These are their words, "We don't have a crystal ball to know where the future is going to go with cryptocurrencies, but we've seen enough consumer harm or potential for consumer harm that it's an area that we want to approach with extreme caution.”

Does this really worth it? it quite clear that in this crypto business people get hurt everyday, for Bitcoin to decline from $19K+ to $8K+ this is a enough harm already, minding you that people invested when it was $19K what are their faith?
Crypto currency in general needs a form of regulation.
For Google banning crypto ads is very bad to the crypto ecosystem.

I think it is great news - lets get rid of the scammers trying to steal from the gullible by using the Bitcoin concept.

These measures will surely halt the massive growth of scum sites/services, but one also has to understand that Google & Co don't do it for that exact reason. It's mainly the fact that they are being forced to do this because of the risk of losing billions in ad revenue, and to a lower extent, the legal side. If the first mentioned wasn't really a problem, I very much doubt that they would even force through the changes they are forcing through in recent times. If they actually wanted to tackle the problem with scams and whatnot, they would have done it years ago already, and that out of free will. Large corporations can only be forced to do something when they are on the brink of losing billions of dollars in income, and that's exactly what we have seen happen here.

Google ban crypto ads.

Of course it will impact price. I think after G20 forum many things will changed
What happened to the G20, would this be a storm for crypto?
I am worried about this issue because the forum has the authority that will affect the current bitcoin price.

What I really see is; actually it is a good move from Google. Google want to protect this crypto communities. There are tons of ICO scams lately with a very great marketing ads with a big budget.
Google want to avoid and protect that hence the crypto communities will be a really clean and not always be associated from those bastard.
It's should be treated as a good news really.

Another bad news against cryptocurrencies. The price of BTC along with other cryptocurrencies is already going down these days. This type of negative news against crypto will decline the price further more. It has been 3 months now since the decline of BTC. It has been going down day by day and as the article says it is quite true that we don't know how the future of crypto will be.  So it's better to be alert and take the necessary steps before anything bad happens.

It would definitely be bad for cryptocurrencies to have another bad news to circulate. Like what you said, the future of Bitcoin lies in the hands of the investors yet there are many attacks that's been done to bring down this currency. These kind of news should be neglected and we have to continue to share our knowledge to the society about Bitcoin.

If Google was a member here, I'd give them a couple of merits for this action. Smiley

Really appreciate the fact that Google stepped it up, in line with Facebook and completely banned crypto related ads, especially ICOs. In this world of cryptos, there is no surety whether a given project could be legitimate , and Google ads drive massive traffic. Let alone theymos, who disallowed ICO to be showcased on ad slots here, this move is definitely going to prevent a lot of scams from happening.

I don't think if it has any impact on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. At least it shouldn't have any. Most services which were advertised on Facebook and Google were services which promised quick profit or easy mining available for everyone. Overall, I think it will have positive effect on Bitcoin appearance.

I do not understand the reason, but it will affect the price of bitcoin, it seems to me it's a conspiracy against bitcoin
It did affected the price already but it's not the mere reason why the price went down so fast.
There are many things that we can consider if you'll study the charts for a little bit of time.

I do not think that this will happen, but if it does happen, then this forum will be the only place where people will be able to find out information about cryptocurrencies and new projects.
It will happen soon but you are mistakenly understand it that it's only for paid ads.
You can still use them to search those crypto's of your choice.

I think this is good, we can create good marketing and avoid those "invest on bitcoin and get rich next month ads". We need more smart people investing in Crypto and this is going to help.

Perhaps because of a lot of the regulatory laws of ICO and cryptocurrency are not sound, technology and rules are more complex, leading to many frauds!

Google suspension of encryption money advertising, and other relevant laws, may continue to resume advertising!

You ask why Google does not ban the crypto ads right now that have to wait until June or not? Smiley)). As FUD appeared and articles aimed at lowering the current crypto rate were also FOMO followed and massed together, from Facebook to Google banned ads related to ICO. I think that in mid-April the market will grow and recover very quickly.

How the impact of this issue.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/google-to-ban-all-crypto-related-ads-starting-june-2018

whether this drama will affect the price of Bitcoin. Huh

I don't think so, or at least it shouldn't affect the price in any manner, since it's not really directly related to bitcoin. Of course that looking in the past, and remembering that the Facebook add ban could had some impact on crypto price, since it was dumping at that time, we just can't say for sure.

Truth is, that the market is dumping again. Is it related to this announcement? I really can't believe in that anymore. I think some guys are dumping their coins, and timing it with every piece of supposed bad news, to magnify their impact on the markets. Maybe they just want to hurt btc, maybe they want to manipulate it's price in order to buy again at a lower price. Who knows. I had enough of this, and I just don't care anymore. I will hold my coins, because LN is coming, regulation is being favorable, so adoption should follow.
I am tired of the manipulations that cause bitcoin to collapse.
I really want to be angry, they deliberately monopolize everything to shake up the market. These ways must be resisted and the bitcoin holders are getting smarter not to panic and help them with their panic.

At least maybe now people will stop buying ads to show on the front page with phishing sites or referral links. Crypto community only has to gain with this decision.
