure is not correct if we know there are many bitcoins have been lost since 2009 and very most likely those bitcoins won't be recovered.
We can not know the exact number of lost bitcoins so that we can not calculate the absolute marketcap of total bitcoins left in circulating supply. Anyway it is still good to have a rough number for Bitcoin marketcap as it somewhat shows how big or small Bitcoin is in cryptocurrency market as well as in a comparison with other markets.
I don't mind about records, Guinness World Record for Bitcoin or cryptocurrency but in reality it is not harmful but helpful to spread Bitcoin news to more people. And it is a part of Bitcoin adoption journey that is long and has lot of things to achieve.

Speaking about lost coins then there are some reports saying 4 million coins lost but in actual we don't know the exact number and there can be more or less in future but circulation supply will never be 21 million coins due to these people who have lost their coins but as said they will boost up the prices more with rising demand.
