While we're working on getting the game finished, here's a video from an early part of Captain Disaster in Death Has a Million Stomping Boots (sponsored by GoldPieces) - sorry I don't know how to embed it in the post...

In the meantime I hope Inkha's RPG can get going, and that GP price will continue to solidify around 3K sats or higher (5K would be nice, seemed likely at one point but not quite sure now).

If anyone else has a GP-related project in the works please don't feel shy telling us about it!  Smiley
Well, here's a wallet release, mainly for the new seed node and presstabs Stake Split Threshold RPC!
https://github.com/Settlings/GoldPieces/releases/tag/v1.1

Also has an up to date bootstrap.

Should help anyone having connection troubles or downloading the blockchain!

I'd like to continue inkhas work on one of his projects, but he hasn't been around much... I'll have to try to get in touch with him again!

Hey, your wallet is great!  I'm glad someone is finally cleaning up that old buggy mess, and adding in the splitblock tool and stakesplitthreshold command (they were sorely needed!).

Inkha needs to make your wallets the "official" versions on the ANN.  Hell, he might as well make you an official member of the dev team as you seem to be the only one taking the initiative to improve this stuff.

You should put a GP address in your signature.  I'm sure there are some community members out there who would be happy to send you donations to show their gratitude.

On an unrelated note, this pump is a thing of beauty!

Hi,

I was just wondering why the wallet is under maintenance on YoBit? Have they been contacted to fix it? I have GP on there that I'd like to withdraw.

I sent a support ticket and they've said that no updated source code has been sent to them.

Thanks!

I cant really believe they still haven't fixed this issue on their side?! I browsed my closed support tickets and found the first one sent by me and it is dated on 21st July 2016. So almost 9 months have past since than and this is still an "open" problem? They must be joking, right?! I feel sorry for those who wants to withdraw their coins but unable to do so. But hey at least they responded. I progress has been made?

I got a pretty fast reply so it could have been automated.

Just sent a request!   There haven't been any mandatory updates so something might have happened on their end.

Here are some screenshots of the upcoming game,

[lots of cool stuff]

Looks great- looking forward to it!

Brilliant - cheers!

Pending GP claims have been sent. The Cryptobe block explorer is a couple hundred blocks behind so not sure what is going on with them but link below.

Thanks psybits, that's good to know!

(Anyone know what "BNT" means btw?!?  Embarrassed)

Also does anyone know if there's an optimum size for inputs?  Staking seems slower for me than it was using the old method (or is that true for everyone?)

Blacknova traders (BNT) is a classic browser spaced mmo strategy game Wink That CryptoDatabase is emulating this game is a great sign for the underground success of HYPER and GP.

As part of the HYPER relaunch CryptoDatabase is working on a new space strategy game that will also use GP. It looks promising:

The new HYPER wallet should be finished soon hopefully, ended up just going with the current code and modifying the specifications on it after many failed tests with other sources.

I'll know more about the new wallet in about 7 hours hopefully.

For my stuff, I'm just working on a few websites someone ordered. 1 is done already and 2 more are left.

I've also been working on a new game at the same time called Valerian Universe. It will be similar in gameplay to DKV but space themed and a different game style. Will also have a sort of BNT feel to it in a way. Coded from scratch and a lot has been done on it so far. It isn't playable yet, I'm currently working on the battle code and then the drone factory stuff but after that it should be ready for alpha testing.

Here's some screenshots,

http://prntscr.com/es38nk
http://prntscr.com/es39sc
http://prntscr.com/es3a9e

The same coins will be used in it excluding Scorecoin and Rubies.

Once Alpha is available I'll need some testers to play for a week or two so I can get an idea of what players can achieve to base the exchange on.

Would like to point out for potential customers however it was 0.04 BTC not 0.4!

Oops sorry yes, if it had actually been 0.4BTC I could never have afforded it - apologies for my slip of the finger there!  Embarrassed

Well, here's a wallet release, mainly for the new seed node and presstabs Stake Split Threshold RPC!
https://github.com/Settlings/GoldPieces/releases/tag/v1.1

Could you explain this in a little more detail please?

Stakes are now split based on their value instead of age. To change it from the default, go to the console and use the command 'setstakesplitthreshold '. To see the current value use the command 'getstakesplitthreshold'.

Previously, when you would stake an input it would split if the age was under a day old (minus min stake age).  This meant only large or lucky inputs were splitting.  Now only the value of the input matters for splitting.  Here's the HYP explanation of stakesplitthreshold: http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#What_is_setstakesplitthreshold_and_how_to_use_it.3F

Thanks for catching the block explorer! I'll pm you about payments!

Thank you so much!  Thanks for the explanation of the staking too.

Okay I have now paid for the Block Explorer hosting for another 12 months.

Proof: http://invoices.cryptobe.com/e0039adf3f77ac7498b0e98e9f6f547b5e764523
It was 0.4BTC in the end.  Thanks CryptoBE!

The block explorer will, I presume, remain at http://cryptobe.com/chain/GoldPieces
Please note that there is no Rich List.  If anyone would really like this feature perhaps they could get in touch with Scorpianz directly.

If anyone would like to donate towards the cost (since I am not exactly loaded with money!), you can send some GP to this address: GSkxXGESPECEzhQQNT9c9oVGRMQCDyBpXD
Thanks for the acknowledgement, great on time payment and easy to work with. Would like to point out for potential customers however it was 0.04 BTC not 0.4!
Also for the Richlist we can add one of course, and if anyone is interested I can see if I can do a good deal.
Thanks again!
