Hard to sit here and watch our BTC fighting off yet another attack from these twat wads. Our baby is wounded but standing strong.

Godspeed.
Indeed, hardtimes for Bitcoin such as this measures the patience of an investor. If an investor will choose to sell at times like this thatbitd market value is falling, opportunity of earning bigger profit will be gone. Chances are high that if an investor will choose to hold, bigger profit will be earned im the future.

I am still not affected by the dump of bitcoin because I believe on this and I know it will bounce back. This is a great technology that we really need for a better future, and bitcoin will lead us to that way.

I think that it is a hard time for holders because of the sudden rise, and not because of the price fix,and let me explain why:

It is really hard to stay an holder when the coin goes up like that because you will have to watch your profits grow from the side and not to sell.

It is much easier to hold at a loss as you will wait for you to be at the green side which usually happens .
I completely disagree, I do not know why you think that is easier to hold when you have losses, that is one of the hardest things to do and almost no one does it, after a few weeks and months people begin to lose hope and sell their investments thinking there is never going to be a recovery, holding when you are in profits is very easy, the price could go down 50% and I do not care since I will still have huge profits.

I agree with you, it's tough to hold when you're at a loss like I am currently, but it would be a rookie move to sell it now at a loss knowing it's most likely a normal correction as many people here are stating, and that the price will surely (and maybe slowly) climb back up. Hodling is hard when at a loss but necessary.

Actually I think that for a hodler committed to the ideals and technology of bitcoin, the price changes and volatility have always been irrelevant, so they will continue to hold the coin to the end. Actually, the hard times are for the holders motivated by mere speculation, protected under the famous slogan "to the Moon" that today more than ever seems to get too complicated.

That is the problem when you are a holder and also keeping on track of what is happening with the price of bitcoin.
I am always hoping I could forget I have some invested bitcoin but you just cant when your social medias are all about crypto currencies.

It will keep on pulling you to see how much it is.

Long term it is still good so not to worry with these fluctuations. It was hit harder in 2015 and some investors weren't sure if it was ever going to come back to $1000 mark. Now, the trust is more

I just bought some bitcoin at the 19,500 level but I'm not worried. I think it will hit $100,000 in 2018.

Is it really projected to go to 100k?

I do not know what you are talking about the price of bitcoin has gone down somehow but nothing to be alarmed, the price could crash to 3000 dollars and I will not sell any of my bitcoin since that will still be a good price for me, you need to ask yourself the next question, are you willing to hold if bitcoin crashed an 80% in value? If the answer is yes then you are a true holder.

If you are a true hodler you wouldn't care about temporary price dump. Just continue to hold and avoid looking at bitcoin price every minute because
the price will be huge after 1 or 2 years.

Exactly, if a simple price correction worries you then you might need to take medicine because there will be a lot more of correction in the future. Do not be rattled just stick with your plan and focus on your end goal. It will be helpful if you do not check the price everyday.

Don't panic holders. This is a long term investment. The value will increase in no time. We will just need to trust the power of bitcoin.
