This is often the reason why instead of having some profit in gambling, we tend to continue playing for wanting more, believing we can gain more if we continue. Also happened to me many times and after losing it all that's when I realized the mistakes that I did.
We can't remember how long we've been gambling, so we keep playing because we still hope that in the next round, we can get a win. But instead of winning, we get lost. But when someone wins, they don't immediately stop and take their winnings but keep playing because they want a bigger win. And that greed can come to anyone who plays gambling without seeing they have won. And when we have won but keep gambling and lose the money, we lose instead of winning. This is where we need to learn to have good self-control to stop playing gambling, especially after getting a win.
Many people engage in gambling, which involves playing games with the intention of winning or losing. Many engage in it for enjoyment, for winning or losing. But what exactly is winning and losing? You mention winning, losing, and your desire to win more. Its common to want to win more, but it may be risky as well. Dangerous because the need for more can result in failure. losing everything, losing more. After that, you discuss self-control. Controlling oneself is crucial. It functions something like a device that prevents you from taking undesirable actions. But is it sufficient? Is self-control alone sufficient? Perhaps, perhaps not. The issue with gambling is that it seems to continue on forever, in circles, and never ends. And therein lies the issue. a serious issue.

        -    This is just my point of view, when a gambler is new to the industry like this and experiences a win right away, this opportunity like this is the starting point for a gambler to become greedy. Because it will come to the mind of the gambler that he can get rich gambling effortlessly.

In addition to that, he can also think that it is a good source of income that is greater than the salary of an ordinary employee, that is, nothing negative will enter his mind when they experience winning because he will think that he always holds the luckily he didn't notice that greediness had entered him in the truth.
Phases of thinking like this always arise and are experienced by anyone, even I used to have thoughts like that and it's true that thoughts like that actually made me blinded by victory so I didn't care about the risks and also the bad effects in the long term so I just lost everything which are owned.
Lucky for me for not going further in the cycle of greed.

If we think logically then gambling is not a place that you can really rely on to make money because when you compare an employee I prefer to be an employee to make money because every job that is done is definitely paid every day, it is different from gambling which is there is still no certainty whether it provides benefits or losses.

To my notice a lot of people still believe that this betking is a scam site after I have taken my time to explain, WHY? One of bitcointalk rules states that read the content of threads and some comments before posting, for basic informations read this comments carefully so you can get what am talking about.
this is the scam betking casino site and this is the legit betking site I am talking about
You can't blame people for not trusting the name BetKing; it already has a bad reputation here, so it is safer if we all stay away from everything BetKing. I just reviewed the websites and I can see the difference between the two, and I believe you are not using the scam website, which is good for you. I personally am unable to use any BetKing casinos since I don't trust them and because they do not accept cryptocurrencies. On this forum, there are alot of reliable gambling casinos you can make use of.

Anyone that has gambled before knows that it is difficult to stop when you are winning as you do not want to let go of those positive feelings you have at the moment, but ironically the more you gamble the greater the chances this will happen as eventually your results should go back to the mean and you should begin to lose.

And once that happens, what was a very nice session can suddenly turn into an awful one since instead of feeling like a winner you may stop gambling once you lose most or all the profits you had at the moment, leaving a very bad taste in your mouth once that happens.
Losses is the only obstacle that would make a gambler sad and would be eager to wager on games inother to reap profits. The system doesn't work with our motives, rather we employ strategies that would yield our profits. Greed is one of the barrier that have hinder numerous gamblers from making gigantic earnings from the system. Gambling is risky, everyone knows that, but they failed to follow the basic principles that would lead one into becoming successful in the space. For me, there's disciplinary measures to follow inother to reduce our greed, not just gamblers, It also happens to traders which have the most negative effects on.

They have the same name so no wonder some users assumes it's the same betking that we know of as scam. Anyhow good to know that you're not playing in the scam site because even you happen to win the bet, you might get a problem withdrawing the money.

To the best of my knowledge and to the best of my experience, a situation like the one OP described in this thread is a common case for almost most gamblers. In this phase, what we need to do is consider making a decision. continue, or end the betting session with the wins we have got. the consequence of what OP did, is a situation that must be accepted with an open mind.  because if the situation were the other way around, then the OP would be saying that he's just plain lucky with the alibi that he involves believing he's going to win his next bet.
but I appreciate this OP story because usually someone will only share winning stories but OP shared his bad experience to remind us all that greed in gambling is not very good and I also appreciate what you said to always consider every bet when you have got a good win it is better to end the betting session, stop for a moment to enjoy the victory and continue the next day. steps like this are what all gamblers expect, but sometimes we cant be that easy to do positive things, good control in gambling and greed is always in the sphere of gambling.
and at least this OP experience is a reminder for everyone here to always try to control our minds to stay away from greed that can prevent us from getting big wins.

The OP needs some consolation and encourage and has  gotten it so far. He or she doesn't come off as an irresponsible gambler. And gambling carries risk and the willingness to take that risk doesn't make that person greedy. In fact it is not. Now that you know that the BetKing is a scam casino and reputable online casinos like bc.game and stake.com  have been recommended, you should check them out and see if they offer what you want. Goodluck on your next sports bet.
Gambling has it own risk so we need to make sure we concentrate on what we are doing so that things can be more easier to execute. Greed is one of the problems of gamblers and that alone can make us to lose big in the market not knowing how to go about things. Greed had made me to lose all my capital I used to start gambling. Although I was making profits but I decided not to remove the move for anything and keep using it to build my account. Not knowing that the more games I played, the more chances of losing everything I have ever worked for which was very disheartened.

That's a Mastermind to every loss anyone would face...
I'm not saying every single lose gets instigated by Greed though; well mostimes, that's the case.
When you've got an ability to control your actions and your decisions towards whatever you indulge in, that's discipline and I believe in gambling, it has a vital role to play when it comes to maximizing losses. Alot of peeps mistake "opportunities" for "trials" - they keep wagering even when it's really unnecessary... There's always a time to heal, which is what you should understand; give yourself that time!
So that's not a mastermind then, because a loss can just occur naturally, that is because gambling casinos set the difficulty to high for them to stay longer in the game. When we are greedy we can also experience to win huge because we are pushing outside our limits.

If you know how to handle your greed and stop at the right time, you are going to benefit with it. In gambling we don't play with an aim to maximize our losses but it was actually the opposite but again, we need to have a strong instinct. When we feel that the game isn't giving us good payouts anymore, it might be a good idea to stop and withdraw most of your balances (if not all ).

Greed is something that is usually very difficult for gamblers to endure. Usually our feeling always says "A" but because of greed our choice changes to "B" either because the reward is bigger or for other reasons. But actually if we can control our greed for our choices, it can save us from bad choices, even though it's quite difficult, but actually we can train ourselves to control our greed. If we get used to restraining ourselves, I don't think greed will control us anymore.
Greed is one of the worst thing that could happen to any gambler, we just have to relaxed and deal with our challenges other than run from them. Most gamblers in the space exhibit greed; there is nothing we can do to totally eliminate it, but we can supply remedies to help lower it to a minimum standard. It is steadily depleting gamblers and making more room for account liquidation. Greed has caused many gamblers to miss out on huge earnings from the system, as they are usually hesitant in their activities and make sure they have everything in order before ending playing for the day.

Yes, it depends on the person but those that treat gaming/gambling as fun activities do so because it's the only way they can put their buzz in check to prevent addiction or unnecessary gambling.
If you know any of the gamblers that treated gambling this way ask them and they will tell you they are still hoping for a chance of good winning.
I disagree. There are plenty of gamblers out there who primarily care about the fun factor and don't really care about earning money. They are happy regardless of whether they win or lose at the end of the day.

One of the best examples in this case are elites who are 100% financially free.
You don't need to agree with me but just check the fact and I believe you can learn this through celebrities like Drake. Mayweather Jr, etc. which is into gambling. Despite how rich they are and gambling for fun they still hope and wish they get something out of it because it normal nature of human when you are putting money into something you will also expect something in return.

Agreed, everyone at some point gets directed into winning money. Losing will surely make them unhappy, how rich they're is secondary. With most of the gamblers, the beginning is just for fun. Over time they get active into gambling looking for win. The mind never find satisfied and the winning streak lets the gambler to continue whereas the losing makes the gambler go behind the recovery. In all means it is the same that keeps the gamblers active in the event of trying to win.
You understand my point because some people appear not to understand what trying to say which is no matter how rich a gambler was if she gambles and never gets any winning the game will boring to the gambler so there will always be the need for something to keep the gambler coming back to play the game so saying some people totally for fun is not accepted by me.

Interesting, I like what you said "That's a Mastermind to every loss anyone would face". but if I may say otherwise, that the mastermind behind each of our losses is ourselves. then we regret it, with the alibi that greed played a full role in what happened. in fact, psychologically human, we tend to be compelled to do something pleasurable over and over again. our brain continues to stimulate to produce more dopamine, as a result we are late in the atmosphere during the game session. this applies, when we are in a losing situation or are winning. even when we have the ability to control actions and decisions in this case gambling, it is not uncommon for us to also potentially do the same thing as the OP said in this thread.

Depends on what are the things that you do have in mind because on the time that you would really be having that kind of mindset or emotions additionally then for sure you would really be sticking on something that you do most prefer despite on being wary about the risks and possible outcome but still you to tolerate out such condition just because you have been that confident in terms of probability or chances that you might be able to win up more. There are really moments on which we do really have that kind of intuition or feeling that we would be winning the next bet.

On the time that you would be having that wrong guess then you would come up with the next that it might be a win this time. This kind of mindset will really be making you even more engaging since losing money
would be your main target and for you to be able to break even with those losses then you should continue to bet until you do win. This would be most likely the thing that you would be having in mind in these kind of sessions. On the time that you would be making out some winning streak then here comes the greed which is naturally that instill on a human being and if you arent that good on controlling it
then it would be most likely be ending up on a disaster for those someone who couldnt be able to control it out.

Usually greed will appear when the reward gets bigger like the OP story when someone bets on sports betting after that chooses a parlay bet and gets very high odds but there is one club that has not been chosen but is still unsure about the choice but if it is added to the bet slip the result is will be bigger so any gambler will take this risk more.
Even though if you don't take too many risks and are not greedy, of course that person will have won a sizable victory and usually every gambler will fail to beat this greed because they know the payoff is huge.
I'm sure some people here have experienced something like this and I personally have experienced it too.
From this case the lesson we get is to always accept immediate results and don't need to chase something big

many people have criticized and talked about greed harming gamblers, but we have to analyze why people become greedy, games of chance were designed in a way that only the casino or bookmaker is profitable, so the people spend a lot of time playing and losing, and as if it were a place where there was a great fighter, with extremely high skills and that all the other fighters who are challenging the very strong fighter lose, then the scenario that you see in casinos and houses betting is very similar to what I described, the only way players had to beat the bookmaker or casinos

and that they keep playing until they hit a jackpot, only when they manage to win a lot do they recover all losses, but the problem is that hitting a big jackpot is very difficult, but people don't give up and keep betting more each until they get it get it right, for example in the case of sports betting so that people can win a lot of money they need to make multibet bets, which makes them lose even more and even when they win they cannot cover the losses, so I would not consider greed when bettors keep betting more, I think they do it in order to beat the bookmaker or casinos

for all of us we get angry when we lose, but there are people who are more radical, they don't accept defeats at all, even if they have to lose for many months, they keep playing until they get it right, they are proud people
