Here are some quick facts for Hashra's Lunar series I gathered while talking to Maurice from their support team via email

- Hardware Errors are to be expected. These miners use a certain type of chip and it is bound to give hardware errors. To compensate for that they run slightly above their intended speed, mostly negating the Hardware Error aspect. In my case, I get about 6% HW errors which most gets too.

- 55C is a fine temperature, it is in fact colder than it can operate safely under. Everything under 60C is considered safe, above 60C but under 70C is recommended to add cooling. Over 70C is too hot, but they won't melt. The lifespan will decrease if they run too hot for too long, proper ventilation (venting warm air to the outside) is the best way to cool the devices.

- The miner will NOT automatically shut down if it gets too hot, so check your temps frequently. They CAN melt if they overheat. Recommended to place the miner in a well-ventilated place with a window that can be open at all times, so the hot air can escape to the outside. If this is not possible, you can try placing heat-sinks on top of the miner and an additional fan in the room. This will help cool the device more if it gets really hot.

- CGminer uses port 4001. Therefore you can setup CGmonitor from playstore using port youripaddress:4001. Remember to portforward port 4001.

Setting up remote control for your miner

For those who has a dynamic IP address, please use services like noip, dydns.org etc. In this example I will use noip. Link: http://www.noip.com/

1. Sign up an account with noip.

2. After signing up/logged in. Add a host to your account.

3. Once you have added a new host, download the client.

4. After downloading and installing the client. Run it, then sign in with the username and password you have created earlier.

5. After logging in, click on edit hosts.

http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj196/derekz87/6_zps484b6030.png

6. Then make sure the host you have added earlier is checked, then click on save.

7. You should be getting three ticks, if you are not sure, click on Refresh Now. As long as DUC client is running in the background, the client will update your hostname every 5 minutes with the latest WAN IP address.

8. Next will be setting up your router, please note that I am using a TP-link router, other routers will be similar. Portforward is also known as Virtual Server or vice-versa. Port triggering or setting a DMZ host will not work in this case this is because a few other software/web management app uses port 80 as well. Setting up a different/unused external port is the only way to redirect you to the "port 80" on your hashra controla correctly.

9. Once all done, you can try logging in to your miner via your mobile phone on 3g network. Type eg. yourhostname.noip.me:4002

WARNING: REMEMBER TO CHANGE YOUR DEFAULT PASSWORD FOR MINER, ANYONE WHO KNOWS YOUR WAN IP ADDRESS OR YOUR NOIP HOSTNAME TOGETHER WITH THE PORT WILL BE ABLE TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS OF YOUR MINER.

GOOD LUCK setting up remote control.

P/S: Please feel free to pin this up or quote this if you think it's useful.
