I got royally screwed on that 4.4 BTC purchase I think..... definitely not what I was expecting based on other's testimonials.

Dude, are you serious???  do you think testimonials are an actual representation?  Or do you here people bragging about how they 'won'.

I have made 8 purchases.  all but 1 were losers.  the last. 11 btc pointed at deep.  3.3 btc earned

One winner.   11btc,  13.3 returned

Was that todays payment that was just sent, if so there is something wacked about it it appears to be less than half of what it should have been.

The payments was from the last payment up to 1AM this morning.  We have switched to payout for each day.

Well still short then as it happens I write down my earnings every once in a while at 1am my time 11pm yours I had 7.03 on my worker at 4am my time 2am yours I had 7.75 or roughly .24 an hour so at 1am your time I would have had 7.51 when the payment was sent today I had 10.29 3:30pm my time 1:30 yours so 10.29-7.51 = 2.78 I received 2.07. I would add this is the first time it has ever been off by that much usually it is a .0? one way or the other when I figure it out probably the difference between when you calculate it up and send then my noticing it.

All of my times are CST, so that was up to 1AM CST.

Yes figured that out as I said in my edit while you were posting.

1AM this morning... but feels like last night.  Going forward they will stop at 12AM CST.

Edit: I think I may have mis-understood reading it again the payment for today was up to 1am last night not from then on if so that would be just about dead right, sorry for the noise if this is the case.

Hey Pirate, did you have a chance to read this:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.771559

...and maybe look into why my share delivery was so slow (and continued to slow down over time) compared to what I have been seeing others post ?
I got royally screwed on that 4.4 BTC purchase I think..... definitely not what I was expecting based on other's testimonials.

Could you perhaps have a look into it and tell me what you think if you have some spare time ?
Cheers,
bitlane.

We don't guarantee speeds, we send shares as fast as possible.  Its just the luck of the draw.

So I decided to give the GPUMAX 'Purchase' service a try last night, since I have been contributing shares for a while now...I figured it was time I gave it a shot on one of the more popular pools to see the results.

I am actually embarrassed to say, but my overall return on my purchase price was less than 40% in total.
No, not 40% after costs recovered, but a whopping 60% overall loss, unfortunately.

Upon making the purchase, everything started out quite fast but the speeds soon fell to nearly half, which resulted in approx 1.5 hours to complete my purchased share delivery and spreading out the shares amongst 2 of the pool's rounds, which really hurt the end result, as I ran out of shares before the final round ended (Slush's Pool) so it literally killed any chance of any further recovery of investment due to the 'points system' and degrading share value over time.....lol
It's really too bad that speeds did not maintain throughout, as I could have done really well, but alas, a lesson learned Wink

I think I will just keep submitting shares for sale, rather than purchasing myself for a while.

On the upside (for the pool, not for me) I managed to find one of the 2 blocks that I was a part of, but it wasn't even with my GPUMAX Worker...lol....it was one of my private workers that I also sent to the pool to accompany my purchased share delivery.....LMAO

How's THAT for luck Wink
Better luck next time! or, leave it to the professionals, and enjoy the higher PPS rates from your workers Grin

of course as soon as you give me the admin access on gpumax you have been promising me so I can direct these babies anywhere I want,

I think I need about 100ghash to crack these pesky passwd files from cia.gov

=)

rofl, assuming those passwd files use sha256(sha256()) then sure you will be all good Grin

still able to boost slush for ~300 gh/s

Yea, its more of a baseline, its hard to limit based on GH.
