Hi guys i have a 1060GTX and it has 19.8 Mh/s, bad deal. Regards

Question is that OCed?  If it is sounds like Hynix memory, if not sounds closer to Micron memory.

3/8 of mine are like this. I suggest mining something Equihash, like BTG or Zclassic, rather than ethash coins. Ethash is the more memory intensive algo, I notice almost no difference in hashrate between my cards when mining Equi coins.

Just tweaked mine in a little more but still messing around actually.  I got a EVGA 1060 6GB SC edition card. Im mining Zcash.
Originally was +230 Core (1850-1900Mhz) and +400 Mem (4200Mhz) = 323 Sols/S average with 80% TDP (96W) ~3.35 Sols/W
New Adjustment +325 Core (1797-1809Mhz) and +400 Mem (4200Mhz) = 316 Sol/S average with 72% TDP (86.4W) ~3.68 Sols/W

Samsung or Hynix?

Crappy Hynix ram.  I can do +600 or +800 doing Eth but no gains after +400 on zec, actually get less due to it down clocking the core more.
Right now in the process of tweaking the voltage curve and clocks so its not bouncing between things but probably be a few days or a week for me to tweak it.  At the low TDP setting my voltage is below the vchart since it sits around 775mV and the chart starts at 800mV.  And just had a fail after 5 hours of running the lower TDP, first for me actually.  So probably requires a sligthly lower clock at that TDP to mine properly.

Tinker around 60-70% Power limit and anywhere from 100-135 on core 400-500 memory.

Cool, they run at 60-70% without dropping in performance? That is pretty neat.

Yeah definitely not an issue dropping the TDP and giving it a little extra on the core.  The voltage curve / core frequency that is programed into the bios really gives it a pretty good flexibility.

asus 1060 3gb dual  Mine are running for months with 60% TDP,  +100 clock, +380 mem  (it is Hynix)
fan is at 50% and temp are around 50-51C which is good for me.

It can probably do a bit more but I like to play safe +my electricity is costly.

p.s. this card is crap on ETH (and crap as a whole for mining but that`s another story) so don't even try it on ETH.
Go for equihash and other algos.

Just got a good deal on 8 Asus 3 GB 1060 Dual OC, looking at breaking even in about 2.5-3 months for the rig at todays prices. Other cards are about 5 months in my country. The whole rig runs surprisingly quiet and cool. it's not really a problem staying in the same room or anything.

Anyone got experience overclocing this particular type of card? What settings are recommended for equihash mining?

Need some input.

I have 6x GTX1060 on my rig connected to Biostar TB350 motherboard.
Gigabyte and Zotac has Hynix memory, Asus has Micron.

PCIe 1_1 slot = Gigabyte Windforce OC 6GB
PCIe 16_1 slot = Zotac AMP! 6GB
PCIe 1_1 slot = Asus Strix OC 6GB
PCIe 1_1 slot = Asus Strix OC 6GB
PCIe 1_1 slot = Asus Strix OC 6GB
PCIe 1_1 slot = Asus Strix OC 6GB
PCIe 1_1 slot = Asus Strix OC 6GB

GPUZ and Afterburner tally with each other
GPU#0 Asus (Micron) 1961/4303 (PL 80, CC +175, MC +500)
GPU#1 Asus (Micron) 1974/4303 (PL 80, CC +175, MC +500)
GPU#2 Asus (Micron) 1999/4303 (PL 80, CC +200, MC +500)
GPU#3 Gigabyte (Hynix) 1797/4303 (PL 75, CC +200, MC +500)
GPU#4 Asus (Micron) 1961/4303 (PL 80, CC +175, MC +500)
GPU#5 Zotac (Hynix) 1797/4303 (PL 70, CC +175, MC +500)

*MC is being OC as I often switched to ETH mining.

This seems to be tally with MSI Afterburner.

My issue now is the hash rate that I got from one of the Asus card (GPU#04). Its hash rate is pretty low, upping the core clock or power limit doesn't seems to do much on the hash rate. Is the card fucked?.
Something like this.

Temp: GPU0: 58C GPU1: 56C GPU2: 57C GPU3: 63C GPU4: 55C GPU5: 64C
GPU0: 314 Sol/s GPU1: 313 Sol/s GPU2: 316 Sol/s GPU3: 291 Sol/s GPU4: 232 Sol/s GPU5: 286 Sol/s
Total speed: 1752 Sol/s
+-----+-------------+--------------+
| GPU | Power usage |  Efficiency  |
+-----+-------------+--------------+
|  0  |     93W     |  3.38 Sol/W  |
|  1  |     92W     |  3.40 Sol/W  |
|  2  |     94W     |  3.36 Sol/W  |
|  3  |     76W     |  3.83 Sol/W  |
|  4  |    104W     |  2.23 Sol/W  |
|  5  |     81W     |  3.53 Sol/W  |
+-----+-------------+--------------+

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong and what can I do to get normal hash rate from this one card?

Can someone tell me the name of this miner. Thanks !

Does anyone know if I will be able to run 8x 1060 6gb on a Corsair hx850 v2 PSU? I have 6 running on that PSU now without issues, drawing around 540 watts at the wall @ 64% TDP. So I figured that two extra cards shouldn't be a problem?

Are you dual mining with that PSU at those settings?

Is it plus the memory clock + 400 equal to MSI after burner +800MHz? Or directly plus 800MHz to MSI after burner? Thanks!

someone said memory + 800Mhz

Is use MSI after burner +400 Mhz or +800Mhz , because When i +1Mhz with memory, the memory Mhz seems it is add 2 to the total memory clock.

Thank you for your contribution. As surprising as it is, not so many people posted the hashrates they get. Could you please give me what you can get on Groestl and Neoscrypt ?

https://i.imgur.com/VR2fPe6.png

ccminer 1.8.1 benchmark, 368.95 drivers

Groestl: 25.94

Neoscrypt: 662.61

LBRY seems to be the most profitable now, unless there are some other undiscovered coins that I don't know.

Can you please tell me how you testing in what are you using?? Thx

Hi guys
im looking forward to build a nvidia rig for equihash
Does Gtx 1060 3gb worth it over 1060 6gb consider only few % higher from the 6gb?
Does memory type matters for equihash?

Thanks
