@all: download repo is the same repo than last release. We have now centralized that so future releases are always there (please do not share the link here to not have too many nulled copies). If anyone have doubts, please PM me.

Optional Update v.1.2 - Release name: "#SWAG"

Changelogs:

- implemented stop-loss as a security margin
- you can now trade shitcoins with this release at higher rates (tested up to 4% of GAIN). For your own sake set a security margin lower than your    GAIN.
- once the security margin is reached, the bot liquidates all coins of that pair, deletes all sell orders and closes the trade: you should then stop trading on that coin
- attempt to fix a bug reported by Swag that would prevent coin to be sold if poloniex order book didnt sell them all: we dont force fees at 0.15 anymore.
- minor code refactor for the new GUI

Please report any bug immediately!

Got to admit still a steep learning curve for me even trying to follow on from all the posts in this thread but I can (prematurely) summarise that Gunbot:

1. Has great support and response. Probably the best thing about it.
2. Is built for rapidfire trading, but still not the fire and forget bot I require. Manual intervention needed if want to release funds for more trades.
3. may not be suitable for wildly trading alts.

Still watching!

Yes i do think post-sale support is a winning factor of any product and i try to put a lot of effort on it. Manual intervention are being tuned (thanks to customers feedbacks too): actualy we introduced a check for BTC/USD pumps and a check for altcoin's pumps and dumps as well, that would avoid to buy coins too far away from a reasonable market price. Still improving!
On the Telegram group we are discussing and implementing an algo for wildly trading alts: actually i'm testing on VTC, PINK, QTL, DCR, NEOS, UNITY and others. Might be a surprise!

I would use 2 different accounts to trade the same coin against different pairs.

Could you please explain what you mean with same coin against different pairs?
e.g. most are trading BTC against different alts simultaneous on the same account

I think he meant something like; ETH/BTC, XMR/ETH, ETH/USDT etc.? Like arbitrage trading.

Correct.

Gun, calm down buddy you are going to give you are self an aneurysm, lol. Your, bot is still the best bot available for sale here, just trying to offer constructive criticism.

First you never said 15 minute was ever the only profitable with the 2EMA, at least not to me.  You mentioned the only candles it supports are the ones on poloniex, 5 15 etc. Backtesting on tradingview I can show 2EMA works with 5 and 1 Min candles even(if were available to gunbot) with the right settings and pairs, but most pairs do perform better with 15 yes. My point with having you use the 5Min chart on tradingview strategy i put together, is how far back it goes on the 5 min chart for backtesting, but by all means use the 15Min chart you are going to end up with same situation of sitting for weeks. In fact using the 15 min chart looking at the trade history on backtesting shows it would of been stuck waiting on XMR to recover from October 2 till December 27th. That is a ton of missed trade opportunities.

How long should you wait out this swing? Like I said in an earlier thread I have been testing this against a bot I wrote with autoview that is actually capable of taking small losses and moving on. Comparing the two accounts is a stark difference. My bot in autoview had long dug out of this latest swing while gunbot still has pairs hodl'ing.

Hodl, is ok if you are fine tying up that portion of your portfolio till it finds its way out, but if you can enter dozen or hundreds of trades even where you would of been hodl'ing for say a mere 1% gain or similar it seems like the smarter move is to sell so as to continue trading.

Got to admit still a steep learning curve for me even trying to follow on from all the posts in this thread but I can (prematurely) summarise that Gunbot:

Code:
WE recently added 2 more checks: BTC/USD pumps would stop the bot from buying until the pump is going on (to protect you from altcoins dumps during BTC/USD pumps)  and BTC/ALTCOIN pumps would stop the bot from buying to not make you buy coins on top of a pump and then sit for weeks to wait for sell orders to fullfill.

With what rules did you implement this?

Not trolling.Let me figure out how to send the data

it wasnt for you.

You can download your trading history from poloniex as a csv file and upload it at https://filebin.net/

THank you, going to analyze that soon

Guys....you really need to stop trading altcoin pumps with your bot. You lost 29USD with NSR which is at -17% and SYS which is at -9%. Please (it is not only your case) STOP trading coins that can go at -50% in minutes. It is plenty of WARNINGs on this thread and bot rules about this....i feel sorry for your money.
This is your trading analysis on cointracking

Thanks , I'm pretty sure BTC- NSR popped up as recommended to trade when I started the bot . I didn't know what NSR was prior to that

I am thinking about purchasing this or C.A.T. Has anybody here used both?

Off-topic. They do 2 different things. I'm pretty sure you can have a good profit with CAT too but as i said i woudnt use this thread to compare because quite possible we cant have an answer from other devs in this thread, so any of our opinions here about other bots would be possibly FUD or not verifiable.
Thanks for understanding.
~Gun

Would you mind explaining the differences? They both seem to be automated alt-coin trading programs, except that gunbot is poloniex only. Do they use different strategies?

And one more question: how much btc would you recommend to start with for gunbot on an established coin?

As i said: off topic so no, i think i cant explain differences in this thread. The strategy GUNBOT uses is based on 2 indicators called EMA1 and EMA2. The bot would buy when the price of the altcoin goes below both EMA1 and EMA2 and would place a sell order at bought price + % GAIN you set in configs.
~Gun

Thank you very much for your prompt responses. I will trade manually to learn more about the markets/coins and buy this with my next paycheck. What would be a good amount of bitcoins for the bot to start with? or does it not matter?

Have a good night/day. Cheers

You can trade with any amount of BTC. OF course 1% of 1 BTC is different from 1% of 10BTC Wink
Yes, i always suggest to trade manually this strategy to checks it is valid. THen, if you like it, you can buy a bot to do what you did manually, 24/7.
Hope it helped.
