My take on a shit coin is that it is useless in the long run and doesn't give you a good ROI in the long run since most of these were dumped always by these investors/development team. Greed is somehow controllable if a person always focuses on what is on his mind, but most of these traders don't think it that way. Instead, their focus will change along the course when they finally see the bull market.
I do not agree that greed causes damage. Usually it is greed that motivates people to take actions that make money. It does not matter whether it is legal or not.
The truth here has to do with our general mindset has regards how to trade and how to make profit and not to loose our investments. Many traders believe crypto to be the next ponzi scheme and they expect outrageous returns and thats why they go bankrupt

Greed comes when you get easy money and when there is a lot of money. Traders have money but because of greed can not stop.
Greed has become a natural character for humans when he is given a pleasure, it will always demand more. Greed is personal character. I will tell my experience to avoid myself from greed. I avoid being greedy by always being thankful for every favor given to me. I feel enough with my pleasure and fortune. If I am indeed given a little fortune then I will only manage with these results but if I am given more then I can save the rest. It all depends on our acceptance. We ourselves must limit ourselves. If there wasn't greed and everyone leave market on top, the whole crypto industry would probably be dead by now, wouldn't it? Someone should help crypto-enthusiasts to support Bitcoin and alts.

You're right. greed makes investors want more profits and make them make wrong decisions. The price paid is their profit or investment amount. It's hard to tell when to buy and sell if you don't have a specific strategy and profit you want with each portfolio.
Greed will also bring lesson to every trader.
Like mine, I've learned that whenever you trade always set up a better price so that you won't be expecting that high. Set up a limit but not so high when you are about to sell. In this manner, you can take profit while the price are a bit higher.

You cannot force investors to do what is outside their wish.

One should always follow some strict strategy when thinking about earning here, in crypto trading. Think about how much you plan to earn in a particular trade before entering it. And don't change your mind.
Being greed is not good. It represents that you have a bad attitude, in business like this cryptocurrency, we cannot predict the price when it goes up. So if you are a greed person, I think you should cut this kind of behavior to be able to become a successful individual.

That's their lesson in making an investment on crypto currency, particularly for those newbie. Next time you should research first what the things you're going to in, so that you will not wonder whats going on. Cryptocurrency is unpredictable, if you do trading you should set a value when do you execute trade on your asset to regret in last and don't be greed and self discipline is important as well.

I think the best thing to do is to make a target price and when it reaches that target price, you will sell it at that price no matter what happens to the coin whether it goes up or down. This is what I'm doing when I trade. This needs discipline to the trader so that he will not become greedy in trading.
On a serious note, all traders want maximum profit but the truth is that no one can get maximum profit. A lot of traders loss all their money to greediness because they want maximum profit. The best thing to do is make do with whatever profit. That's my newbie experience and idea.

, of course greed will always bring bad things, good trader will always control emotion cause they have a good risk management, so, dont worry, loss is part of trading and we should learn from that things before start again.

We can't blame some traders and investors because some of them has been investing their time and not just their funds. They're holding for such a long time and we can't question their goal to reach more than 50%. There's no harm in aiming for the best but expecting too much might result in disappointments.
