I have an accound in
Blockchain.com
and I bought more than 0.71 bitcoin and sent it to them
but Blockchain did not Protect my account and the hacker login my account and stole my funds
but google website protected my account from the hacker and also yahoo website
blockchain is very bad because they did not protect my account

Base on your explanation, I observed and realized that you are new to the crypto space. Bitcoin wallet is all about your security settings. For a hacker to have access to your account, it means your security setting is as weak as the bone of an ant. Please add various authenticators and verification medium to your account whenever you create a cryptocurrency account and wallets. Hackers are always ready to hack weaker security protected wallets and accounts.

Forget about how much you lost your money at your blockchain account, next time always use google authicator for all of your exchange account, many people could hack your gmail account and more easy to take back your exchange account, better use google authicator.

This is the con of Bitcoin, once a transaction goes through there is no coming back. At least with a credit card case you could call you bank, but you can't call Satoshi.

This is what makes the transaction immutable, it is not a con - it's a feature.

If you could reverse a transaction then it would not be decentralized, it would be a glorified PayPal.

The onus is on the user to have the personal responsibility to assure:

1. They are secure
2. They send the right amount of funds to the right address

This is terrible, but I hope you know that we can't get your Bitcoin back from Hackers. But I believe that Blockchain has protected your Bitcoin, maybe your computer has been hacked, and personal information has stolen, and this may be the cause of your stolen Bitcoin.

Hello,
I'm very sorry to hear about this. You may have some type of malware on your computer
that resulted in your funds being stolen because your private information was somehow
obtained. One of the most common types of these are browser extensions posing as
bitcoin price tickers that are actually stealing your account information. There's also the
possibility that you visited a phishing site posing as Blockchain. We've also heard of
computer viruses that detect when an address is in your clipboard, and replace the one you
wanted to use with an address controlled by this malicious party.
By design, Blockchain never has access to users' accounts or funds. If you keep your
password and private key backups secure, then your funds are always safe with us. Since
this information has been compromised, be sure to never use this wallet or any addresses
contained within it. I'd also highly advise against using the same password again. I'm truly
sorry that you had funds stolen from you. That certainly is an extremely frustrating
experience.

You were actually responsible in every action that you take. We must very careful in giving data especially in this technology, we should protect our important information especially our accounts. You cannot blame the blockchain.

There are a lot of great hacker nowadays, so even you use or install the greatest or the most secured online wallet in your phone hackers will still find a way to steall all of your funds, so you should better try hardware wallets like ledger because no one can access it except you.

No one can protect your account unless you take additional measures to protect your own account.
It's not about yahoo, google or any other site, it's just you who is responsible.
I think it's not appropriate to blame blockchain.com for your own negligence.

Hacker stole my funds from blockchain
I think you should not blame Blockchain.com. They can not provide security as offline wallets. It is possible to use 2FA as far as I know and this is huge mistake you made. Anyway this is a sign of being more careful in the future. You should consider this as a gain not as a loss. Loss could have been bigger.
Another learn to experience thing mate, this will serve as warning to be always careful in every sites we Are visiting because this can be used by hackers to enter you system.sorry for the loss but thats the waybit used to be since this is the most common ways on victimizing cryptonians.

Blockchain.info was some how better, since the website was upgraded to blockchain.com so many people are having the problem. My friends have the same experience. I am scared of depositing any fund there.
To avoid such confusions and getting under the traps of hackers it is good to bookmark the respective page which will let the user reach the right landing page whenever he use the blockchain. I've been following the same process and haven't got under any such technical hacks.

blockchain.com is more upgraded because its a nice site and has a new domain extension ( .dotcom )    , they also support a new coin called xlm ( strllar lumens ) .  so far i did not experience an issue regarding on their site  .

The blockchain.com wallet is not responsible in case your funds are lost in your wallet.
Because they do not hold your wallet password and they have no access to our accounts. So we can not blame the blockchain if we lose our funds.

And why not ?  If they dont hold our balance then who do you think holds it  ?  They are centralized , which means they  overall controll the data and money of their users  . all exchange / wallets do have a responsible for their users    .  they can be call a scam if they dont want to respond from their costumers query .

Like others have said, web based wallets are not trustworthy for a number of reasons, and weak passwords can be cracked. When you use a web wallet you are relying on a trusted third party, whereas bitcoin is supposed to be about trust minimization.

This is very unfortunate. This is one of the downside of crypto , getting back your money is nest to impossible. Unlike for banks/fiat there is quite a bigger chance to get it back and trace who stole your money. This is why 2FA and other security addons are present in most site, hackers/scammera are also evolving together with the technology , so we should be very careful.

Bitcoin online wallets are really vulnerable to hackers, there are only few bitcoin online wallets that have high security. Blockchain wallet have also high security, I think the reason why there is someone stole your bitcoins is because you access in a phishing site or you have malware to your computer.
