Awesome! Thanks for your hard work!!!!

I just want to say that I really do think this coin is going places. I've been around for awhile (though I always mine/read and never post...)

#1 - You're extremely well communicated to the community. Even if an issue were to arise, as long as the dev's let us know what's happening, people don't freak, dump and flee! lol
#2 - One of the first NON-SCAM IPO's!!! This speaks volumes!
#3 - Scrypt-n (Vertminer) which will really take this coin to a better long-term price & stabilization, rather than the classic pump and dump. Just look at VTC and how well it's done, compared to just another Scrypt...
#4 - TANGIBLE ASSETS BACKED! By using the 71.51BTC ($40,000) IPO income to purchase GPU's, for once this is a REAL INVESTMENT with REAL CAPITAL, INVESTORS & ECONOMY!
#5 - Online Store for one of the most IN DEMAND PRODUCTS (GPU's) in all Technology available today!!!
#6 - Amazing dev's!
#7 - Dev's actually LISTEN to the community!!!

I know I could list many more, but this is just my own summary of why this coin will outperform nearly every other P&D Scrypt coin out there right now. Seriously, I commend you guys for a job WELL done. I can't say enough how glad I am that the Scrypt-n won. It will prevent a huge instamine flood of rental gear workers for simple P&D. From experience, please do not lack in trying to get as MUCH MARKETING EXPOSURE out there as possible, even if it means many many community funded bounties.

can't wait! got my IPO in in time too, woo! it really exploded right there near the end, it's over 70BTC now! that's 35 grand worth of graphic cards at worst!

by the way, to the developers, for the 290 and 290x cards, NOBODY WANTS STOCK COOLERS. people want whatever brand has:

A) the best cooling solution
B) the best (longest) warranty
C) unlocked voltage (this isn't necessary, because we can flash the GPU bios with VBE7 easily enough)

but please of god PLEASE do not get any STOCK COOLER 290 or 290x cards! big trainwreck waiting to happen, they run EXTREMELY HOT, and the fan noise is unbearable over %50.

honestly i would never stock anything but nice 3rd party cooler cards. stock blower fans are garbage, and lead to buyers remorse when people see the temps, hear the noise, and then find out that they should have gotten one with 2 or 3 fans...

if you agree with this, please repost this and +1! i want this coin to succeed, so i want the community to have their say in exactly what cards we're looking for! (personally the toxic, windforce, or twinfrozrs always perform best IMO)

IPO chart is finished.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know if there are any discrepancies so we can handle them before any coins go out this week.  I know 3 people over here checked over everything, but some times things slip by.

Vert miner is compatible and since it's so well documented there shouldn't be any issues with people setting up their miners.  Ill post links in the OP for people to figure out their setups.

Do you know if SGminer works for scrypt-n or will we have to use vert miner ?

Also with regards to cards can we get we some 290 tri-x's and 280x Toxics ?

IPO final chart has been checked, double checked, and triple checked.  That was much longer than I expected and I'm still not done.  I'm going to port everything over to HTML and update the site accordingly.  I really want to sleep, but I guess that's not happening.
We appreciate all your hard work for this coin!

keep on the good work... Cheesy

If the premine is scrypt and the launch is scrypt-n will this create an issue for the premined coins?

I don't believe so, a chain is a chain; could be wrong. Great question.

And for everyone who voted for N, considering ScryptN will cut most hashpower in half, better hope it was worth it lol.

Everybody is halved, so nothing changes.
You should try to mine Maxcoin, it uses m/s lol..

The same could be said about you and your 1 card. This is big boy land. Play hard. Do your best with your 1 card. A 7950 should be mining at 715kh.

I have never heard of a 7950 get 715khash. Most I have heard of is 650, and I can get up to 642 on my 7950, and maybe the occasional little uprising. Can you show a reference getting 715?

That was taken a few days ago. Same system is still running with 0 issues. Now imagine racks of them.

ASRock 970 EX4, Sempron 145, 2GB ram
Seasonic 850
MSI 7950's
BAMT 1.3, cgminer 3.7.3, Modified scrypt kernel

Engine: 1145
Memory: 1500
Power/Intensity: 20

Each card pulls around 240w.

Here's a screenshot I just took of my 2x Asus 280x TOP cards (same as your 7950's), undervolted and underclocked. This is their 24x7 rate (however they're in my main PC so not quite as well cooled), not just a momentary snapshot as you can see. I spent a LOT of  time tweaking the max out of these. I also run a modified SCRIPT.cl & modified .bat files for increased performance.

These cards are pretty good, but they don't hold a candle to my 2nd rig that powers 3x Sapphire TRI-OC 290's @ a steady 2700KH/s (890-906KH/s each!) With my other 2 rigs included I run 5MH/s but man some guys running warehouses of 200+MH/s make my systems look like child's play! lol. Can't wait to buy more with the IPO funds I purchased! Smiley

280X are 7970. The 280 (without X) was supposed to be a 7950 but never came out.

Very nice hash there! If any developers or fellow miners want to chat, there is a small group on Freenode #gpucoin

Cutting hashpower in half may only be an issue for the network in terms of processing transactions but not likely from what I can gather. Whether it is SHA3, scrypt or scrypt-n, your share from mining will simply be a result of your % of the total network hashrate. Of course, these results vary in the short term by pool "luck". But long term it should be a constant rate.

what program can i use to CPU mine scrypt-n

I'm assuming cgminer, but not sure. I have the same question. Would you set up cgminer the same for scrypt-n as you would for scrypt?

I'd suggest you read through this: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/vertcoin-settingsconfigs-how-to-mine-vertcoin-450310
