Sino Sigma did asdvise me not to open the cubes, as they had customers previously who had shorted the units by fiddling about with the blades.

Ive had all my Cubes open and stripped out totally with no issues.  YMMV.

It's important to understand that the combined weight of the blades is pretty hefty so when sliding out the main board, carefully support everything as best as possible.  Otherwise the main board could bow slightly or the blades could "lean" outside perpendicular and cause damage.

But if you're careful and not klutzy you should be just fine.

Now, I don't even hear a clicking sound at start. I removed all the blades, still no click. I see only 1 yellow light (next to the PCI connection), but no red light (next to Ethernet).
Will it help if I replace the PSU, or is this cube dead forever ?

you probably shorted the cube when you opened it up  Roll Eyes
Is there a way to know exactly what's wrong ? Is it usually only 1 light on when you plug the PSU. I don't have another PSU handy to check right away. Will have to get another one from the store if you think that can help.
Not really, the error codes aren't well publicised. Best bet is to get a beefier PSU you know is working. May be the 'spike load' protection on the PSU.

my 2 little cubes are both run from a ax1200i... on high clock the fan hardly ever kicks in... mind you, I live in a pretty cold place and have fans blowing air in thru an open window... both run stable at max on high clock. I think the yellow LED is a status of the clock set to High from what I remember?  Someone confirm?

Do you have a different power supply to at least test with at all?  I'd start there.

How come my cube speed show in webpage(cube website) is 32gh/s
BUT in slush's pool show slower than the cube speed.

Pool speed is estimate, cube config is actual.

My Cube mines for a bit, but then stops until I reset it: Take all android phones/tablets OFF the wifi, they interfere for some reason.

And, as someone else said did you check the status of ur router and make sure its not close to the bandwidth max.

This is really, really, really unlikely.

For your average cube on your average pool, each cube's average traffic is 2 to 10 KB/s with its peak reaching 30 to 150 KB/s.

Having same issues with my cube. It used to turn off after a few hours, now it turns off after 30 seconds or so. Exactly same issues as described by the user (blizz3010) a few posts before my post. I also turned off my android phone and restarted my internet. Still the same. Any other suggestions ?

Got any screenshots of ur web interface settings and the proxy running? Also some tablets cause this issue.

How to check this ?

Yeah the other day all my blades and cubes locked up while I was moving a few things around. My wife has the Android phone and she fell asleep on the couch. Eventually my frustration trying to fix things woke her up, immediately asked her to make sure the WiFi was off on her phone. She fussed and insisted the WiFi was off. I told her to just check to be sure... Turns out that from a power cycle earlier that day her phone had powered on with the WiFi enabled, coincidentally I was making settings adjustments when her phone crashed all my proxies. Anytime I see proxy freeze or blades reporting sick I'm betting on Android devices and WiFi.

I don't have any issues either on my TP-Link router but I have read on Bitcointalk that others had issues with android devices with blocks before.  When it was just mentioned here I remembered it.
It is odd that is for sure.

Yeah I don't doubt it's possible.

But hell if some rinky-dink mobile device starts causing stability issues on my LAN I seriously need to rebuild my infrastructure.   Grin

This is gonna sound crazy, but make sure you have no Android OS cellphones running on the WiFi.

He's not wrong about the android phones or tablets on wifi affecting the  Blocks.  Some routers handle it better than others.

I've read that!  Also seems silly.  But possible I suppose.  Depends on the router, as said.  I can see how some poor router firmware might cause issues.  I don't experience that issue personally.  I am running Cubes at the moment and have anywhere from 6 to 11 Android devices connected to the LAN without an issue.

Cubes run on High @ ~ 37 to 38 GH/s.
