Has anyone successfully send the claim documents to the court?

I sent mine via EMS, and today I checked the status and it says "Failed Delivery -- Addessee requested collection at Post Office".

So they will collect at the post office, right? How can I know they have received it or not?

Just file the claim online. You will get a number to ref back to.  The most important thing is that the court has your name on record that you are owed money.  If the court needs further clarification as to communications, order numbers ETC they will ask you via mail with the address you listed on the damn claim form.
If Hashfast has a new chip they would like to deploy and properly restructure under Chapter 11, debtors will get more funds back.  Very rarely 100%.  The golden Brick shit is about to be obsolete in a few weeks thanks to Bitmain S3. What source of cash flow do they have after that? The legal team they have is most likely working for cash up front, huge retainer or they will end up on this list same as us and what are left are pennies on the dollar for outstanding creditors.  A decent attorney ranges from about $275 to $400 per hr. in San Francisco. I would take bets they are late on utilities and lease obligations as well.  Under Chapter 11 these get paid first.

Actually the people on the list are those who did not receive their magic internet money making machines so this should not be much of a problem

Not true...I received a shitty miner that hashes at less than 350 GH/s that needs to be rebooted every few hours.

Ok I think I found my name on creditors list: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4g8D3nvEYDzajhuTzJTWmZWM3c/edit

It seems that my address there isn't complete (missing United Kingdom, London). Is it only a draft of creditors adresses or do they have my full details somewhere? Is there anyone dealing with creditors, I could e-mail my complete address to?

Thanks

fucking shit....so hashfast just help compiled a hit list for people that want to physically steal bitcoin machines.

beef up your physical security all. please.

just curious: as the ancestor to hashfast in the sense of "pre-order never delivered", how come BFL still lives, and never sued for bankruptcy?

Because BFL mostly conned/screwed a lot of people for a little bit of money.  Hashfast on the other hand conned/screwed fewer people for a *HUGE* amount of money.  Those people are now fighting back.

edit: FUCK!

edit2: Hopefully, Simon and Amy have moved since their addresses are also in the list. Despite by utter disdain for this company I wouldn't want to see physical harm come to anyone.

I live in an open carry stand your ground state. I have relocated hardware to a colo anyway for electricity reasons.

So, how did the creditor formation meeting turned out to be?
Any updates?
Nothing too exciting.  People got a chance to ask questions of Hashfast's bankruptcy lawyer and their CFO, who was there representing the company.  Neither Simon nor Eduardo showed up.
And the interesting answers were given using orders of magnitude: How much is the IP worth? 1 to 10 millions. Meh.

Tnx. Good thing they aren't giving blurry answers.

That government form is not allowing me to register my proper address. It does not accept non US states or zip codes. Should I fax proof of claim to Jessica Mickelsen's fax number  as listed on the creditor matrix?

No, the hardcopy of the proof of claim has to be filed via standard mail, unfortunately.

I think perhaps if the creditor (you) are not a US citizen or have a US address the online form will not work for you.

Others have been able to file their claim through this online form:
https://ecf.canb.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/autoFilingClaims.pl

If someone knows for sure if everyone needs to send their claim form by mail or only if you are not from/living in the US it would be helpful to clarify for everyone.

Thanks

I successfully filed my claim today online, I am from the UK so it should work for everyone.

I thought the address is US-only? How did you bypass the address?

When I entered my name and the case number my address was already listed so I just selected it to move on to the rest of the form.
