Wait, those a$$holes rerererelaunched already? It was supposed to be later this evening? http://www.altcoincalendar.info/coins/110-GPUC
And to think I was there with you through all those fails, and I still have millions of these useless coins.
You haven't missed anything. The block reward is only 1 coin until we reach block 2600. We're only on  block 1680 ATM.

PS: You'll need to delete all your old wallet info and download the new one.

Hi, block reward is still only 1 GPUC per block, "real" launch is in a few hours.

Toss me a few thousands k?

And now my question...solo mining it Smiley

I have set up my bat file to connct to 127.0.0.1:6857 (I have also added this as the RPC port to the wallet conf file), and this is what I get:

https://i.imgur.com/1qPSjVB.gif

Accepteds is showing as 0, but I do see a "best share" value. Is this thing actually mining?

Rit.

Yup
accepted 0 hardware error 1

Yep, it's the 0 accepted I'm worrying about. Rewards are obviously zero at the moment, which is fine, but am I actually finding any blocks? I can't bloody tell Smiley

Accepted will only come in when you actually solve a block.  Until that point, there is nothing to see!

So what time approx. GMT are we going to get full rewards?

I figure 12am EST, add what, 5 hours to that, looking like 15 hours from now

Still?
I saw people talking about 12 hours from then 6 hours ago!

Ok I've done my pro-bono mining already, joinin back in a few hours...

4 out of 5 of my miners just show

"Error -5: Enqueing Kernel onto command queue. "

Any ideas.

One miner is fine, 2 miners have one card working and show this error for the other cards, 2 miners show "OFF" for all cards and this error

Thanks
If you have multiple cards and some are shown as "off" you need to add a device setting to your bat and/or conf file. IE: if you have 4 cards you need to add -d 0,1,2,3 to your bat file. If you are using a conf file you need to add "device" : "0,1,2,3"  Adding it to the conf file is a little tricky. Add the text at the bottom between the last entry and the } at the end. This it what it looks like in my conf file.

"kernel-path" : "user/local/bin",
"device" : "0,1,2,3"
}

Spacing is critical so make sure it matches exactly. Hope this helps someone.

Hello everybody,

does anyone know how does p2pool know how many coin there is in a block?

I started mining now because PPLNS is based on share so mining 6hour at 150khs will give me the same amount of share than mining with 6x150khs when 20k coin block will be out. But is there a formula to update in p2pool or it will automatically detect the 20k coin block and automatically calculate new payout via PPLNS ratio with share already done?
What I mean: is number of coin in block hardcoded in p2pool or just "detected"?
It is taken from the last block which was found on the network (not just the pool) and it makes the assumption the next will have the same amount of coin (never had any problem on pandacoin for which the reward was random).

"never had any problem on pandacoin for which the reward was random"

Eh fine then, thank you.

OK, so you have 2 cards. You'll need to mod your bat file to include settings for both, something like:

Code:
vertminer.exe --scrypt-vert -o (pool info)  -I 20,20 -w 256,256 --lookup-gap 2,2 --thread-concurrency 8193,8193 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500 --gpu-engine 1000,1000 --gpu-powertune +20,+20

PLEASE don't use that one as-is - I pulled it as an example from a reddit thread, and it probably won't match your card (although it might). You can see that the values are seperated by commas, one setting for each card. I only have 1 GPU myself, so I am no expert, but been reading up in anticipation of my second one arriving later this month.

Rit.

You only need to have different settings for multiple cards if they are different GPU e.g 290x and 280x

mine both work fine from the example .bat file I posted

I stand corrected - thank you for that info, it's useful for me as well Smiley
That + sign in front of the 20 for gpu-powertune could also be a problem. Not needed. The setting is + by default.
