government all over the world don't trust because they see it as a threat to fiat currency which they have control over. government normally don't support anything they can not control
Exactly because they are slowly losing power over the people and if you can't control a population anarchy would ensure, right? That is what they would have you believe, but they are more scared not because of anarchy but because most governments don't want their citizens to be free. And when you type or say that out loud it sounds pretty damn messed up, but it isn't incorrect sadly Undecided.

Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?

Not all governments hate or doesn't trust bitcoin. Japan and South Korea are the examples of the countries that encourages the industry of cryptocurrency to be part of the society. These countries promote technological progress and maximizes the use of it in the market. Hopefully in the near future, other countries will see the potential of this innovation in our life.
But no matter how hard they limit the development of bitcoin, it can not stop the growing interest of the people of the world who are very interested in this new system. Bitcoin is a technological development that cannot be dammed its development, this system is very profitable.

Because it's still new. And actually a solid percentage of bitcoin users still don't 'trust' bitcoin.
Totally agree. Not even the bitcoin users trust Bitcoins. The banks hate BTC from every aspects. And the government have a good and healthy relationship with the banks. No wonder many governments don't trust the Bitcoin or crypto coins or the blockchain technology.

When you have a network system that is directly a possible replacement to the current financial system or will it one day ruin the grip and control you have, would you trust it in the first place? In fact I should change the word to threat to be more precise. Governments generally won't endorse or accept bitcoin for that matter and they will do anything to prevent that from happening.

Because no government can control it or wish to control it. Besides many people use this online currency to do evil work such as money-laundering, buying-Selling weaponry and many more.

There is a pretty dangerous loss! Anonymity is the cause of corruption, the spread of drugs and other illegal things. In addition, the crypto currency is very similar to bubbles.

I think the government does not want to recognize blockchain technology so they do not trust bitcoin and blockchain, hopefully for the future they want to open the eyes of the benefits of blockchain technology.

They think that Bitcoin is a sorce of making false money and it will end fiat currency. Government will have to suffer from majir financial losses. That is the reason thst Bitcoin is hated by some people.

The government announced a severe ban on the use of virtual currency (cryptocurrency) such as bitcoin as a means of transaction and payment in Indonesia.

The government is afraid of decentralization. Since they will lose control over finances and most of the officials will not be needed. In addition, governments depend on banks. Banks dictate their terms. They also do not need decentralization.

May be because they can't regulate it nor put taxes on it so they fear that they lose the money that they are never been part of working with. Fortunately other countries like Japan, Estonia, and Singapore are friendly to this innovation. I still hope that other nations can still give this technology a chance to prove itself in the economy.

I live in Paris. We have already legalized cryptocurrencies and I am proud in this regard for my country. Thank You.

Congratz for your country.
At least the number of government that accepts and legalized bitcoin increase time by time.
I hope more country can find benefit behind cryptocurrency and blockchain.I think if they wanna search it they will find it because there is so many benefit we can get from blockchain technology.

Very true. What uniques bitcoin and the cryptocurrency is the technology behind it. Its the blockchain technology. And because of it, a quite number of believers and investors are still indeed investing in cryptocurrencies. But unfortunately, some people did not consider it as what it should be and what is its features, like investing immediately because its the trend. It is a very bad action done. Considering the benefits of blockchain technology in the world we are stepping into, it is exceptional.

if you see until now there is a difference of opinion between government and bitcoin and this will be an obstacle for bitcoin holders but there are already some countries that legalize its existence and this is very helpful something to imitate because this country is greatly assisted by bitcoin and hopefully my country soon legalize it and function as a source of state income Wink

Governments in many countries have imposed heavy management regulations on Bitcoin, arguing that it and other electronic currencies could be used for illegal activities. But that is just a phobia for the fact that Bitcoin is an intermediary exchange that is out of their control.
That is right, they are just afraid with the fact that bitcoin will be soon replace fiat and that fact that it can manipulate the price and that people were just fooling around and that they are just wasting their money, well in fact we are all thinking like that way in our time so it is just normal hope that they will change their mind.

Government believes in a stable system and bitcoin is a bit too volatile to have the credit of financial institutions across the world not to say the government.
