The government of every country wants to improve its own country.But countries that are lower middle income countries take a long time to develop.In our country the government has also done many important things in our country.But I don't think these are acts of following other nations.The important thing that the government has done in our country is that our country's communication system was very poor but now it has improved a lot. Apart from this, the government of our country has taken other important steps in the interest of the people.

For me, I don't blame the government for not doing what they are supposed to be doing since I am always responsible for my own actions. It is high time we understand what limit we should put ourselves so that we don't allow little things to make us to go into crime because the government is not doing accordingly to the obligation that is meant to be enforced. We need to stay responsible by all means and keep doing what will bring us good fortunes rather than keep blaming the government for it worse nightmares.

These and few more things you have mentioned in your post are the things that my government need to emulate. Although the op asked for good things to follow by another country but when they are absent in your country home then your government need to turn around and learn from other government on how they can do something right. The constitution of a country is important and a country that wants to go higher need to strengthen their constitution and be sure to punish offenders of the law.

Even though current one is trying to mess things up, they can't mess up everything during their time because of our consitution.

But good things would be, free healthcare, minimum wage, worker's rights, free education and our social security is pretty extensive. Those could be better but they makes cities more safe and create stability.

Freedom of the press has also been pretty good compared to other countries. Our unitary parliamentary republic system is something i am fond of and while we do have our problems and some problematic leaders, we have good basis for working things out. And it's not like countries work without a hitch, as people who build it are never perfect.

I guess i could list lots of specific things i was proud that our last government did, and some past govenrments did, but some of them can be undo by our current govenrment which i am not that proud of.
So i guess, if i would have to name one good thing, it would be that we are unitary parliamentary republic. That's pretty good foundation to build on.

I can't think of any as their good deed to the people.

It is hard but it is the truth and if we say giving health care, education, employment, transportation and whatever they are supposed to do and that is why we are paying the taxes for them and if not why should I be giving half or even more as tax to them?

And they failed badly, and try to keep the people busy with their problems so they can continue their dirty cat-and-mouse politics game.

Watching all the politics around the world, what I can say about are government is we have a comparatively free and fair elections. There are of course propaganda, misinformation, money flowing from and outside of the country during elections but there are not so much of election/ballot frauds, banning of the competing leader or calling the results a fake one.
One of the proof that my words are true is none of the ruling party have held onto their position for the last 15 years. And with every new election, there are changes and newer faces with newer promises but turns just into words after being elected. The economy is in shambles due to state corruption. Still we are optimistic things would get better after the next elections.

To  be honest, on top of my head i can not remember anything at least in the current administration all the current administration has done is reverse or make things that are already good as it is even worse

It has been bad news after bad news since the current administration took place none of the things that the elected officials promised have come true i do not really support the current officials but i am objective and obviously optimistic even if i did not agree with majority of the people who voted for these officials i have no problem giving a chance to these officials to prove me wrong but so far… it seems that the people who have voted these officials in place are the ones regretting now

My country really need to get some things in place such reducing to high percentage import of food products by reinforcing agricultural activities with a well established extention workers.

The government of my country have done so many bad things but few good ones for citizens. They are corrupt and spend extravagantly which has made the poor to become poorer and the rich richer. The removed subsidy on very certain basic needs has led to an increase in the price of goods and services.

But one good thing about the government is that they have continued to resist Western pressure to legalize some behaviour that is against the religious and cultural beliefs of most people in my country. Some economically strong nations have even threatened to stop giving loans and grants to our country if they refuse to legalize some of these behaviours. Rather than succumbing to these pressures they made laws to prohibit these culturally and religiously unacceptable behaviors. This stance by our government has made them to gain the support of most people in my country.

For the first time the government of my state gave civil servants Christmas allowance. This brought so much joy in the state and it made the holiday a memorable one.

While basic education and health care are free, I should be okay with all of those and grateful with what the government provides to us.

I am one of those that have enjoyed the basic and free education and with the other services even if I won't be the one to take all of those free ones or with subsidies but as long as I see people get to enjoy it, I'm already happ where my taxes are going.

As much as I think Joe Biden is incompetent and mentally unfit for office, one thing his administration did do was spend billions of dollars bringing fiber internet to rural communities. So now instead of paying $150/month for cable internet, I’m paying less than a hundred and have the capability of uploading at 5gbps. Sure, that’s overkill to the max and a horrible waste of money from the government, but I got to benefit from government spending and that’s rare.

You've already known that lots of people have so many negative things to say about their country compared to the good things they've done but for me I haven't seen any good thing my country did recently but I would rather commend my state government for giving the civil servants of my state December bonuses and some incentives during the Yuletide season so I commend the governor for that as it stood as a relief to so many civil servants that has devoted so much of their time and efforts in the course of their services to the state government as it is a welcome development so that's the only thing I can commend the government of my country in recent time.

To be honest, there has been literal years since this government of my country did something which I would say was a good idea and should be done as well by other republics around the world. The only thing I can recall happened several years ago, perhaps up to a decade.
The government wanted to the youth to have more access to technology and telecommunications, so they started a program for people to get affordable computers and internet connection, all of it sponsored by the state. It was the first chance people with little money had to buy a brand new computer and internet plan for them to navigate. It certainly helped a whole generation of teens and young adults to learn how to manage internet to ease their life.

Beides it, I cannot think anything my government did well, beyond running projects, spiking up corruption, covering up massacres, allowing crooks to flee the country with literal Gold bars, etc.
This is the kind of regime is supposed to disappear and never to be repeated again in this country or in any country which wish to achieve progress through time.
Not even mention the destruction of our national currency in less than two decades...

For the government of any country, there will be positive and negative problems that coexist. I always feel very grateful for the things that the government in the country I live in is doing a lot to help people, I can't say exactly what I feel is the best thing they've done. Things like having policy changes to help the country's economy develop rapidly, building educational and healthcare infrastructure, and even improving the quality of national defense, openness on religious issues, accepting scientific and technical advances,... there are many things that I get to live here. My generation of people we are grateful to the generations who sacrificed their lives to protect the country against invaders, but now we have become their friends again, there are so many changes that I I can feel from when I was a child to the present and the future that I can imagine the country will become a strong country.

I used to have memories of a very poor rural area where most people only lived by farming, but after about 10 years I returned to witness a transformation that no longer saw single houses. Instead, there are very tall houses with 2 to 3 floors. Really appreciate living in a country that has a good government system to manage and protect its people, although some small problems still exist but they will be changed and I believe the government will always lead people along a good path.

The country I come from is a place where the system of government we are practicing is not practiced judiciously but it is still not the worst case scenario when compared to other countries that practices same law with them. My country is a place where peace and unity thrives despite the many different ethnicity and religions, we are still living together as one. If other countries will want to emulate something from my country, it should be unity and peace. The bond is just too strong and unbreakable. For a country to progress, they have to learn to live together as one despite their differences. If there is no peace, nothing can grow in the country, from the grassroots to the head of the nation.

There is a lot of war in the world,  and if we can collectively defeat war and terrorism,  the world will be a better place,  and we can then fight for a system that works according to our own countries' peculiarities.

Why I mentioned security is because security is the bedrock of every economic growth and development in a country,  and if you have been following recent happening around the globe,  you will testify that we have had a lot of crises such as wars and attacks by terrorists and this is not a one country crisis cause terrorism is a global war.

Back to the topic of the best thing that countries should copy from my country,  it becomes a lot more confusing since in this part of the world we have a political system that does not work and can't be referenced which is why we advocate for global integration to help put something in order.

Most of us will have negative answer in regards to this topic but just wanted to understand what's your opinion on your country's current regime and I am sure there might be numerous negative stories about them but is there any good thing which they have done for the people which other countries should follow? like some rich arab government which pays their citizens and funds their education or Europe and western nations have minimum wage, etc.
