Google rules the internet, nothing is illegal for google. Like it or not, Google will spy you wherever you are, wheter you are shiiting or surfing doesnt matter. All you can do is to live an internet free life, which I dont think is poossible for anyone...

In fact, everyone spying us, not just Google.
Our browsers collect info about our searching on the Internet, sites we visit also collect info about us, our Internet providers, company websites we visit etc.
Even offline companies do this, so I don't see any reason for surprise here, it's common knowledge and practice.
Ask Snowden how much our governments spying us and US government is on the top of it.
If we want to avoid spying only solution will be to come back in the stone age or live in the forest Smiley

Easy to spy on people these days by setting up guidelines in what data is important to them. People are also engrained to click agree with terms of service without reading, so very easy to achieve.

Why is it so important that someone is able to spy? I guess people overestimate themselves thinking that someone is really interested in wasting time exploring smb's life

Really we stand up now for the next generation, its to late for any current generation as they have been fed a narrative that you give up certain aspects of freedom for the greater good. If the next generation keeps with the agenda,it will not be long till our fridges release on a timer and box of food slides out for our portions with a side cup of medications.
The whole attack on what we do in our lives is to push us a better product but that feels like the mask issue and the real issue is to get us more reliant on their product to control us more and more.
Damn T.V listening to me talking at it about what crap it has on selection,I am starting to see why Elvis kept shooting them. Ahead of his time!

This is bad.
In my country for example. they listen to everything we say and write the phone

If you talk to someone on the phone and pronounces the word "bomb" "War" "manifestation" in a few minutes the police are at your house to ask you.

People are limited, they can not express their thoughts because they fear being repressed

Like u r doing something illigal and wish to hide it. Well, i don't care.

Since you have nothing to hide, you won't mind if we show your mother your pornography habits right?

I am really worried about how a potentially new blockchain/new currency could be used and implemented to control us all. Unfortunately that is a very scary downside.

You do not care because you are not grasping the issue at hand or are to far down the road of thought policing.
This issue will slowly sway public action and dictate what people know about any one topic.

Yes, and so does facebook. You have to block their cookies individually.
Block all cookies from:
google.com
google.de
google.es
google.fr
google.it
...
Add top domain level from every country where you travel.
Block also
googleadservices.com
facebook.com
twitter.com
And you should be quite safe. You may also use Tor.

TOR wont protect you from tracking, it will only anonymize your IP.

Isn't anonymazing your IP is the same as protecting you from tracking? I mean because they wouldn't know whom they are tracking?

Also I have a questing about what's wrong with using gmail?

It depends on what type of tracking you mean. The short answer is no, it doesn't. Your browser fingerprint can be tracked via things like the addons and extensions you use, the fonts installed on your computer, and other factors which make a fairly unique marker to track you with. Each computer processor also has a unique identification number embedded in the hardware which can be used to track your online activities. As far as what is wrong with using Gmail, it is a Google product. Using any Google product or service pretty much guarantees you have no privacy or anonymity because they go to great lengths to track you and collect personal information.

Unless the one who is anonymizing the IP also send all the needed info to google as well.

You're good  Smiley

That helps, but things like browser fingerprinting and other hidden tracking mechanisms for example like Verizon uses still allows them to track you. To be sure you are anonymous on the internet now days you pretty much need to buy a computer with cash from a retailer that doesn't have cameras, use it once for one single purpose use, connect to a public open wifi connection (again without being on camera) using a double VPN (in and out) paid for with Bitcoin and that does not keep records, use a proxy, and then never use it again. True anonymity is not easy (or cheap).
