TL;DR: You can cash most coins out. BTC-e.com, bter.com, and vircurex.com will convert your alt coins back to BitCoin.

Of these, bter.com would appear to have the most favorable fee structure.  The others charge BTC0.01 to withdraw; bter.com charges only a tenth of that. Bitparking offered the same rates...too bad it shut down.

GPU isn't dead for Scrypt Mining.

Indeed. While waiting for BFL to deliver, I picked up a 6870 off of Bitmit. I've only had it running a month or so, but at BTC0.7, I think it's already paid for itself.  Cool

Well, as long as you can liquidate right? Or buy some goods with whatever coin fits your fancy.
If only Hermes accepts BTC/LTC.  I would mine my ass off for a new real world wallet!

I think if there are no jumps generation with the gpu in a few months will no longer be useful to undermine ... it will only take asic

Agreed, I've recently dropped bitcoin in favour of alt coins for mining.

as soon as the asics kick in gpu mining will be worthless.

That only applies to SHA256 mining though. Scrypt mining is exempt from asic miners.

There's always a place for GPU mining while scrypt exists and no ASIC equivalent for it.

You can try CNC coin too, a 1 week old new coin but already traded in BTC-E in same volume as LTC.

Litecoin will be on gox soon.

It will skyrocket,

Transaction are more quick than bitcoin, and it's asic proof.

Litecoin is the futur, in technology, all is fast.

Yes Ericksson t25's and nokia 8210 was good phone. But now it's finish, we have iphone.

www.dustcoin.com also has good comparisons for most of the major(ish) coins and what return you can expect from mining.

Ok, cool.  thanks for your help Kruncha!

Lastly... if you know... can litecoins be cashed in like BitCoins?  Litecoins seem far more stable.

Stack... Thanks for your opinion.  You don't think Litecoin would be wise?  My other thoughts were selling my GPU's as i got them for cheap and could make a ok profit with their current selling prices...and completely walk away from mining.
Most new coins can easily be cashed in, or even easier, converted to BitCoins. http://www.coinchoose.com/  will show which coin will [currently] earn more BitCoin compared to others. Example: Litecoin is currently at ~150% profitability, meaning you'll earn earn more BitCoin by mining LiteCoin then selling for BitCoin, than you would mining straight BitCoin..... If that makes any sense. They all have exchanges where you can cash out in the "Exchange" column.
TL;DR: You can cash most coins out. BTC-e.com, bter.com, and vircurex.com will convert your alt coins back to BitCoin.

GPU isn't dead for Scrypt Mining.
