Haasbot 1.3.0.0 has been released! Heres whats in this update:

- New trade indicator added: SMA and EMA added (equal to MA and MACD, but with swing. Tip check the reverse signals for this one!)
- New trade indicator added: Weighted Moving Average (WMA) added
- New trade indicator added: Commodity Channel Index (CCI) added (Advanced licenses first, it will come to simple too on the coming updates)
- Changed trade indicator: Swing setting added to DEMA and TEMA

Ok great! If I leave the Cryptsy API turned on it kills my limited internet quota before the end of the month which sucks! Hopefully you guys can sort out why it uses so much!

I prefer polo or bittrex to cryptsy simply because of the api but that is my personal opinon.

We will try and see if there is a solution for Cryptsy but their api is not the best.

Excellent work so far on the Bot! Trading is improving all the time
I had to turn off the Cryptsy API tho as it is still using far too much data for me. Like almost 10GB per day compared to a few 100Mb on Bitrex and BTC-e. Any ideas how to fix this so I can keep trading on Cryptsy?

We have just released Haasbot version 1.2.0.0!
This release builds upon our work that we had done in version 1.1.0.0 but takes it a step further. This release implements a few new features, such as Bitfinex Double Margin and includes new altcoin pairs on all of the exchanges!

- Double Margin Trading at Bitfinex - This allows users with Bitfinex accounts to trade 100% with leverage. That means opening longs (and closing shorts) on Buy Signals and opening shorts (and closing longs) on Sell Signals! How would that open the door for scamming and system manipulation?
I am only asking for a version of your bot that is not able to make real trades, so I can just test how the software works, if it feels right, etc. I don't need live data for that. Without being able to trade I don't see how you can scam or manipulate anything.
Tradewave is offering free backtests but when I want to make real trades I have to pay a monthly fee, which is completely logical. Problem with Tradewave is that is needs more time to set up.

I understand your point but we do not offer a free trial or a "tester" of our software. If you are interested, you can try out a beginners license for 3 months, which costs .15 btc. Based on your experiences there, you can always upgrade to the simple/advanced license.

I really like the idea of the haasbot but something that is making me indecisive is that I'd like to test it's functionality first before buying anything. With testing I mean just clicking around and doing a backtest. Not being able to trade is OK.
I understand that you would like to try it out a bit before you purchase haasbot, but we do not offer a free trial. Offering that just opens up the door for scamming and ways to manipulate the system. Haasbot is a legit product and this latest update brings in new features that no other commercial bot has, such as leveraged trading at bitfinex and the addition of supporting virtex (as well as 10 other exchanges and over 500 altcoins).

I really like the idea of the haasbot but something that is making me indecisive is that I'd like to test it's functionality first before buying anything. With testing I mean just clicking around and doing a backtest. Not being able to trade is OK.

Haasbot version 1.1.0 has been released! This is a major update that includes many new features. Below is a summery of our major features and you can find out more about this release on our blog post.
- Virtex Bitcoin and Litecoin Exchange Now Supported - Virtex is a growing bitcoin and litecoin exchange that allows traders to trade USD/BTC, Euro/BTC, USD/LTC, and Euro/LTC. Their volume is growing and we have decided to add Virtex to the supported exchange list. Virtex has a very fast API and low latency, which is great for Haasbot users.
- Bitfinex Leveraged Trading - You will be able to use the Margin/Leveraged trading feature on Bitfinex via trade bots. This will allow users to automate leveraged trading with 2 options, one of which is available in this version. The first option (which is available now) is allowing a user to only execute a long/short trade and close it, based on the trade signals. The second option (which is not available yet, but it will be supported in the future) is to execute both long and short trades, where a long will be created on buy signals and a short will be created on sell signals. Haasbot will automatically close the long/short positions before creating the opposite trade type.
- Local Cache Server - This adds another layer to our price tracking system, so that backtests and indicator tests can be ran locally on the users machine instead of sending a query to our price tracking server. This should provide a boost in performance and make it easier to test trading strategies.
- Sandbox API - The Sandbox API acts as a "fake API," where you can run live tests on the exchange of your choice, without any trades being executed. This is a way that Haasbot users can test their strategies with live price data, without having to actually trade it. This will be useful for testing market condition specific trading strategies without executing any trades.
- Trade Now Button in Classic Interface - A Trade Now button will appear in the classic interface, which will then pop open a trading window, which allows a user to quickly execute Market or Limit orders on any of the exchanges they are trading on. This allows for a quick buy/sell in case the market conditions quickly change and a user wants to manually execute an order.
- Performance Increase - Version 1.1.0 (some aspects may be included in earlier builds) will have an increase in performance. This is due to a few additions, such as the addition of the price push api's from the exchanges, as well as other additions.
