Anyone has S7 Pacmi contracts? They have returned 35% returned but it has already been 56 days. If I am not mistaken, it has a clause on the 90th days which states that contract might go into sleep mode.

What will happen after 90th day?

Only if it is unprofitable to run anymore.  They guarantee that no matter what they will run the contract for 90 days (not sure if its 90, used to be 107 or something), but if the S7 is unprofitable to run after that time is up, they can suspend the contract.

Go to the S7 hash page to see what the current maintenance fee to profitability ratio is.

It is difficult to hold on to S7 hashes due to its volatility, generally you will be making losses as your S7 value plunges that cannot be covered fast enough through hashing. Looks like the traders and bots are winning. Worthwhile to hold on to S7 hashes? Doesn't look like it Sad
It sure doesn't seem like it is worth it to hold on to S7 hashes, but surely at some point we will see it level off, right?  I am glad I sold off about 33% of my S7 in the .00121 range, but wish I would have dumped it as soon as it hit my account!

Just word of warning - as the next difficulty jump will be quite brutal (about +20%) be prepared that the hashes prices will have to drop as the ROI at current prices will get crushed.
Yeah it has been pretty terrible holding on to S7 on Hashnest.  Just a steady drop in market price from the start, and no sign of letting up.  Only good thing is with btc price going up they should mine through the halving which is well away but a lot can happen before then.

Yea I can't withdraw at all.  Tried going through the withdraw process and after putting in my 2FA it just takes me back to the withdraw page and doesn't say success or error or anything.

Not sure whats up.

EDIT:  Scratch that, apparently it did go through, it just didn't give me a confirmation or take the coins out of my wallet right away.  Alls good though.

I dont mine Sha 256 anymore but I m still amazed about the fact BTC diff can grow 20% per month, having in mind this base. Do you know how many farms they need to build and how big these farms need to be to be able to get this result. I guess it s good thing for BTC cause more money flows into the industry but at the same time, it s a very bad think for small home or cloud miners. I guess that era s over.

This is why I seriously suggest to switch to PoS coins. Not all, just a few of these are good, have price stability, nice inflation control and enough liquidity to successful make money.

Has anyone else had issues with the new 2-factor authentication for withdraws?

It seems to only accept my "trade password" once every few tries, even if I'm copying and pasting. It just suddenly "works" one time after failing several others.

I think there is also wrong with the 2fa or the google auth if that is what you are using if not hashnest just alone. Im using Google auth and its not working properly to other site that i am required to enter the 2fa code. I had many times entering the right code but did not work.
I have never been able to unverify my Google Auth on Hashnest, but no issues withdrawing or using the authenticator on other sites.

I had had this issue a while ago and it was something wrong on my phone.  There is a certain box under settings you have to check in your phone to ensure that it is correctly linked up with the correct time, otherwise your phone is providing a different 2FA number than Hashnest is looking for.  I believe the box is something like, "allow your phone to set the time based on what it received over the internet" or something like, basically letting the network set the time for you.

Cloud mining is just a business which means they need to make money. Sure you get some profits, but they get more.
Because it is so simple to offer hashes and so hard to check if they have actual hardware, there are so many parties offering this.

If you want to mine, buy equipment, if you want profit, go trade. Don't use cloud mining for this purposes.

I don't get why people do cloud mining. The difficulty continues to
go up as your hash becomes more worthless. At least when I mine
at home I can sell my miner a month or 2 before its worthless and
recoup some cash giving me a small ROI and still supporting the
network. Everytime I have tried cloud I lose money unless I'm just
flipping hash earning fractions trading like on cex with no fees back
in the day.

good luck to guys still doing it even after all the places that have gone
belly up and shown its a bad investment.

Hashnest was profitable for quite a while. Then the thieves decided to give themselve some extra bonuses (remember the scam with the blocks).
These days no other cloud mining company can either be trusted, nor be used to achieve ROI.

Guys, is it a bad time to buy G/H on Hashnest?

I think SHA 256 cloud mining and home mining s about to reach the end. Diff growth s been so massive lately and it ll probably continue to rise if BTC price continues to increase. So I think people should turn to alternative ways of mining.

To answer your question, unless you plan to trade GHs as well, mining to reach ROI s going to be very hard to achieve.

Thanks for the input guys! Well according to a mining calculator I saw online, it would only take like 100 days to get ROI from S4 or S5. Is this true?

In pure theory yes. Even less, again in theory, cause you can sell you hash when you reach 70% ROI, for example, and make some money.

Why this does not work? Cause mining diff s been jumping 20% per month and consequently hash price s been going down that much. So, include this in your calculations and u ll see what u re gonna get.

That is a moving target, but if all things stayed constant (difficulty and btc price) then yes you would ROI in 100 days.  But, as we know that is not going to happen so it will most likely be more than 100 days.
