This is the new scam procedure nowadays, many people already fall for it. The way these scammers do this, people can easily fall into this trap. Recently Binance CEO talked about this scam nature in a medium post. Everyone should do the same to create awareness about this scam. I saw BCH and Ripple scam streaming recently, even their youtube channel logo looks very genuine!

Scammers always need something to show off so that people will have interest, the only thing is too good to be true offers, we've post many posts about offers that are too good to be real on this forum but many wants to try their luck out in the hope of making quick money

That's the wrong path some people choose! There is no quick money, sometimes you can earn it but next time you will lose more than your earnings! Any random people who have enough idea to sort out things and verify the reality they won't fall in these scams. To be honest, I have been getting this type of scam offer since 2017, never fall for that trap! So, we should spread awareness to protect the newbie and greedy people from these scams!
Fraudsters are using different approaches to deceive people, the problem is few people don't analyze the possible result of their choices so they end up being victimized. They don't even bother doing research to ensure that it is legit and profitable that is the reason why they fall into the tricks of scammers. They just let their greediness affects their way of thinking, let's just hope that people particularly newbies will be cautious that it was a strategy by the scammers that can be used against them.

SmartFi - EARN, LEND & TRADE
As the crypto community become smart, scammers are not just sitting there. They are making new plans to scam people. Recently a smart scam idea they whelp and that is youtube live streaming! Lots of people are falling those scams even one of my crypto mentors shared that link to participate!

Scammers are hacking youtube channels which have at least 10K subscribers to 80K! Then they collect some famous crypto meetup or interview videos! Later they make live streaming with that downloaded video, and announce a giveaway of 100K BTC or 100K ETH, BCH, XRP and so on! Can you imagine how smart this shit idea is? However, at the corner or left side of that live streaming they add a live transaction banner where you can see that if you send 1 Ethereum, you will get 5 or 10 Ethereum instantly!

If you ever fall in that trap means you are done, you fall in the scam and lost your money forever! Guys, be aware, always check a coin's official twitter handle to verify every giveaway! Don't fall in the scam, let scammers cry and die!

From my own perspective this is what greed causes. Like how can you have 1 ETH and another is promising you 10Eth for free without you working for it? Even the rich guys don't go about wasting their wealth. Lack of contentment leads to greed and greed leads to being scammed. Instead of sending that Eth without being sure you will get a return (of which you wil not) why not taking it to the exchange and buying a coin which might give you a good return sooner or later on. Let's be careful of what we see and hear because scammers are getting smart everyday.

Yes, this is another scam that's becoming popular now. They caught a lot of victims that sent Ethereum to their addresses and sadly, those victims has no means to retrieve their funds anymore. IIRC, this has been posted already somewhere in beginners and it's a continuous flow for the scammers until they had enough from the victims. What everyone can do is when you see a livestream like that on YouTube, just report it quickly to YT themselves.

I don't think they would want to send their assets in large numbers to participate in a fraud campaign like that, but what I highlighted is that fraudsters have now done something crazy, even they are targeting a YouTube account that has nothing to do with cryptocurrency. Now there are many big youtube account hacked, all must be aware of that

this is a new level. Hacking YouTube channels is very bad. people have been working for years to find their audience on YouTube. make quality content for people to watch their channel. I believe that such scammers are some of the worst .. I really waiting when the time comes without scammers

There will be no time without scammers! And no scammer is good, everyone is the worst and they deserve hell. They hack youtube channel, they hack exchange money, all the bad staffs they do only to steal people's hard-earned money! This type of scam/hack we should protect by ignoring all the unknown people, their links, and make a decision everyone should verify by following the project's twitter, blog, forums!

You are right, scams succeed only because they look like genuine. Scammers are becoming smarter taking advantage of new technologies they will convince you to give your assets, always consider these people as scammers if dealing with unknown people's. Don't rush to make money in crypto be alert to the fact that scam still exist in the world.

And when there are many people who want to try their luck in the hope of making fast money, that's where sometimes scammers can freely move in recruiting new victims and this is very common at this time, so we all need to be more careful in seeing and responding to each the offer exhibited by these scammers.

The one question I ask myself right now is, if I have up to 1 BTC will I ever send it out to get it doubled? I never worked for it, this is not trading, it will be first thing that will come to my mind, greediness in people is what makes them fall for all this crap schemes
Yes, in all things we are not required to be greedy, because greediness will result in loss for oneself, both in trade and in other cases, because when someone is greedy will be a good bait for scammers.

Our security and knowledge about different scams is increasing but we are not aware that the scammers too are developing and thinking a new way/s in order to scam just like this kind of recent scams that's happening that's why even though we knew a famous youtuber or other social media celebrity we should take care since they are also immune to hacking and might use their account in order to deceive others.
