Why are they reporting device settings? Will the mining be with the browser? Has this setting influenced the hash power?

Hi luksbit, thanks for visiting us again!

HADRON mining will be in-browser right in our https://hadron.cloud/dashboard

Mining rate will be determined by your CPU, GPU (optional), and network connection.

Alpha mining caps will be determined by Proof of Caring (see dashboard).  luksbit, you were one of our earliest supporters on page 2, we'd love to see you in the alpha mining.

Everyone, thanks for your patience as we review your applications, we will respond to each one in order.

What is the maximum number of coins there is going to be and can you use asics with this thru browser

Long answer: While not technically an ASIC, an Nvidia Volta most probably outperforms any commercially available processor for compatible deep learning computations.  If you want to try a Volta for Hadron alpha mining, please tell us how it does!  (And then send it to us!)

Are you saying Hadron can be mined using GPU? Via the browser? Or is it ASIC/GPU-resistant like Nimiq claims to be? (at least that's how I understand the information from Nimiq, I might be wrong)

Yes, HADRON coins can be mined using a GPU in your browser if you are running a modern browser like Chrome in a well supported OS like Windows 10.

Our code is GPU accelerated, but can also run without a GPU.

We are running useful AI computations in a browser, not repetitive cryptographic hash puzzles.  That gives our mining inherent value to miners and to society, in general.

Thanks for your excellent question!
