In a shocking turn of events, an anonymous hacker has once again returned stolen ETH tokens to CoinDash – a tool aiming to help users manage, track, analyze, and “get a bird’s eye view” of their crypto assets.
Why they stole if they had to return ? I always find these cases suspicious:
1) I think exchanges may be involved in this. This might be done to get in news and it is sad to see businesses using these cheap tactics to attract more customers.
2) Some possibility is that the hacker was a security researcher and did this to demonstrate the security vulnerability on the site. This is why all exchanges should have a bounty program to reward security researchers. For instance, coinbase has a program on hackerone for this.

Heartless set of human. They is no joy on them, even ready to collect more, if the ETH wallet are still receiving fund or coins, still ready to collect. That is why blockchain wallet (btc) is still the best, because is well secured and back off with email and login private key can be changed any time.

Yeah, any statement should be backed with proofs. But I'm really surprised that there are many cases when hackers return stolen crypto... I'm glad that there are a lot of kind and honest people but I wonder what drive them to do it?

But, if the "hackers" are really hackers, maybe they just did it to test themselves and show the people what they've got - their hacking skills. I sum it up as hacking just for fun.
If you can steal a million dollars from someone else's wallet at any time, then you can afford to return some of the funds to create a positive image.
Might be an inside job and the coindash has tracked the hacker so that person was forced to send it back because his life would be in danger,or he is just testing the vulnerabilities of coindash,or he is just trippin around because he want to try if he can find a way to steal those ethereum,but this is really something new,very unusual because if you steal that amount of ethereum you could live and buy anything you want.
Not sure about that, as you can see there were some scam projects just like ebitz opair and flex coin which stolen more than 25 million dollars. And they were never getting tracked by the way.To track the hackers it not easy. The fact that with the encryption of SHA and it makes crypto becomes more difficult to be tracked. I just gonna see where that will be going on.
