Please take your promotion and go elsewhere. Promoting your own coin in someone else's launch window? Are you serious?

Sorry if I'm kinda cock-blocking this thread but since this IPO is over and Promethium has IPO spots left, i'll just leave this here - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5458245

If u want this removed i'll remove it

The Promethium creator has great trouble with English, grammar, or both.

PM "ny2cafuse" and tell him I sent you, he's done well with WF3 cards. He might have some good settings to help.

If you want to try BAMT with my settings and scrypt kernel, I can PM you details. This will keep the thread clean.

Huh
my average is 640kh/s using this
setx GPUMAXALLOCPERCENT 100
setx GPUUSESYNC_OBJECTS 1
del *.bin
--gpu-platform 0 -d 0 -w 256 -v 1 -I 18 -g 1 -l 1 --shaders 1792 --lookup-gap 2 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --thread-concurrency 21712
overclock is 1150 core 1660 vram
how you getting 700+ without a ton of errors?

What brand/model of card are you using? I'm using MSI 7950. Of the brands I tested, MSI was the only one which could be pushed this far. Sapphires died around 680.

Here's my bamt config:

"gpu-fan":"100",
"intensity" : "20",
"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"kernel" : "scrypt",
"thread-concurrency" : "24000",
"expiry" : "120",
"gpu-engine" : "1145",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"log" : "5",
"no-pool-disable" : true,
"queue" : "1",
"scan-time" : "60",
"scrypt" : true,
"shares" : "0",
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin"

Also using a modified kernel. Without the kernel, those settings will push an MSI to 672-685. Can't say what it'll do to other cards. MSI uses the best quality components, you can push them hard. These cards have been running since September. There was 1 30 minute rest period as they were moved from one location to the next.

I had 2 MSI cards eventually die, and MSI paid me $285 each per card. Not bad considering I paid $200 to buy the card new to begin with.

Again, MSI, best warranty.

I'm not sure if I made it in time for the ipo or not #221
If not will there be refunds?

I spent hours trying to setup scrypt-n and some of my rigs just wont work with it(the first gpu works but the rest just shut off).

Scrypt-n: good time to enter the market for a new coin, still young but lot of potential. It's a good decision by my experiences, even tho not everyone can get them working.

IPO # 212 here - really not sure about the scrypt-n implementation and am hopeful the launch has all necessary DL's for mining to start smoothly. From what I have observed a critical success factor for a coin is a good launch and marketing - lots of effective marketing. You seem to have garnered some goodwill for the IPO based on a novel approach and concept - including your effective communications and transparency with the LLC etc. Now, you will need to be very purposeful in regards to conserving that momentum by executing nearly flawlessly on the launch and by communicating and correcting effectively through any hiccups.

This business model could scale in some very interesting ways if you can secure sufficient volume to become a direct distributor and gain pricing leverage in the marketplace. The issue is that margins in tech are razor thin so you will need to keep your overhead super low. Areas for growth would be pre configured rigs, bespoke GPU mines, accessories such as USB risers but this should all come after you have nailed the first level of scope

IPO#292 right here.
I got 12 confirms before the deadline so i hope i get counted.
I sent and email to them but no response as of yet :/

I'm running under linux (hence BAMT), system ram is irrelevant at that point. I use 2gb ram as I stated in my original post. You'll always get better stability and hash under linux. Windows makes it easier to run, but you do better with linux. I get 0 errors, and 1% or less reject. Hashrate varies less than 0.001%

The same could be said about you and your 1 card. This is big boy land. Play hard. Do your best with your 1 card. A 7950 should be mining at 715kh.

I have never heard of a 7950 get 715khash. Most I have heard of is 650, and I can get up to 642 on my 7950, and maybe the occasional little uprising. Can you show a reference getting 715?

That was taken a few days ago. Same system is still running with 0 issues. Now imagine racks of them.

ASRock 970 EX4, Sempron 145, 2GB ram
Seasonic 850
MSI 7950's
BAMT 1.3, cgminer 3.7.3, Modified scrypt kernel

Engine: 1145
Memory: 1500
Power/Intensity: 20

Each card pulls around 240w.
on my 7950 sapphire raydon sku 11196-19-20g gddr5, 1100gpu engine, I can not set it above 1100 without "amd display driver crashed". How much ram do you have? I have 6gb. U stated above "2GB ram" never heard of a system running 3 card on 2gb or is that the card ram or is it 2gb*3 card = 6? thx

Are you running windows? I have no linux experience,
but I have set up 3 rigs running scrypt-n by just changing
cgminer.exe to vertminer.exe, exact same config string. If
you are having problems don't try to set cpu speed, fan, etc.
Use trixx for that. You will get half of scrypt speeds.
