Well, here's a wallet release, mainly for the new seed node and presstabs Stake Split Threshold RPC!
https://github.com/Settlings/GoldPieces/releases/tag/v1.1

Could you explain this in a little more detail please?

Stakes are now split based on their value instead of age. To change it from the default, go to the console and use the command 'setstakesplitthreshold '. To see the current value use the command 'getstakesplitthreshold'.

Previously, when you would stake an input it would split if the age was under a day old (minus min stake age).  This meant only large or lucky inputs were splitting.  Now only the value of the input matters for splitting.  Here's the HYP explanation of stakesplitthreshold: http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#What_is_setstakesplitthreshold_and_how_to_use_it.3F

Thanks for catching the block explorer! I'll pm you about payments!

Okay I have now paid for the Block Explorer hosting for another 12 months.

Proof: http://invoices.cryptobe.com/e0039adf3f77ac7498b0e98e9f6f547b5e764523
It was 0.4BTC in the end.  Thanks CryptoBE!

The block explorer will, I presume, remain at http://cryptobe.com/chain/GoldPieces
Please note that there is no Rich List.  If anyone would really like this feature perhaps they could get in touch with Scorpianz directly.

If anyone would like to donate towards the cost (since I am not exactly loaded with money!), you can send some GP to this address: GSkxXGESPECEzhQQNT9c9oVGRMQCDyBpXD

Ah man sorry to hear that, I know you put so much work into that game.  Cry

Over 2 years of constant updates excluding a few breaks, really sucks to see this happen but the worst part of it is the missing balance data. Going to be a royal pain in the ass to process all the claims and verify everything but has to be done.

Sorry to hear this Sad Really liked your game.

BTW the renewal price is a bit more than I thought it would be, would anyone be willing to drop a few GP my way to help with the cost?  (it's equivalent to approx 1,400GP at current prices).  If so I'll go ahead and pay it, but it's a bit more than I can manage at the moment otherwise.

Dragon Knights of Valeria has been closed due to a loss of data. I have tried my best to restore it but my backups were not complete. A lot of the data was recovered but certain vital tables were lost. I was able to restore an older version of Crypto Database though. Accounts created past the restore point will have to register again.

Exchange, Deposit, and other information for DKV was recovered but the users and vault tables were not. I have compiled a list of deposits to the game since February 1, 2017 and these will be returned to the senders once a withdrawal address has been provided.

I tried my best to get DKV back online but was unable to. I am truly sorry this happened and will do my best to make things right. Claims will take a while to process and verify so please bear with me.

Please visit this forum link to make your claim for deposits or balances, http://cryptodatabase.net/forum/index.php?topic=2.msg2#msg2

For anyone is still holding the coin, CryptoBE will be removing the Gold Pieces block explorer within 30 days. If someone wants to offer to pay a small hosting fee to keep it up for one more year, please PM me.

In the meantime I hope Inkha's RPG can get going, and that GP price will continue to solidify around 3K sats or higher (5K would be nice, seemed likely at one point but not quite sure now).

If anyone else has a GP-related project in the works please don't feel shy telling us about it!  Smiley

Also has an up to date bootstrap.

Should help anyone having connection troubles or downloading the blockchain!

I'd like to continue inkhas work on one of his projects, but he hasn't been around much... I'll have to try to get in touch with him again!

In the absence of any replies / news atm, I'll just share a couple of screenshots from my GP-sponsored game - how the screens in the demo compare with the same locations in the full game, which is edging ever closer to full release.

This:

and this:

is now:

Just little changes and of course the static screens don't really tell the full story, but if anyone has played the demo (which has been around for absolutely ages now!) just be assured that the quality of everything in the game has been enhanced since then.

Today I have submitted my design for the very final puzzle in the game to my coder, who may or may not want to order an angry wasp swarm to attack me for making him work out how to actually make my idea work.

I'm hoping to create a way for anyone interested to buy the game directly with GP - I don't think it will be an automated system though, probably I'll just set up a wallet specifically for it and it will have to be a direct transfer with everything communicated here via Private Message. Feel free to ping me if you might be interested in doing this.

You can follow progress of the game at the Dev Blog, or if you're feeling extremely generous (and would like to have a free copy of the game prior to official release) then you could support my Patreon campaign.  Otherwise, just wait and I'll let you know when things start happening.  Wink

In the meantime I hope Inkha's RPG can get going, and that GP price will continue to solidify around 3K sats or higher (5K would be nice, seemed likely at one point but not quite sure now).

Excellent news.

Do you have any updates about your RPG?

Quick update on the status of GP-sponsored point and click adventure game Captain Disaster in Death Has a Million Stomping Boots - basically, we're going to release the full game instead of split it up into 2 parts.  This means a bit more waiting for the release, but we think it's a better option all round, and are looking at streamlining the process of finishing the game so it should take only around 6 months.

Details here - http://www.captaindisasterthecomputergame.com/2017/03/stomping-boots-story-so-far.html

Are we forked?  Block explorer not updating, Bittrex not updating, and I'm staking blocks MUCH faster than usual on my local wallet.

Block explorer and wallet are working fine for me, which wallet version are you using?

1.0.0.1 from here https://github.com/palmd/GoldPieces/releases

What block explorer are you using?  http://cryptobe.com/chain/GoldPieces is stuck at block 1188621

I use cryptobe and currently their block explorer is at 1188800 which is the same as my wallet.

You might have to clear your cache for their site or reload the url without pressing ctrl+r or f5 as their cache system is messing with its real data.

False alarm!  Turns out my ISP was acting up.  I had a horrible internet connection so the singular node I was connected to and I went off on our own fork, and it looks like I was seeing cached data from cryptobe and bittrex.

Thanks for the fast reply regardless.
