In my opinion the usb hub is more then fine ...
I agree on that, the hub is working well for me, too.

It's a standard 10 port usb hub, I'm using 5 of them over the last month and there wasn't any issue ...

In my opinion the usb hub is more then fine ...

i'm wondering if that usb hub usable and stable, for example, not outputting ridiculous voltages to your controller equipment (Pi or whatever)? or is it shitty as well and need to be replaced?
i guess usb hub is one of the most important components to provide good stability and smooth operation these devices.

i own couple of such industrial psus. these aren't really that shitty at all. voltages are as pretty stable and the quality is reliable enough. of course, these aren't meant for open area installation like your average pc toys..

can you elaborate on the shitty PSUs? I'm a bit worried by fire hazards.

Ok ok, maybe shitty is too strong.. But I don't like them. They are noisy for *no* reason..
In LTC mode they supply like 40 W each, and for that they spin up and down fan rpm
from minute to minute, that's really annoying and makes no sense to me.

But fire hazard is the main reason why I replace them.
Dunno, maybe it's more psychological, but to me they don't look too
trustworthy with all this free wiring and stuff. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong,
but I'm not gonna find out for the sake of a couple of $'s (for which you get a decent
12V source) Wink

Bitcoin is antisemitic
^^ the PSU is one of those industrial PSU ... that are sold in masses on ebay ...

Thanks darkfriend. Any idea about their efficiency? < or > 80%?

There are some minor issues with the product itself (noisy fans, shitty controller, shitty PSUs)

Over load protection
Over charge protection
Short circuit protection
Cooling by free air convection and fan rotation

It's not shitty ... it does the trick ... but it is noisy ...

Ok ...

I can't tell you any price right now for Batch 3 ... I need to wait for Batch 2 ... also

I did change some stuff for Batch 2 ... like replacing the controller ... and I first need to see

How it works out ... what I can say is it will be a little cheaper then Batch 2.

One question darkfriend77,

is there any option to remove usb hub, psu and the controller and reduce the price?

Thanks

I'm also interested in this with shipping from EU to Poland including taxes.

Could You estimate the price?

[BATCH 1] Waiting on feedback.

I'm more than satisfied by this GB, thank you very much darkfriend77! Great service and communication
from your side Smiley

There are some minor issues with the product itself (noisy fans, shitty controller, shitty PSUs), but that's
not your fault. I would suggest for upcoming batches that you try to get the miners without the accessories
for a couple of $ less.. The only thing I ended up using from the supplied accessories are the USB cables Cheesy
