@inkha - haven't set it up on my new PC yet but will try to find time to do so too!  Are you planning to have GP as actual in-game currency, or just something that can be traded for Gold in-game?
@Tony128 - I certainly hope so!  The potential's always been there.

I'm just going to run with it, there's a few other private servers that have been up for several years that don't seem to be having any issues. It's a way older version of the game so it seems they don't mind, and it gives people a place to play it. Smiley

Okay cool - my offer to write quests for it from however long ago it was still stands!  Wink

Are you using the same map as I remember from back then?

Yeah you got java installed? It only requires the jre and we could meet up in the game and brainstorm some quest ideas!

@inkha Nice to see that you're still around and working on this. Hope this is the beginning of an upwards trend again for GoldPieces.

Hey guys I think I've setup the RSC server in a way that will be expandable. We tried this once but it wasn't able to handle more than 5-10 people on at a time. This time I've got a bigger server and a way to add resources as needed. I'm working on the web-based character manager that will allow trading in game currency to GP and vice versa.

To join in download the jar file and run it from command line "java -jar halhan-rsc.jar" you will need to install Java JRE if you don't have it already. To create a new account just login with the username and password you would like to use after clicking existing user, it will create your user automatically.

This is great news dev!

Do you have a video of the demo so we can watch and see what this game is all about. I can then use that video to promote GP on social media. Good to see that things are slowly progressing here and I look forward to the future with GP.

I will create a video and some tutorials after the first couple quest are created and the website is live. Cheers!

That would be Awesome! Thanks dev! Also it's good to see the website is now live and I look forward to the tutorials and video demo of the game. It's been a great day as people have been selling off their GP so I was happy enough to take some off their hands as almost all my buy orders were filled.

Inkha that screenshot looks like your old Inkhascape game which used Runescape (2005?) which I thought you had to cancel due to copyright issues for the Runescape software - could you update on the current situation please?  Are you using something else that looks the same or is copyright of the game engine no longer an issue?

Thank you for the updates. I too prefer Cryptopia as one of my favourite exchanges and will be keeping an eye on this one and will be filling my bag as and when i can. Good luck with developments and bright future ahead!!

Cryptopia has most of our volume now and is a great exchange, CoinExchange.io seems great as well! Cheers

I dont believe the price will rise much higher because of 5x staking it has.  The coins with such a higher staking have already almost vanished.

Inflation for GP is very low, it is closer to 5-10% than it is to 500%. The price goes between 500-5000 occasionally but as for the coin itself there has been nothing new developed for it in the years I've used it so I have stopped expecting anything.

That's right the inflation is low as the maximum amount per stake we can earn is 2.5 GP coins even though it says 500%. This is why this coin seems to hold it's price around the range CryptoDatabase said. All we need is for the dev to release some developments and the price will go a lot higher but until then I guess the price will stay around the same price range.

Yes the inflation rate is much lower than we originally expected due to the 2.5 GP reward cap! GP will stand strong, the new few months will be our best!

Thanks for the reinsurance dev! I'm really looking forward to seeing what new developments will be released towards the end of this year. I hope then 2018 will be the year for GP and that is why I continue to accumulate as many GP each week even if it's a small amount as every little bit adds up and also adds to my staking weight.

There does seem to be some support for GP and I'm sure once the dev starts releasing what he has been working on the buy support for this coin will start to pick up some more.

Do you have any evidence for this? The roadmap posted in July looked really promising, which is why I invested as well, but ever since then communication from the developers side has pretty much disappeared it seems.

Well the support I see is the price going up and holding steady at around 1k sats. Not sure about the dev though as I have posted many times in here that the dev needs to have better communication with the community. I also put some btc into this coin because of the roadmap and at that time the dev was active posting in here but since then it has dried up so I am hoping he is working on developments for the coin.
