Just think about those people whom bought the S7 hashes for 2 BTC.
It's less then half right now.. The BTC price however did increase by 70% which makes the loss less.

But with growing difficulty, I don't think it will be very profitable.

Yes. I got Error 500 upon login. Btw, did Hashnest just implement Cloudflare? Error 500 usually means server error.
For me the site is working very good. No error, lags ..

lol. Please use the quote function next time. Else, others might think you are just parroting.

Can't believe the S7 hash crashed to below 0.001

If you do the math, taking difficulty increases, fees when selling, actual mined BTC, maintenance costs even - you'll see at 0.001 it was massively overpriced.  Not unlike the actual AntMiner S7, haha.

But I agree with you, I was surprised it crashed so quickly as soon as the difficulty rise took place.  I expected a drop but what occurred was a bit of panic selling.

Is it possible to change Antminer S5 PPLNS to PPS?
The payout of PPS is stable than PPLNS.

Hashnest doesn't let you choose.  If you buy hash, it has to be on PPLNS.  I believe if you mine to Antpool with your own miners, then you have the option between PPS and PPLNS.
I see.

Change the price of the Antminer S5 in Hashnest shop sometimes? The Price affects the GHS/BTC price for the S5.

when I did pacmic 3 contract they asked me to use google authenticator.
Now I got another phone, but somehow cannot transfer my settings to new phone by simply restoring my old account on new phone.
Does anybody know how to transfer old authenticator settings to new iphone?
thanks

When you setup the 2FA, it gave you a private key to write down, if you did not write this code down, then you cannot restore your 2FA onto a new phone.  Either get your old phone and disable it, then reenable it with your new phone, or email Hashnest and pray that they help you out to disable it, but be prepared to provide docs and other ways to verify your identity.

Always write down the code it gives you when you setup a new 2FA, if you don't have that code and something happens to your phone, you can consider those coins gone.

thankfully, I did write down the private key, but what to do next?
Delete app from old iphone first or setup anew on new phone (using private key somehow?), then delete on old phone?

I would advise not to delete the old app until it's working on your new phone. Download the app on your new phone and Click setup account. It will have a place to type in the private key and you should be all good to go. If you habe plans to trade in or sell the old phone, I would advise to completely wipe it, because if anyone gets into that app, they could get into your account.

totally confused: authenticator says to input the account as [email protected], so should it be @hashnest.com or my official bitmain account email address? I tried the latter and it did not work. Key I assume is the private key that hashnest provided.
thanks

Edit: nevermind...it just an awkward authenticator interface, it got the code, but wasn't showing it until I clicked on the "bar".
So now both phones (old and new) are showing the same thing (codes), which is kind of bizarre. Or is this normal?

i think i got it-big thanks.
this looks like a much more awkward procedure than typical iphone stuff.

this is a second app i have difficulty with. the first one was breadwallet that absolutely refused to restore the wallet from seed on a new phone, although wallet on old phone was working fine. i had to basically sent all btc from old phone to another account, then setup a new wallet on the new phone. maybe it was because I did not delete the wallet on old phone first? Regardless, I did not want to take the risk, so basically zeroed the account.

Would not one factor to consider ROI be their relative size/power vs. other miners, e.g. how many blocks they can get by growing that otherwise would go to competitors...?

On another note, I'm a happy customer since awhile. When BITMAC v2 came out, I bought a bunch of them as they really will give profit, not big but rather fast. It works nicely.

However, one thing which I'm able to invest in is UMISOO - I know what all the Ants are but what is UMISOO....?  Huh

UMISOO was based off of the S2 hashpower and was one of the first offering by Hashnest.  It is no longer traded and cannot be bought or sold as the maintenance fee exceeded profitability.

I am not sure what your asking in your first question.

I was thinking about this as well. I could hold it and collect the amount generated but the drop in price is too fast for the generation to recover. I don't know but that's just me.
At this point my personal opinion is to just hold it unless you badly need the coin for something.  At some point the difficulty should flatten out again, and the S7 is more than efficient enough to be the last miner standing in Hashnest.  The btc price is hard enough to predict, but all it takes is it falling again for the price/ghs to increase enough to get out ahead, or even.

Then again the other side of the equation is S7 prices continue to drop like a rock, and btc price and difficulty continue through the roof!  Undecided

I had no choice but to cashout all my S7 hashes

I have to sell too, but the price is so low Sad

It s gonna only get lower. At least BTC s going down but I highly doubt Hashnest s fast on lowering their maintenance fee.
BTC going down? It''s at $460, and no way Hashnest ever lowers their maintenance fee because it is all profit for them.  They make people happy by offering the hardware, and giving them a "safe" place to buy easy cloud mining even though it is getting stretched thin.

when i bought 100gh s7, i spent 0.17 btc. after more then month reinvest all earning from hashnest and now i have 125 gh, if i sell them now, i will get 0.1 and according of this i must be happy? -0.07 btc profit more then 1 month? is this real good?

i am not going to sell. i prefer wait, and see what will happened.  i am taking about 40-50k satoshi every day from hashnest and i will collect them.
