Any ETA when btc payment option will be added to the desktop wallets and when Prime development will continue?

For questions regarding ETA's we have a special channel at our Slack, but only available to shares.gulden.com funders.

Good you are still answering questions after the funding, I didn't fund because it's not possible to bring out updates faster. Adding bitcoin merchant payments to the desktop wallets looks to be taking 2 months, like it took for the Android and iOS wallets. Credit to the developers who did the Android and iOS wallets as they are better performing then any other ones I have used, including bitcoin!

You haven't learned a single thing in the past 2 years, haha. Fun to watch you and most here squirm though!

Gulden has been the fastest developing alt I own in the last 12 months. investeerder have more faith , many bagholders of other currencies wish they had this development team that has dedicated itself to one currency. It's already the most usable alt coin and with the desktop wallets getting btc payment option will make it more usable from all wallets.

Then the big project called PRIME on the roadmap which will bring in more users for Gulden then any other project in Guldens history.

Why is this not being seen by more people? Is it because of poor marketing?

It's amazing how people here on BCT know more about what I'm busy doing with my time than I myself do, is there a hidden spy camera somewhere in my house from which you extract this information, or are we blessed to have an entire community of powerful psychics?
Perhaps you guys could tell me what numbers to bet on in the next Lotto?

For those looking for more stimulating conversations please come join us on slack.

I got a new user into Gulden from Germany, was easy when showing him the android wallet. I tested the android wallet restore from the backup phrase and it worked good, it feels as safe as the desktop wallets but am I right or is the desktop wallets safer?

The Android wallet with password is fully encrypted so is pretty safe (as long as you store/copy the recovery phrase in a sensible way that it won't be compromised). For the most part they are equivalent in terms of security.

The main difference I guess, is whether your desktop computer or Android phone are more likely to be compromised by hostile software, as this would be the only threat to either, from this perspective it depends a lot on usage patterns (whether the Android phone is rooted) what sort of apps you install on it etc.
As a general rule of thumb I'd say on average that the average desktop computer is more secure than the average mobile phone. For a reasonable amount of coins I'd not be too concerned, if I were storing my life savings then perhaps it would be a bit more concerning.

Development is unique here in cryptoland, Guldenteam has a bigger picture in mind for longterm. Shortterm there will be lots of incoming interest soon, i think, with the upcoming updates. Development is already funded: https://developer.gulden.com/roadmap/

For people that don't know yet:
Userfriendly apps to pay with Gulden at all Gulden- and bitcoin stores. Also wire tranfer possible to IBAN. All paying in an instant.
No other coin has all this in 1 app and it will even get better.

Lol, what a non-discussion about Poloniex. Most of coins listed there that haven't even good android and iOS-apps. Guldenapps are unique already and will even get better. Gulden offers users userfriendly things for real life use, not just for getting listed on exchanges for hyping or just for traders sake.Says enough what Poloniex is about: they don't like real innovation, probably are misinformed about Gulden or they are not fully aware what is going on here. Or maybe cryptocompetitors or the crypto inner circle don't want to get Gulden listed. Strange indeed. Poloniex will come by itself in time to add, i think or maybe they never will, then it says enough Wink You can always send them a request.
Place to go for now is bittrex: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-NLG or https://nocks.co/ to get your Gulden.

The development team look to be doing a update every 2 months from the start of the year, my guess is end of August for the wallet update and if I take another guess it's adding btc payments to the wallets to have it on all wallets. This is going to be cool.

End of October for the whitepaper project. Happy days!

It's 3 wallets they need to get btc payments working on. Windows , OSX and Linux. I bet the team will also have wire transfers like the mobile wallets.

The one time saver for the wallet update is they already exist where the mobile wallets had to be developed from scratch. With the boost funding complete I can't see it taking more then 1 and a half months to add these 2 features.
PRIME1 is innovative and will take more then 6 months to complete with the Whitepaper.

PRIME1 was 6 year project before boost?

What do you recommend for lunch by the way?

What promotional content has the team prepared for the roadmap? Don't be another Myriad where they innovate and dgb copy and market and they have higher value.

Stickers, a forum, posters, t-shirts and I will do talks in my swim short on roller skates.

What about a bus stop campaign in Amsterdam. AUR at 1.3 million value after the campaign.

That's way out of our league. You are comparing elites with us amateurs.

The crypto elites will steal your ideas and make more money. You have to do marketing!

Gulden is not going for mainstream acceptance but a small niche market. Marketing is not needed if you don't care about growth and is a waste of money.

Don't ask us, you here on BCT know more about our plans and daily activities then we ourselves could ever hope to know, I'm sure you can just consult your tarot cards and make it all up like you usually do.

The funding was never to speed up development but to stop the developers from running off. Dump every 2 months at the top and buy back low.
