...sure, but the link is not necessarily "mine", dkbit98 has already posted it in November.
I only played with the settings for the subtitles' language.

The mega folder is dead (as usual). Did anyone download the documentary, and can re-upload it?

It can be seen on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ETcLj5jBy4

It's by default with French subtitles, but if you play with the settings (gearwheel icon) you can select that the subtitles get auto-translated on the fly into English or the language of choice. It's clearly not optimal, but it can be a solution.

Thanks a ton man for sharing this documentary. We would have never known that such film exists somewhere out there based on the beloved bitcoin.  Grin
Why this documentary is not shown on other OTT platforms is big question for me. If they buy it and broadcast over Netflix like OTT platform then believe me it's going to be Top 5 picks for that launch period.

I am very curious to see the documentary.

✂It's not currently available on where I live it says "This video cannot be viewed from your current location", that's just sad but I guess I'll try it with a VPN later on.

But in fact, it's a shame that I'm very interested in watching it without the need to use a VPN.

ohh, sorry that not everyone in this world can access this documentary series. would not have thought that arte.tv has its 'blockades' Roll Eyes Undecided
then only the tor-browser helps for the time being...

We also don't have access to this Live Streamer.
For those who wants to know, this is available widely through European region. Probably US doesn't have this one aired.

Thanks for sharing it via MEGA, but just before I start downloading it does it have any restrictions to do it like that? I will probably download this from the public wifi considering the file sizes also.
Very curious to start watching it. Thanks and keep sharing!!

Cool share, thanks. Have to admit will probably not end up watching but if I ever end up in a situation I'm housebound again without work, then yeah, this is the kind of stuff I'll invest my free time in heh.

Initially thought episode 2 "war" would refer to the big blocker period circa 2017 -- the summary, however, talks about whistleblowers and criminals as those needing Bitcoin the most. Hard to swallow maybe, but probably an accurate reflection of mainstream sentiment.

First impressions: French noir Bitcoin animated docu. Cool.

Great. It seems like Andreas and Dan have devoted their lives into bitcoin. They've chosen to spread their network effect in a really effective way. Especially, Andreas with all his effort and all these books. Respect!

For those who can't watch the videos, I've uploaded them here: https://mega.nz/folder/PmJQGLrB#NegfRAO3bfe9Cjm9I0ltzw  (@cygan, better add this link in the OP)

One option to watch it for those who lack a vpn, is perhaps to use Opera browser just for the viewing. You can set the "free vpn" (*) on the browser to "Europe", which should do the trick and allow you to watch the six-part bitcoin documentary. I saw the documentary back in November, buy just tried to do so using Opera and it seems to work fine for that porpose.

(*) Opera is not really a vpn, but rather a proxy, and does not replace a vpn.

@DdmrDdmr
thanks for the good advice ... hopefully now also the 'blocked' users can watch the great documentary series Smiley
