got 6 Gigabyte 1060 3gb mini's Smiley They do exactly 20 Mh/s ETH each. (overclocked mem) Those are shipped with Hynix, but it's okish. With samsung chips I think you can expect 22 Mh/s.

Each of my Gigabyte 3GB Minis gets 25MH/s.

You're lucky they are shipped with samsung memory I think? (gpu-z will show)
What miner? Thanks

Hi guys,

anyone using EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING, 03G-P4-6160-KR, 3GB GDDR5, ACX 2.0 (Single Fan) ?
What results can I expect from those and is the fan at 100% going to be enough? I am thinking of getting Arctic Accelero Mono PLUS for all my cards when they arrive. Anyone using this cooler?
And what are the best OC you guys are getting?

20.97, latest --cuda-parallel-hash option not affecting it a lot. Playing games is much more fun on it Smiley

Here is what I am doing just thought I'd share:

4 x EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 SSC 6GB Cards
  • 65% power
  • -200 core
  • +1000 memory
  • Runs at ~51C
  • Fans stay at ~55-60%

- Windows 7 64-bit
- 8Gb RAM
- Latest Nvidia drivers

HashRates:
  • 23+ mh/s per card using Claymore rev 9.6
  • 23-26.5 mh/s per card using Genoil NVIDIA optimized

AMazing   All Samsung memory I assume

QUestion did it run more than 24 hours?

Yes it has been running stable for 5 days now. Only 5 days because I tinker with it on occasion and rebooted on accident 5 days ago. Been running stable after I figured out I had to break it up into 2 genoil instances isolating one of my cards in its own instance for some reason. Prior to isolating the one card it was crashing every hour or so if I put them all in the same instance. 3 of the cards were shipped all at once, same place etc and the 4th card was a bought later from a different retailer so not sure if there is something different causing it to not play nice with the other 3.

Oh and dual mining if using claymore I get ~22.5 per card at default 30 dcred intensity. I usually just stick to the genoil miner that is optimized for the 1060s getting closer to 26 instead

I think I have the same problem  tell me more about the instance  I want tomorrow to set 5 of my Samsung in One instance and the  3 Hynx on another

Give me a Tip  the command that you set in your Bat File

Yea try separating them out I honestly think that is the case for me as well 3 are Samsung and the other isn't didn't bother checking.

Here is the command for genoil to start 3 of the 4 cards:

Code:
--cuda-devices 0 1 2

Just figure out how the cards are numbered, it should match what afterburner is showing or claymore. Also make sure you are using -U instead of -G

although i have a Stable rig i did not manage to  make 2 instances
I wrote the command     --cuda-devices 0 1 2  it started perfectly fine ok started hashing   after that i set in seperate miner and bat file   --cuda-devices 3 4 5 and is started fine then is crashed and said something with   missing dag or something  and in the meantime the first Miner crashed also

What did i do wrong?

Spreadcoin is the most profitable coin on the gtx 1060 3gb making $5.22 a day with sp-mod #10 (0.05BTC PM for details). This is more than they make on the 1080ti with the nicehashminer. (The nicehashminer has 50 000 users that will compete with you and take your profit)

The global hashrate is around 3000 rx 580 cards, so the coin is pretty small

(12 MUSD marketcap value on the exchanges)  $35,002  24h trade volume at www.bittrex.com

Hello guys, i'm new to the mining business,

I've got my KFA2 GTX 1060 6G at a stable 25 MH/s Eth and i wonder what would be the most profitable thing to mine with it.

I'm considering building a rig of 1060 6G, any advice?

I saw your post with spreadcoin. Do you have a guide or something like that to start mining it?

another question, i have a wallet for ETh, (mining on nanopool currently), do I need a wallet for each new crypto i mine or is there one that regroup more?

ty for your time guys Wink

Guy I Believe it is Better to List the settings based on Samsung, micron and FUCKING hynix memory

Example

Stable Settings

KFA2 1060 3g  OC
Hynix

Power Limit  75%
Core clock  0
Memory Clock  +300

Eth 18,3

That is one card, EVERY card has the chance to get any of the three memory types.

Then I won the lotto, because GPU-Z shows Samsung for all the ones I bought Grin.

Good to know!

Most (or all?) cards that are shipped currently seem to have Hynix memory, really bad...

Zotac cards are running with Samsung memory.  If you want to find out what memory a GPU card is using, google image search the card name + "GPU-Z".  So for "Zotac 1060 GPU-Z", you'll get image search results that look like this:

This is how I determined which cards to avoid.  Plus Zotac cards seem to be in stock on Amazon more often, so double win.

GTX 1060 3gb I'm getting 310 on equihash. That's only a 9 below a high-end 6gb, not worth spending more IMO.

No. Got 3 Zotacs, 1 Samsung, 2 Hynix.
Got 6 Gainward from 2 different sellers. All Hynix.
You just can't tell upfront.
