Totally agree.  I've also experienced losses that shouldn't have happened.  I'm following what some of the accounts I've followed on Instagram and Twitter have said.  I think they are crypto enthusiasts and they are responsible for what they say.  I think it's better to follow our own instincts and choose based on what we believe in ourselves.  At least it's our own choice, not just because of the FOMO the influencers have caused.  Because I think a lot of them don't really understand crypto and just to increase the number of views and earn profit for themselves.
You just follow them if they have something good to say that will encourage you as you invest and trade.

But you don't solely rely your decisions on them because they're not financial advisors and even an actual financial advisor says, you don't wholly base your decisions on them.

There's only a handful influencer that you'll respect because they're genuine like Andreas but majority of them, they're all clickbaiters and hype makers.

Do you mean that they're "paid influencers"? Oh boy, this is why I avoid many crypto youtubers. Along with the monetization composed of unskippable ads, their desperation to shill a project without even trying to look bad is just so funny.
Claiming to be knowledgeable with the current trends these days, but don't know crap about the technology inside of it.

theirs is to promote a project through popularities, after all, it is a platform for advertising and learning but ours is to make concrete research before investing. know what the project is all about and not just what advertisers make available through a youtube video. bitcoin is a coin that has proven itself over time, so it encourages that one should put some major part of his/her investment in either bitcoin or Ethereum.

Even the youtubers that you love and think trusty.

Coinbereu : He all the time recommended on terra luna. He recommended it on the shitcoin Netvrk and put it on the list of metaverse best projects.

Sheldon Evans: Open youtube video terra luna to $1000 and never take responsibility for his mistakes.

Jrnycrypto -  Said that Sand token will be top 10 in 2022, dogecoin will be $1, ada will be $10 in 2021 and many wrong calls.

they are all bums.
Chillax man, they are only humans and they can make mistakes too and even myself I almost believed that luna was among the top project before. I think they only experience an unexpected problem there, that is why their coins collapsed but if that didn't happened I think they are still going strong. Sand token is also a good project and there is still a chance for this coin to be in the top 10 soon since metaverse is still there and it was still kinda new.

There might be surprises for dogecoin and ada because you know Elon already bought twitter and maybe he can make dogecoin as its official currency. Market have also not recovered but when it does, maybe ada can now be on that expected price.

You own the pen
Influencers are also investors in certain projects and most of them are pain influencers to say that they aren't connected to the coins they are praising, that's a total lie that's why you really need to do your own research when it comes to this one because investing with money is crucial and you might lose everything you have just by doing one wrong decision just like what happened to the investors of Terra Luna coins which is the biggest issue right now. All investors should not use all their life savings when it comes to investing in this brutal volatility market if they want to preserve their life when something goes wrong.

Youtubers are not from future, they are just doing it for the views from that only their income is based so all they will tell is lucrative then only people will be interested on their contents so they will get more engagement. The real lesson is make your own decision, you are not supposed to buy dogecoin because Elon saying that it will be the future.

Youtubers, like us cannot predict where the market will go in the future. They are just trying to monetize views or get paid to do it. To survive in the cryptocurrency market, you should not listen to anyone, make your own informed decisions. The money is ours and should not be given to others to spend.

Always be careful with the coins that Elon mentions, they can be dumped at any time. He is also an investor and is trying to make a profit.

that's because the YouTuber or influencer is being paid to entice a lot of buyers into the asset they purchased first. when many people buy the price can go up and they can sell it.
I've also had the same experience. luckily the loss was not that big because I put SL in anticipation if the price plunged very deeply.
after that I no longer trust them.

1, Never  listen to YouTubers they are bums .
Most of the YouTubers who publish analyzes and reviews about crypto projects are paid by the team of the promoted project, so they are only interested in promoting in order to get money, they have nothing to do with you making a profit from your investment or losing your money, not all of them but the majority do, so you have Do not rely entirely on an analysis or recommendation from any YouTuber, regardless of his experience in this field, and make your investment decision after reviewing the token and seeing its community and its developments, and you should know that after what happened to the Luna coin, many analysts were disappointed, This proves that the crypto market cannot be expected.

well, listening to youtubers is a mistake, because not all youtubers will actually provide the right information about price movements that will occur. most of youtubers sometimes just looking for content for their youtube. other than that, it's the same as speculation on telegram group or tiktok. quite a lot of contrived things to attract the audience there.
From the very beginning I got to know crypto, I knew bitcoin was the best of it all. You can also see that the price changes that occur in bitcoin actually affect other altcoins. this makes him the king of crypto.
however, the hardest part is making a decision. it really determines whether you profit or not. however, I'm also often confused about this. In fact, I've missed ATH several times, or sometimes sold at a loss because I was confused by this. The point is, when you have made a profit, you need to secure a portion of the profit you made.

listen to you

Why does it take you two years to learn that, you need to do your own research when things that you want to know when investing in the Cryptocurrency market are already written on the wall.
Youtubers are paid shillers or bag holders they only care about their investment and the money they are going to receive from their sponsors, you can listen to them but follow your instinct based on your own research.

Well, you are right not to follow the youtubers, it is always good that each decision that is made is based on your own argument and not because of the analysis made by another, although you can hear what they say, it is not a guarantee that they will be the only ones that they are right, I have never been a person who follows the advice of an influencer, and even less of a certain Elon Musk, because really for me he does not have much importance, I see him as an opportunistic person, what is more I see him as the wolf ferocious in the story of little red riding hood, something like that I see him, of course it's my way of thinking and many thanks to OP for sharing his wisdom.

It is very natural that newbies make mistakes by making decisions because they are influenced by other people's opinions. Because when we first
get to know crypto and start investing, quite a lot of people don't have good knowledge about crypto. Finally, take a short step by following
the opinions of youtubers or influencers to decide what coins we will buy. Even though most youtubers or influencers promote certain coins only
for their personal interests.

If you are not one of those people who follow other people's opinions when deciding on an investment, it means that what you are doing is right.
Unfortunately not everyone can be like you, because there are still so many people who make decisions based on other people's opinions.
Therefore, we should not be surprised if we find meme coins or shitcoins that suddenly pump high, because to be honest there are still many investors
who are influenced by other people's words, which the person only uses to do pump and dump. Indeed, investing in crypto should rely on our own
abilities, because only ourselves can be trusted in the crypto world.

2. BTC is the king. The ratio should be like BTC/ETH 80%  rest alts.

3. Make a decision - When big opportunities knock the door make decisions fast.  trust your gut. Examples are Elon musk shill dogecoin first time. Facebook change the name to Meta. You have to make a decision when is happening the same day.
Like when you have the opportunity to go out with a girl you like. Make a decision now. All these  waiting and thinking is  killing you.  Think fast.

listen to you
If you want to stay long in crypto, don't trust others for your own sucess. Learn on your own and trust yourself. Those crypto influencers were not really helpful at all. And always invest on the best asset of crypto, bitcoin. You will never be more successful if you keep on playing safe and avoid taking risks. For you to have a bright future in crypto, stick with your own decision and focus on your plans. Otherwise, you will have to regret what you did when you know you are capable of turning things into its most possibilities.

Not only YouTubers but also other influencers from other social media. They only speak based on what they promote or to get something to the hype and tackle their own profits. If we want to take some certain of their advice, take it into your own consideration, but keep it to be a consideration only, not the decision to join buying certain altcoins. Be wise and smart to choose

People will believe this only in the bearish market, when they have faced the bearish era, they will exactly believe about shit coins and will only focus on Bitcoin

YouTubers are there to make money remember so they pump coins that they hodl in large quantity to gain more profit from you because you buy the coins and it will increase in value to give new profit margin to them. If you listening to bloggers or YouTubers you are for great mistake. Do for yourself what is the best for you.
How can you listen to the opinion of those who on YouTube talk about some new cryptocurrency project and urge you to invest in it? We see how in the bounty campaigns there is also the completion of tasks on YouTube. The team of the new project pays their tokens for a good video on YouTube with an advertisement for their project, and they give recommendations on what to say and what material to use. They can say whatever they want, telling how high the new cryptocurrency of this project will soar in price. But we ourselves must critically evaluate everything, and not trust the words.
That is done because people are naive about investment when it comes to making some profit. This is basically something that we should be caring about at this point, because many people think about how investment is risky but if you think investment is risky then wait until how much it costs to not invest at all.

This should be considered a very big deal because you may end up losing money in the investment world, crypto is risky, it is volatile and you may make a ton of money but at the same time there is a good case to be made that not doing it is even more risky and it costs a ton to not have any money in the crypto world, risky for your future.

The lesson I learnt after 7 years in crypto wasnt very hard.

Just have to keep following it. Its very simple. DO WHAT EARLY BTC/ETH BUYERS DID. Buy cheap projects with great teams early like Koinos BEFORE the masses, the influencers, Kevin oLeary, The Mooch and the other people go in them lol

Mcaffee made me literally millions by shilling projects as Verge AFTER I was already in them (BUY THE GOOD PROJECTS EARLY AND CHEAP!)

Like Koinos runs on proof of BURN which uses less energy than POS and is more secure than POW. Win-win. Great team working together since 6 years watch their youtube videos where they talk about the project and their coding. No clickbait just devs talking about their work like youtube should be lol.

Once Influencers find out about Koinos it will go x1000

They need content, they'd do it even for lies. Dirty job indeed.  Grin
I watch them but don't take them into my heart. It's their own opinion about the market and it ain't accurate at all. They are just persuasive or trying to look good and be more inviting so that if ever their viewers will purchase their supported coins they will be part of those who will make profits from the pump.

Bitcoin and Ethereum. No doubt. People seem to forget that whenever they find a hyped cheap coin backed by a billionaire's face and a tweet.  Cheesy
