Having some questions about the Gridseed blade 40chip verision,

Trying to get the BTC mode to work but the sha256 hashrate sucks compare to the chip spec.

In the datasheet gor the GC3355 u can se spec. https://github.com/gridseed/gc3355-doc/blob/master/GC3355_DataSheet.pdf
Quote
Key feature:
160 BTC Units
4 LTC Units
BTC mode up to 2.25G/s BTC Hash Rate, with 2.4W/GHash
LTC mode up to 60K/s LTC Hash Rate
Due-Coin mode up to 1.75G/s BTC Hash Rate + 60K/s LTC Hash Rate, or up to 2.25G/s BTC Hash
Rate + 38K LTC Hash Rate

How do i calculate the hashrate from that spec Huh
in my mind if a board has 40 chip and 1 chip has a hashrate in sha256 mode 2.25G the total for one board has to be around 80G ?

i only get 8-10G

I have a few of these.  What pools/coins are you going to use them on?

I have a gridseed blade single 40 chip, it has stoped lighting up the green light and has stopped turning in work, The #'s in cg miner look like it is hashing.
The red light just blinks once every second. Is there a porblem with the 5v circut? and is there an easy fix for this issue?

I have a problem where I am mining a scrypt coin and then restart to mine a SHA256 coin and doesn't seem to enter SHA256 mode and speed.  I even unplugged both cords for about 30 seconds and this wouldn't restart it.  Anyone have information on this?

Hey everyone I'm a Linux newbie and was able to get my hands on 4 of the old 3355 5 chips miners, so I got a PI and followed this guide: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5305449

With effort I was able to do everything until I used this

Code:
sudo ./minerd  --gc3355=/dev/ttyACM0 --freq=800 --url=stratum+tcp://hash-to-coins.com:3333 --userpass=lulz:u

And did get an output with lots of yellow lines but when I go to the website to see my hash rate I see a big fat 0

1. I'm using and old computer power supply wonder if it has got enough juice https://postimg.org/image/qzo2e8cu5/

2. Run into some errors while installing the miner wonder if I got the right libs or controllers...

3.This is the output https://postimg.org/image/96h0cw807/

4. I'm using  HUB and wonder if the that is reaching the miner

Really hope you can help guys feels really stupid having the gear, coming this far and not mining.

Hello...

I'm using a Lightning ASIC Gridseed 5-chip USB...
I'm using cgminer with Gridseed support... This is the version... https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer
I'm running on a PC with Ubuntu as my OS...

What I need is how to tell cgminer where my Gridseed is located...

Could anyone please help me with a command line... or at least the part that will tell cgminer where my miner is?

I use this command line with cpuminer and it works but not well... So I'm hoping by switching to cgminer I'll get better results...

sudo ./minerd --freq=600 --gc3355=/dev/ttyACM0 --url=stratum+tcp://us.clevermining.com:3333 --userpass=19p1Prq7UZzf2XY9Wf42GJbxHvPVr2jLiw:x

Thanks in advance for any help...

How do I set up more than 1 COM PORT on .bat file?

I have two gridseeds, my .bat is like that:

Code:
minerd.exe --dual --freq=800 --gc3355=COM5,COM2 -o stratum+tcp://POOL:PORT -u X.X -p X -t 1

But it is not working

Thanks

Having to work off of memory, so this might not be right.

Awesome indeed, but not sure if they're from the owner... The pictures come from the old Gridseed website and from a chinese forum Grin One of those pictures is from a guy who said he had, if I'm not mistaken, 800 5 chip's...

Even 13,09 euro you're not going to earn back with that thing Wink

Yeah, pretty bad! Good old days when you made a nice buck with a few of these units Smiley

Any one worked out some details about the ... wiibox software ... ?

I did a translation of the web interface.

https://i.imgur.com/J1zcQGg.png

It seems a little empty in the GUI interface of the 2.02 version an overall hashrate and a single per miner hashrate would be a good start ....

gona dig into the software ...

1.Can you tell translate this software, this is not simple setting?
2.can u help me wiibox.net cant open in my country BLOCK, always Looking Up www.wiibox.net?
3.can iam mining with local area only, without connect to wiibox.net?

HI
is there someone who can tell me how to run gridseed 5 chip and blade together?

Unfortunately you can't. You'll need to put them on separate RPi's
neither using -d 1,2,3 etc...?

As far as I know there was a problem with the mismatch between the amount of chips. The Blades would easily go down when to many chips failed.
