Proposed Price (will revise if needed):
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Av5QeUf0zhMrdE9HaUJOak1rWjFLeXRDbjFicHVndnc&usp=sharing

To make sure the payment will reach 45btc, reservations will be used for calculation of total price.

If we cannot reach 45btc, WE will revise the price together.

If we exceed 45btc, WE will revise the price together to make it closer to 45btc.

NO ONE SHOULD BUY AT THESE PRICES PERIOD...!
this is a community forum RIGHT, lets stick together and make them lower the price.  lets not get suckered into it.  be cool  Cool and hold your ground.

LOL, that would be nice.  The problem is there will always be morons that simply have to have the new toys regardless of price or ROI.  The best example are the Bi*Furies and the TwinFury, people here are actually buying those things in lots of 10. LOL According to Sushi and the rest, we are only 1/3 as moronic as the Ebay folks, but apparently still moronic enough to buy at whatever price they set.

Don't look for these to go down in price any time soon.  If anything, they'll be going up shortly after Christmas once they find out they can sell them at $200 each on Ebay.  Since we're only 1/3 as moronic, that's $66 instead of $56.  Once the resellers get ahold of them, I'm sure they want to make some cash, so $75 to $100 each is what I suspect normal Joe to be paying, poor suckers.

At this difficulty I might have paid $35 each, in 10 days from now maybe $30.  After 20 days it's probably pointless unless you want to be a dealer on Ebay.  Personally, I'm not ready for that headache so I'll be passing. Sad  The Blades and Cubes are still better deals comparatively.

No need to complain about the price. As long as you hold on and never buy something seems too expensive, they will reduce the price quickly. Remember the price of AM USB erupter?
how long will you be willing to wait?

For anyone buying the sticks for mining, waiting another month will kill any profit margin due to diff. increase,
Don't forget that during Q1/2014 the whole market will be flooded with new HW.

As I see it - amateur mining will soon come to an end  Sad

Well - lets wait for cxboyminer's announcement and see if he and sushi were able to figure something that will make this worthwhile

bulk buy should be at wholesale price not at ridiculous retail price.

even if sushi or cxboyminer were to purchase these it should be at price where they can offer good pricing model, see below.

example:

1 - 5 = $49 each
6  -10 = $39 each
11 - 100 = $29 each
101 - 500  = $19 each

if Bitmain or whoever selling cannot do a better price (like above) then I'm sure you're going to have problems selling.

If Bitmain wants to sell 4000 of these quickly then I think he better rethink his prices quickly.
you can't fuck around trying to convince people aaahhhh but ROI, aaahhhh but no ROI,  aaahhhh but eBay this price, and this person will buy 1 and that person will buy 2.

you want to sell or you don't.

and another thing, anyone heard of 'people power'.

'The right to privacy matters'
below is an example of a no btc roi yet a huge usd roi

http://www.dzminercoop.com/?page_id=124

so if you had a time machine  what person would tell me that they do not want 10 shares here and it is a  failed  investment.

BTW  I do know people running  saying this is the case.

So if a stick here cost .09 btc which is about 58 usd.. at 644 a btc   and

in 1 year it makes .04 btc back at  at 2000 usd you net 80usd.

much like what happened in dzminercoop r5+r6   a btc loss and a usd gain.

_______________________________________________________________________________ _______________________
any one that says these sticks will not make a gain/roi in usd may be correct or may be wrong.  = fact

for determining  tax owed btc roi has no meaning  in any country in the world as of today = fact

my first example of buying btc then buying sticks then selling all of them on ebay . with no mining at all has a different set of tax rules.    and buying and selling sticks with 0 mining is easy to do when compared to buying and selling s-1 units with no mining.

I can also say many people can run 2-6 sticks power free they can not run a s-1 power free.

If you want 50 sticks to mine in one location this deal sucks go buy  a few cubes or an s-1.

I am getting 50 to 100 sticks   and mining with some and selling some.  It will work for me and anyone like me.

To any one that thinks the s-1 is a better deal it is if you feel like having 1 big piece.

The point is the S1 is not even a good deal at 4.25BTC will never ROI, these are a terrible deal at 10BTC for the same hashrate and will return only a 3rd of the purchase price.

that is because you have not wrapped your mind around roi. in every country in the world that charges tax the income is generated in the fiat of that country.   You are talking in roi in terms of btc and in every country in the world that charges taxes  btc has no place in the determination of the roi of the gear.

As I type right now 10 btc on coin base is 6441 usd .  as I type .  now you need to understand tax law.    but here it goes  I buy 10 coins at 6441 usd I get 111 sticks my roi is not 10btc to the usa/irs it is 6441 usd  .  I sell all the stick on ebay at 200 usd a set of 2 that is 55 sets at 200   thats 11000 usd.   ebay pay fees are 7% or 770  you are down to 10230.  shipping is 330 you are at 9900  minus the 6441 you paid your profit is  3459 usd.   btc has no meaning just usd.

now you are an ebay buyer.  you buy 2 sticks for 200.  you get a few discounts you pay 180 for the 2 sticks.

you mine 3.2 gh earns  .0095 btc in  a week    if you cash the coins in you get  6 bucks. at 644 a btc

you are down 174 after one week. next week diff goes up and you earn .009  and btc shoots to the moon 3000 usd that is 27 dollars you are down   147 after 2 weeks.  btc stays in the 2000 to 4000 usd price range all of 2014.   those sticks turn a usd profit  they do not turn a btc  profit.

oh but  if you purchased coins in the beginning  you would have made more .  this is not a valid argument.

mining and selling coins as they come in is a completely different tax category then buying coins and holding them long term.  they have different tax  laws and they have different risk factors.

Well if you don't hold coins coinbase has a 10 btc limit.   So If I found 4 guys with 9 coins each i would be the 5th letting me buy at the .09 price.  I can make money at .09 a stick if I buy at 625 a coin  it comes to  56 or 57 a stick.  I can get 95-115 on ebay no problem.  Sell sets of 2 sticks ship in a small flat rate box.      sell off  60 sticks and keep 40.    This bombshell makes it  a lot harder for me. To set up and decide how many.

To any one that thinks the s-1 is a better deal it is if you feel like having 1 big piece.

For many ebayers buying a  3000 or 4000 dollar unit is scary.  buying 2 sticks at 200 seems easy.

For an ebay seller selling a set of 2 sticks for 200-220 is far safer to do.

I prefer many  sales of 2 sticks to 1 sale of a s-1 unit.

F*** overpriced; what a bummer.

They make the S1 look like a good deal.  10BTC for the same hashrate as a 4.25BTC S1

May as well drill holes in them so that they can be sold as necklaces.

500/45BTC is insane.

This should be 500/30 BTC or 100/8 BTC

quite expensive, not sure if I am gonna order it.

I will order one once I sorted out the price for my group buy as well as the fees and all those things that causes headaches (or tumours)... and when I receive those funds from group buy.

I encourage people to pay in BTC. To cover paypal fees, prices via paypal will be slightly higher.

Quite frankly Bitmain had every opportunity to help cxboy (or anyone else who PM'd them and didn't hear back) organize people if they knew they were doing this absurd 500 piece batch bullshit.  Now they can enjoy watching these sit in their cases while nobody buys.

I don't see a problem with it. He is trying to establish distributer pricing. He doest want to deal with single piece items

Quite frankly this smells a lot of friedcat . Either way I'm glad they are now available

If that were the case then they would have responded to all the people PM'ing them to help set up different regional distributions.  Ignoring the 19 page GB thread that was waiting for U1's and giving zero info until "Here they are, buy in lots of 500 only".  Had they even mentioned this on Friday people could have organized to purchase these as group buys targeting the 500 number per group.  They never had to deal with single piece orders, people were waiting and willing to do that previously.  Can't say the same now as the communication has been nearly non-existent.
