Sorry but there a shit load to read and I'm cheating by asking.

First batch didn't got shipped. The deadline for the second batch is getting closer by the second and at this point they could miss it. At least partially.

They are issuing USD refunds of the eq amount when you ordered, but only if you purchased with BTC. you have to sign a treat with the devil if you want an USD refund and you paid with USD, basically giving up every right you had.

Meanwhile IceDrill has received several/4 working units.

Hi guys.

I'm a bit lost on whats happened.

Did first batch get dispatched?  I fear not.  If so, people got any refunds.

Sorry but there a shit load to read and I'm cheating by asking.

"unfortunately i can't speak about the specific fab until the chips comes out and it's working"

What?

(10th time that i watch this video, first time that i realise it)

Edward receiving the wafers (or a printer cartridge, i think that it's still open to discussion)

Are the boards and cases sourced already for the chips to be assembled into?
Yes.
To be more verbose...
Similar to what we did with Uniquify, we have been working extremely closely with both the board manufacturer / assembly house, and with the company that will be assembling the finished Baby Jets and Sierras.

We are in daily, often hourly contact with them.

I'll request pix.

in restrospective, how could this contacting have acted out?

"Wassup dude!"
"Not much, dude. You?"
"Same. Call back in a hour."

Maybe too much of such contacts annihilated all their resources and nobody had time to do real work.

Cuddling, censored, unicorn-shaped troll.
Btw, i've lost the post where the problems with the first sierra received by IceDrill were described. I can't find it in the IceDrill thread, at least. Someone has it? Thanks.
It's not from IceDrill, but probably this is what you were looking for?

hashfast.com was registered 2 days later, yes, and that's interesting.
What's even more interesting is that it was registered by Edward.

They created the "team" in 2 days?

PS: Bonus points awarded if you can identify what's wrong with the following sentence: "Having spent 9 yrs of my own higher educational life in the Bay Area, a new Silicon Valley/Palo Alto based mining development team peaked my interest."
I give up what is wrong with it?

I'm guessing the improper use of "peaked", where he probably meant "piqued"

Bingo! Something no longer learnt during the first 9 years of higher education.

Wasn't it surprising to see who the only poster was that replied to that particular thread? This was back in May, and that article quoted mentions David Neawedde, an associate of James Kottmeier and John Skrodenis, the marketing arm of HashFast.

HashFast.com was registered two days later:

Now, this really gets my GOAT! I just went to Scott's (a.k.a. Long Dong Johnson/Cockmeier) page to jackoff, but he took the images down: http://www.daddysreviews.com/cruise/2013-07-15/scott_tyson_sf

I guess me have to go beddy-by fully loaded tonight. Mongo so sad!

Minus JJ, I think the whole gang is back.

Besides wondering if JJ is James "Long Dong" Johns[t]on, here's another example of Team HashFast's Marketing Arm ripping off people.

Is this hashfast rebranding?  https://mammoth-mining.com/

Great let's order from a company branded after something that is extinct. Can I also order from Dodo Mining?

For a German company, their website is lacking the impressum page which lists the responsables of the company and their full company registration information (address, VAT number). That is more than just a red flag (other than having registered their domain with ID protection just before Xmas 2013)

Did you mean PhotoShopMiner? See my post with images a few posts back.

Doesn't this little Limitations of Liability snippet in the HashFast ToS screw anyone trying to get their full BTC refund? As it says that HashFast's liability cannot exceed the Purchase Price "paid" [at the time of payment.]

Ouch...
Except, they are offering a settlement check of the purchase price + 5%. So we can only assume they have nullified their own limitations by agreeing to offer a higher settlement.

Meanwhile, I know of an ATM in Sweden owned my some 19 year old closely related to HashFast that may be able to liquidate any bitcoins they may still have on account: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/2013-11-15-dise-he-brings-the-bitcoin-atm-to-sweden-335536.

Also, if the purchase price was 50BTC of virtual property...then 50BTC they must return.  Roll Eyes (IMO)

Luckily, for all HashFast investomers, a judge has heard all evidence provided within this thread against an accused once before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLplQWB2S_8
